Located down the alley directly across from Kelley Oneil's pub! We had a hard time finding it at first just type in Kelley Oneil's or the Pupu House if you need help finding it. happened upon this little spot on a drunken night in Waikiki across the st from Kelley O'Briens bar at like 3 am. Met one of the owners, Tanya is his wife and they are from East coast (cuz had a Baltimore accent from the heavens)! Lots of heart, and lots of patience for the drunk and hungry crowds. Food was incredible, it's literally the best thing to find on a night like that night. Something to sober up with and still be taking care of your body and tastebuds. I almost got the nachos and I'm kicking myself for not after have the house tacos. I don't remember which salsa is which. I asked them to make it spicy and they obliged! We passed by this little truck a few times until one day we decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised to know that their menu is fully vegan. I got three tacos with mild sauce. I really liked the tortilla and the "meat" inside. I do feel that three tacos did not fill me up. I was happy to give it a try and they tasted delicious. However, I would love to see more "meat" in the tacos :) The guy that helped us out was very friendly. Good service, portions are not too big and easily eaten in one sitting. Great to provide late night vegan food. I would love to see items that do not contain beyond meat and maybe just some bean dishes - otherwise won't be coming back often because I stay away from too much processed vegan foods but great for people looking for late night vegan and it's a novelty in Hawai'i. First of all, let me just say as a disclaimer that my boyfriend normally does not eat vegan food. There is no place on Oahu that he likes with vegan food, and believe me I've tried. He can usually always tell, and it just doesn't taste the same to him. Hands down one of the best taco places on the island. What's crazy is that this spot is off the beaten path, plant based, open late and totally off the radar during the week. Everything on the menu is made to order and made from scratch- it's the sort of thing you can eat and feel good after. I'm not plant based, but come back every weekend because it's that good. My girlfriend, who is vegan, loves it too and says she would eat it every day if she could. It's not easy finding vegan food open late which is how we stumbled upon this place. It's truly a gem.
