Stopped by after enjoying the many rooms of the Royal Palace. The vibe was pretty relaxed. The servers were all over it, asking if we need something else and making sure we didn't need for anything. The food was great. They had a menu that explained what each dish was, and between the menu and Yelp!, I wanted to try it all. I mean, it's a tourist spot with great location and access to traffic, but it knows it and isn't pretentious about it. What is nice is they have familiar and local flavors to try. We stuck to simple for this first visit. Cheese croquettes, patatas bravas, and fries with fried egg and Iberian ham (huevos estrellados). It was all good, but I wanted to try the calamari and the clams. My daughter devoured her smash burger slider... then we ordered another patatas bravas. The Estrella beer is good, i will have the .6L size next time. Great vibe, no pressure, and all the time that you want to try the tapas. Plenty of room inside... it was a pleasant experience.

This place is fantastic! A little pricier for tapas but worth every euro! The decor is gorgeous, very upscale and trendy. My friends and I enjoyed some really great dishes, drinks and dessert. The staff here was super friendly and sweet. I had some of the best seafood I've ever had in my life here. So clean and fresh! I will definitely be back to try more dishes!
This was the first dinner I had in Madrid. This was also my last dinner before I left Spain. My best friend loves this place and now I love this place. Spain is known for their tapas and this place is amazing . I am obsessed with each and every dish. The dessert is to die for. I have not had a better chocolate dessert than the chocolate coolant. I can truly tell you that this was the best glass of Sangria I've ever had in my life. I cannot wait to return to Madrid and this will definitely be my first stop.
Was still on California time, and since most restaurants aren't open until late, we saw this place while walking around and decided to feed our hunger with some tapas. They're pretty cheap for a reason, as items don't have the best and freshest ingredients. Not typical spanish tapas either, like an almond crusted shrimp with tons of mayo, yuck! The best one was the tortilla, but hard to go wrong with eggs and potatoes.
They have a lot of plates on their menu but when we were ordering, they said they didn't have a lot like the octopus and mussels which we really wanted to try. The sangria was a little too sweet. The paella was overcooked and dry. But the salad and the chili were super good. It's easy to find because it's on the main street, Gran Via, right by McDonalds. The tables here like most restaurants in Spain are small and very close together. It was overall an average experience.

Our hotel was across street therefore we visited this spot a few times and each time it was delish!! They serve yummy paella, steak, tapas, burgers, fries Burch dishes and more!!! Great location also!! Can dine in or out! read more

The food was okay not the best. We stayed for a while just chatting. Drinks were probably the best part. Staff was nice and offered some dishes to try out. It gets busy, if you're coming with a group make sure to have a reservation. We awkwardly sat in between others which I wasn't a huge fan of. Hummus was really good, ahi and crab dishes were alright. I'd come if it was last resort! It's in one of the busiest areas of Madrid. Tourist central. read more

Touristy chain in a convenient spot if you just want quick food and to sit for a moment. Service was good and prices are fine for the area. Overall if you want better tapas go somewhere else but this is good in a pinch or just for some drinks! read more

Best place for " le aperitivo" which in Spain, is basically like a happy hour. They have great tapas to choose from. My face is the steak tar tar bocadillo with una caña de estrella damn. Right in the heart of the gran via, this is the best place to grab a beer and tapas with friends! read more

It was very close to the hotel I stayed it and seemed like a touristy spot. I went for the vibe and not for the food. Staff was very hospitable and had us seated right away. Place was crowded, mostly outside seating but we chose to sit inside as it was very hot. We ordered some potatoe and egg layered cake, roasted peppers and calamari. Food was ok. Fro the price it seemed fair. We wanted couple of items from the dessert but most of the items were out. We ended up getting chocolate lava cake with Chiclayo icecream. Portion was perfect for two pple and tasted really good. Overall visit the place for the ambience and crowd. May be one can have better tapas outside of the central Madrid read more

I don't know if I was just hungry but I know well enough to say that this was a good restaurant with freshly made tapas. The second batch of Pan con tomate was toasted a bit too much. Service is great! You can call on anyone and they will come to help out. I recommend this restaurant. Go for it! read more

We enjoyed eating a quick breakfast here to start our day. This restaurant is located in central Madrid, and it is right beside the Praktik Metropol Hotel that we stayed in. They had affordable prices for the quantity of food. I would definitely recommend to eat breakfast here if you are staying in the hotel or exploring central Madrid near Calle Gran Vía. read more
