Pizza sucks but the ambiance at night is cool. I paid $28 for this dry pepperoni pizza. A hot pocket is better than this. At least they have live music.

Meat Lovers Pizza and Salt and vinegar wings

Stopped by here for lunch while staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village and was frankly a bit disappointed at the food quality (at least for the pizza we ordered)--tasted very "generic" and did not pack a lot of flavor despite being the meat lover's pizza. The wings that were supposed to be salt and vinegar did not have much of a vinegar taste to it either. Service was excellent though as far as staff goes. Drinks are good, and ambiance is excellent when there is live music in the evenings, so do stop by for that at least!

Just had burgers and some drinks. This bar is at the bottom of our building. First night here, tired and hungry and ordered the funguy burger and loaded fries. The burger was very good but the bun overpowered the burger. Brioche bun which is my favorite bun but way too big. The burger itself was good but not enough of their sauce. Loaded fired were good but soggy. Drinks were good and generous pours. All in all good but very pricey but expected at the hotel.

Awful Waffle Fries

We watched a playoff football game here and it was really busy. We were able to snag a table during happy hour. The waitresses were spread pretty thin but she was still able to help us out quickly when we flagged her down. We order off the happy hour menu. The awful fries were delicious but definitely way too spicy once we got to the peppers. So we ordered the loaded fries to try to balance everything out. Fries were what you would expect, good but nothing crazy. Drinks were pretty good and a good place to watch the game

The Tapa Bar is such a great place to have a drink and/or grab a quick bite to eat any time of the day. This little bar is located o the Hilton Hawaiian Village resort just past the check in (almost centered in the resort). They offer both bar and table seating, depending what mood or company you have. It is very lively, since it's located next to one of the resorts small pool, but also has live entertainment every evening. This is kid friendly, so long as they sit at the available tables. It is a full bar offering a variety of local beers and traditional domestic and imports. While away from home, I have to try those beers that are local to the area and not available near home. The bartenders can mix up anything you ask for, or you may choose from their unique cocktails. David is one of the Tapa Bar bartenders that works here (but you can also find him filling in at other bars within the resort). He is very friendly and, when not too busy, will spike up a conversation with you. I can't end the review without talking about their food. They offer a small menu of food and appetizers. I tried their burger and fries. Although it was simple, it had great flavor. Be aware of the birds that perch around the area. They seem to always be watching. If you leave your food unattended, they will know and swoop in! When they say "Please Don't Feed The Birds" they mean it.

The drinks here are amazing. They were fast with service and have a few drinks that are off the menu. I really enjoyed my drink. The band playing was enjoyable as well.

Great experience here while on vacation. Got the loaded fries and they were good. Definitely bar food but that's not a bad thing. It is a large portion and flavorful. Service was a little slow and our waiter was a little too interested in the tv. The dining is outdoors and the weather was excellent. For a quick bite out then on your list.

Came here 9:00sh pm, listening to their live music and to grab a beer and pupu's. Nice menu with a variety for all. Shared a pizza and Buffalo wings. Food is meh, tastes liked everything came out of the freezer. Service was nice, band was great. Fun just to hang out with friends and cousins. A chill place!

Just including pictures as proof of being there tonight...

So for years now I have had good friends and business partners complain how bad this bar was. I never really followed up because over 10 years, I figured they had an off night. Tonight June 23rd 2026, from about 7pm to 10pm, there was the most embarrassing service ever. So all those years of not calling corporate is over. I'm embarrassed for the people of Hawaii to have their visitors come to the Tapa Bar and receive, way less then bad service. I didn't get names of service people but the older chinese lady server should not be serving. I'll call corporate to explain but the bottom line - she was the worse ever and she had no pride in her self or her job. We ordered water and when I went to get water for the table, the 2 bartenders pointed to cups and water jugs instead of stepping up and pouring it. They were not pouring drinks, they were just standing there. So for corporate, please mark the servers, waitresses, bartenders, working on June 23, 2026 between 7pm and 10pm, they need to be retrained, but I doubt that would happen. No pride or work ethic between all of them. Since I called into corporate, they gave me 2 managers names, and again, I will call corporate this week. But the 2 names I received were Tiffany Okamoto, tokamoto@hilton.com and Vincent Brunetti, vbrunetti@hilton.com. I am writing their names down because there is no way that they don't know what goes on at the Tapa Bar. I don't even work for Hilton but I am extremely embarrassed how the Tapa Bar is managed and run. Again, I can do a detailed write up but I'll just explain to corporate via phone...

Finally got to take my daughter here to this resort with her bestie and besties mom! We went every night and enjoyed the live music so much. Their eagle fries are amazing and the drinks are pretty good too! The women serving were all wonderful!!

Happy Hour Mai Tai

Happy hour drinks and live music always nice. Ordered a pizza also which was ok. No picture sorry

Village Mai Tai
Bethani E.

Showed up for Happy Hour (3-5pm) Labor Day weekend, but was informed that the Happy Hour specials were not being offered during the union strike. My server was super nice and got my drinks quickly despite the circumstances. Hilton had to pivot quickly for food service with CJ's and Round Table pizza serving their menus. Was able to get a table by the pool. The pina colada was refreshing, and the Mai Tai was strong. Even though service was a little slow, everyone was friendly and professional. Would definitely come back when things go back to normal and visit at night during live music. This was the place to be on hotel premises. Thanks for the afternoon cocktails after a long hula festival weekend.

It felt a little cramped, and you could hear the neighboring parties conversations quite clearly. After a while though, getting into our own conversation, it didn't bother me. Our hostess, I wish o remembered her name, was fantastic! Petite young lady with blonde hair and she wore glasses. She checked in with us as soon as the last member of our party arrived, and gave us the appropriate amount of time to look through the menu. She even came by to let us know she was going on a break and pointed out who was going to temporarily take care of us. I ordered their version of a high-ball and it was delicious! My friend had an oat milk latte that he drank in no time! My other friend had another coffee drink that she also enjoyed. Their coffee drinks are really delicious. For pupus we ordered their fries topped with poke and their original açaí bowl. The poke was fresh, and the fires cooked perfectly! It was sooo good! Island Vintage is also known for their açaí bowls, and they did not disappoint. So refreshing, and not too sweet. Ours came in a huge cappuccino cup and we split it amongst 3 people. We all had a tiny cup. Overall, a great experience!!! Friendly staff, and delicious foods and drink. Love this place! Oh, and right next door they have their coffee bar! Just as fantastic!

Eggs benedict was mine, and normally I love eggs benny, but this version came on a brioche bread instead of english muffin and it wasn't my favorite. Service was great though and it was much easier to be seated there than wait in line for the quick-service location right next door.

Ultra Violet had a pretty presentation, with a glowing coaster attached to the bottom of the glass. It was overall a very sweet drink, but the alcohol content wasn't that noticeable to be honest. My friend also said the Hana Hou! was very sweet and lacking in noticeable alcohol content as well. We also ordered the Ube Panna Cotta for dessert, and I loved it. The lime cream on top actually adds a very nice acidic contrast to the milky creaminess of the ube panna cotta. Lastly, I wanted to give a shoutout to our server, Jerrod. For our first time we decided to just walk-in and they had a 20-minute wait, which was not too bad compared to other dinner spots. However, I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time through Open Table. For dinner we decided to go with the mushroom cheese risotto, truffle alfredo fettuccine and arugula salad. For my little one we went with their margherita pizza. Everything was outstanding! Probably the best risotto I've ever had! It was packed with flavor and so good and comforting. The truffle alfredo was perfection, and the taste of the truffle was on point. My little picky eater almost finished the whole pizza, which I guess was a good sign. We loved it so much we decided to come back the following week. For the second time I didn't notice I had made reservations during their happy hour. Please note they have a happy hour food menu with heavily discounted food items which I thought was amazing. During this time we also tried the curry meatball and the prosciutto pizza. As always, everything was absolutely delicious! I know people don't usually go to Hawaii to eat Italian food, but definitely give this spot a chance during your visit!

I on the other hand had asked for a non-alcoholic option. Unfortunately, they ran out of ginger beer, all the sparkler options, and didn't serve any soda. The bartender looked pretty irritated by that point, and didn't even provide me with a glass of water. We would've grabbed a bunch of food to compensate for taking up a seat, but by then, the bartender had already dropped the check, and we hadn't even sat there for more than 5 minutes. The most interesting part was that an older couple sat next to us, similar situation. The gentleman asked for a glass of wine, and his wife asked for a non-alcoholic beverage. Though a different bartender came back with a sparkler option for her. Needless to say, I felt pushed aside and I don't believe I'll be back to this location any time soon. The only reason I didn't give this review a 1-2 star is that I recognize that Abe is busting his butt there. He was floating back and forth between this bar and Eleven. The space is relaxed and inviting, with a calm, tucked-away feel that makes you forget you're inside a hotel. The happy hour menu is impressively priced, with starters beginning at just $6, yet everything feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated. Highlights included the toasted bread with sun-dried tomato pistou -- warm, crisp toast paired with a deeply savory, herbaceous spread that's simple but incredibly satisfying. The mini poke bowl was fresh and well-balanced, showcasing clean flavors and quality fish without being overly heavy. The fish tacos delivered exactly what you want: crispy island fish, bright flavors, and a great balance of texture. We also tried the fish and chips, featuring lightly fried island fish, hot fries, and a creamy house remoulade that tied the dish together beautifully.
