For dinner we tried the beef curry and chicken katsu curry. Both were delicious. I had the chicken katsu. I really liked the breading as it was light and crispy - not too thick or greasy. The sauce was also rich and flavorful. I made it a combo which includes miso soup and a salad of choice. I selected the cucumber salad which was a little sweet but refreshing with the meal. Food didn't take that long but I like that there was a wait because I know it'll be freshly made. When I walked into the restaurant to pick up my order, inside was cozy and I noticed that it was pretty busy for a late Tuesday lunch. A really nice young woman who rang me up and handed me my bag of goods. When I got home, I was pleased to see that they had separated the Katsu from the curry sauce, so my meat didn't end up being soggy. Their curry sauce is different from most curry houses. There are some herbs in it that I can't put my finger on, but I love it because it's not like any of the others. Chicken was juicy and rice was fluffy. I also like their kizami ginger which had a nice solid crunch. Even though it took me a while to pick up my food, it was still nice and warm when I sat down to eat it. They have a self-serve soda machine ($3.25 for 16oz soda) with small water cups for use, and the tables are already prefilled with the necessities (napkins, disposable chopsticks, soy sauce).
