Great food, great atmosphere. I had the tacos and nachos and both were fantastic. Smoking is allowed which being from Boston was kind if shocking initially but I like the smell so this didn't bother me. Best place in airport by far! Or at least A Terminal!

I remember having the Blueberry Breeze, which was light, refreshing, and just sweet enough with the blueberry and lemon. I also had the Kale Caesar, and I really enjoyed it. The Manchego and Serrano-Caesar dressing gave it a little more flavor than your standard Caesar. The atmosphere was one of the things I liked most about Bulla. It was modern, lively, and social without feeling like you had to scream across the table to have a conversation. It worked just as well for lunch or after-work drinks as it did for sitting down and sharing a few tapas. Service was always friendly and attentive, and the tapas-style menu made it easy to order a few things and share instead of committing to one large meal. The 11th Street location was also right in the middle of Midtown, so it was an easy place to meet up for lunch, happy hour, or dinner. Great drinks, good food, attentive service, and a really nice Midtown atmosphere. Definitely a spot I enjoyed and one I wish was still around.

I had the gnocchi, which was their vegetarian dish, and was able to add salmon to it. It was really, really good. My partner had the burger, and everything just felt high quality, well put together, and thoughtfully prepared. Definitely not what you typically expect from airport dining. The service was wonderful too. The wait staff were knowledgeable and attentive, and the whole experience somehow made you forget you were sitting inside an airport. Even the music was great. They had some of the best '90s R&B playing, which made the whole thing even more enjoyable. Great food, great service, great music, and such a good time. Definitely the perfect exit to our Atlanta trip.

Service was great, waitress had great recommendations for everyone in her area. She also added sauce on the side for me to try. I ordered lamb couscous plate, forgot the official name of it but lamb was very tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. Couscous was firm but cooked, hummus and tahini flow with that combo very well. My only complaint about this dish is the combo of warm and cold ingredients. Everything was warmed and cooked but the vegetables that were on top, it surprised me for sure. However it was still tasty. They served food and drinks in glass and ceramics, which i am very appreciative of, no plastic water cups, i know that bar is low but that is just a reality nowadays. Good food selection, great customer care, maybe just a tiny bit more attention to the food composition. Would recommend! P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.

Their burgers are always a hit, literally they never miss. And if you're a salad lover like me, the Salmon Salad is easily one of my favorites. Funny enough, I never expected the food to be this good, so I rarely remember to take pictures before I start eating! I'm there almost every Sunday, though, so I'll definitely be back with photos soon. The customer service is always welcoming, especially once you become a regular. Upon walking in there wasn't a hostess or anyone telling you where to sit, so we just sat at the bar. The gentleman at the bar greeted us and was really nice and attentive. He gave us waters as we looked over our menus and chatted a little. I decided on the brisket nachos, with everything on the side, and a 10pc lemon pepper wings. I also ordered the Champarita to drink. Because it was around lunchtime a lot of the traffic was from people who were on their lunch breaks, including many local police officers. It wasn't loud or too busy, I believe we went at the right time because we had a lot to talk about. Our food came out quick and it was okay. I guess I was overly excited because she had ranted and raved about it, but it as somewhat a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, the champarita was really good and I had two of them lol. The wings were good, but lacked seasoning. Just because they're lemon pepper doesn't mean the wing can't be seasoned BEFORE frying. It was disappointing because they looked like they were about to be soooo good. The queso for the nachos was really good. Put me in the mind of the queso from the Mexican restaurants. The brisket definitely had a Smokey taste but that was where the taste ended. I'm glad I got everything separated because I would've been mad if I had to eat the brisket. I actually took it home to my dog. Overall, the service was GREAT!! If I were to go back it would simply be because of the drink I had, not the food.

My friend and I wanted to try something different, and when she suggested Boxcar, I literally asked, "Where is that?" She pointed out that it was in the same area we'd been standing in countless times. For anyone visiting for the first time, it is a little tucked away past the food hall. You'll also need to walk up a set of stairs to reach the restaurant, which is worth knowing ahead of time if stairs are inconvenient or inaccessible for you. Once inside, I really liked the atmosphere. They also offer outdoor seating, but with the Georgia heat that day, there was absolutely no discussion--we were sitting INSIDE. Our server was Najah (please forgive me if I'm misspelling!), and she was AWESOME. Such a warm spirit, great energy, and exactly the type of person you'd want greeting you whether it's your first visit or your tenth. Since this was my first time, I asked for recommendations. We started with the Boom Boom Shrimp from the happy hour menu, which is available Monday through Friday until 7 PM. The shrimp? 10/10. No notes! For our entrées, my friend ordered the fish and chips, which she loved--and it came with hush puppies, so really, how could you go wrong? I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Jam Smashburger, and it was cooked perfectly. I don't even remember being asked how I wanted it cooked, but somehow they knew exactly what needed to happen. And that bacon jam?! I LOVE a sweet-and-salty combination, so it was right up my alley. The fries were fire too, but apparently I was feeling a little greedy because I noticed mac & cheese on the menu and decided I needed that as well. LISTEN. I would've been perfectly happy if somebody had taken away everything else and left me alone with that mac & cheese. It was THAT good. Easily 20/10. I actually had to ask Najah who made it because I needed to understand what exactly was happening back there! She told me about the chef, who is Caribbean and from New York, and as someone with Caribbean roots who is also from New York, I may be a little biased--but suddenly I understood why that mac & cheese spoke to my spirit the way it did. I've literally been telling people about it ever since. There's still so much on the menu that caught my attention, including the lamb burger, Brussels sprouts, short rib, and several other dishes. I've included a picture of the menu because there's definitely more exploring to do here. As far as seating, Boxcar seems pretty versatile. There were just two of us, but there's plenty of indoor seating along with bar seating, and I could easily see a group of around 10-12 being comfortable. I also noticed what appeared to be a separate space toward the back that may be available for larger gatherings. Between Najah's wonderful service, the atmosphere, everything we ordered, and THAT MAC & CHEESE, Boxcar absolutely earned a return visit. I've already been bragging about the mac & cheese to everybody who will listen, so now I'm looking forward to finding out what I'll be bragging about after my next visit.

So, I guess no Taco Tuesday. My sister ordered a skinny spicy margarita, and I ordered a local IPA. The margarita was a little heavy on the mix, and my beer was tasty but not chilled enough. We placed our orders for food after about 10 or 15 minutes, because the bartender was a bit busy and didn't come back over. We didn't mind, because we were watching tennis. My sister ordered sweet potato fries to go, and I ordered a build your own burger. I customized my burger to have: chickpea patty, sautéed onions, bacon, avocado and Swiss cheese. We waited at least another 30 minutes, and nothing came. My sister asked for her check close to 1PM. At that point he brought out her food, which he stated he "stole" from the kitchen. So after waiting at least 30 minutes, her to-go order actually had not been prepared. At that point he mentioned to me that the kitchen informed him they didn't have any chickpea patties prepped and were making it fresh. My sister had to leave, and I continued to wait. At 1:10PM I decided I would cancel the order whenever the bartender showed back up, and he happened to walk around the corner with my food. I immediately requested a box and the bill. I received the ticket and was charged 1.00 per honey mustard which was never mentioned. I paid my bill, packed up my food, finished my beer and left. I got into my car, looked closely at the food and realized the bacon I paid 3.00 extra for was missing. I was over the entire experience, and decided I wasn't going back inside to wait longer for bacon. Disappointing experience overall.
