    10 piece wings
    Della S.

This place definitely has more of a bar vibe than a restaurant vibe, which explains to me why the menu isn't as extensive as what you would find at a typical Indian/Nepalese restaurant. However, the items I tried were excellent! I came by on a Saturday night around 10pm and the kitchen was still open. They had a limited menu that was restricted to their chicken tenders/wings, momos, chow mein, and fries/onion rings. We got the 10 piece wings ($16.99), chicken momo ($9.99 for 8 pieces), and vegetable chow mein ($9.99). The wings were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the honey BBQ sauce on them was very tasty. The chicken momo had a really nicely seasoned filling and the tomatoey gingery sauce paired perfectly! I loved how they were bold with the spices and seasonings in the chow mein which was packed with vegetables and flavor. Everything was seasoned well without being too salty. The food paired well with their affordable beer. On food alone, I would highly recommend this spot.

Ordered delivery. Extremely tiny portions for some reason. The food actually tastes good but not sure if it's worth the money.

The food was incredible and the service was fast. The malai kofta was sensational. The prices were reasonable too! Would love to go back.

Worse wings I've ever eaten. Don't bother. Fries were fine, but wouldn't have them delivered.

The lady's rude. Not sure why she was but just wasn't nice. The guys are nice though. The foods decent.

Don't go here unless you want to be told your real ID is fake and then have to call the cops to get it back

I am a big fan of the wings, I like them hot and these wings don't disappoint, plenty of beers and cocktails to wash them down! You will love your visit, highly recommend!

Hanging out in Boston on business and it's #WingWednesday! So I did some research which lead me to…read morethe Shine Square Pub in Cambridge, MA which is a little east-northeast of Boston. Here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: It's a bit of a dive bar and there's nothing wrong with that at all. There's lots of seemingly random swag that covered the dark wooden/brick walls of the open floorplan style restaurant. There are lots of TVs and this place just gives off nice sports bar vibes! Service: Ron the bartender/owner himself was taking care of the entire restaurant so he was killing it! He still was quick, efficient, did things with a smile and still made time to chat! Food: I'm here for the wings and I was able to try out 4 flavors! There are 14 sauces to choose from, but I only had enough room for 4. Lol. First up were the Cinnamon Chipotle Dry Rub. They were a decent size, super juicy, crispy, cooked perfectly. The seasoning was a bit on the salty side and I didn't get a whole lot of cinnamon, but it was there to cut the sauce and give it a extra layer of flavor. Next up was the Honey Honey which had great sauce coverage. They gave me a bit of a grilled/caramelized feel. These had a good kick to them and the honey was blended in nicely. Next up were the Roasted Garlic & Aji! These had a more traditional flavor profile that reminded me of your favorite straight-up roasted chicken. Very class and very good. Lastly, was the hottest sauce on the menu, Chernobyl. These were a BRIGHT RED like a poison dart frog warning you not to eat it. Lol. It didn't smell too intimidating, but Ron did say it was a ghost pepper based wing. Upon tasting them, there was an immediate sensation of heat. Good, pepper-rich sweetness up front. These were very good, but not as spicy as I had predicted, which is totally okay! Value: You get 6 wings for $11.00. A little on the pricey side, but it's Boston, sort-of downtown, but it's okay! It's not bad at all and the food was totally worth it. I loved this place and I'm so happy I finally found a good wing spot here in the Cambridge area. I'll surely try some more flavors and other things from their menu!

I'm…read morenormally a bit suspicious of prix fixe menus, but I was taken with Russell House Tavern's because none of their prix fixe items were on the menu, and they looked delicious. The prix fixe menu was $46 for an appetizer, entree and dessert. I got the French onion soup (with short rib!), duck cassoulet and the profiteroles. The French onion soup was more substantial than a typical French onion soup which is saying something - cheesy, breast and meaty. I probably could have just eaten the French onion soup. The duck cassoulet and profiteroles were solid, and I particularly enjoyed the duck confit. Wonderful service.

The place flirts with a nice classy vibe but there's something, I don't know, cheap about it. Like the Hollywood studio version of a speakeasy - it was only meant to be used for a couple of scenes and now it's been here for years. And this is really no fault of theirs but when you have a bunch of screaming trust funders sloshing their drinks around, it really washes the class right out. This is maybe more a review of Harvard than this place. The food is also pretty generic and unconscionably expensive. It's the $20 burger effect - if a place has a $20 burger on your menu, it has forgotten how food works. It has become a social experiment. One thing I will say is the staff is very attentive and nice - promotes this from a bad place to a meh place - kind of inoffensive. Again - maybe that's kind of a review of Harvard Sq, generally.
