Got my implants from Dr Taneja 9 years ago when I was 21 years old.. saline. My breast size was originally a AA with no breast tissue.. I was flat flat. I only wanted something that appeared to look like a full B cup or small C. Upon consultations, against my better judgment I was convinced that "I should go bigger because it's better to go bigger than smaller" thus was influenced to go to a 400cc and 425cc. This left me with a DD breast size after. What kind of doctor pushes someone so young to go DOUBLE the size they wanted. I admit was at fault for listening... but at that age, you see black and white. I just knew I wanted implants. A couple months later I was left with INSANE amount of stretch marks. They made me so depressed and insecure. The top of my boobs had a million white lines going down them. I went back and spoke with an assistant I think or someone who does laser there. She pulled up images of my before and after and said "I could've told you in advance you'd get stretch marks." She did some laser for it to help. It did not. . Idk why my brain never thought to ask if I would get any. That NEVER crossed my mind.... As a surgeon, I think that's their job to point out what will happen to my skin. Less than 2 years later my breasts were rippled like crazy on the sides, I went back and he told me oh yea that's normal. Well geeeee, would've loved to know that before hand too. NOW 9 years later and I've struggled with breast implant illness for 9 years. Breast implant illness is not the surgeons fault, as everyone's body reacts differently, so I don't blame him for my body rejecting them. What I do blame him for is the lack of transparency, the coldness of the appts, the pushing me to go bigger while convincing me it was better. In addition, the implants themselves have not aged well. The last 8 years 1 falls to the side & the other looks like an oval. And I didn't realize how bad they looked until I had to take photos to the surgeon who is taking them out. When i spoke to the surgeon who's now taking them out, he actually said he's fixes a lot of Dr Tanejas work. Whats even worse is, I called last year to ask them if they have my records on file to tell me what exact size I got.. and the type of implant as many have been recalled.. sure enough they said they don't keep records after 6-7 years. Why would they discard records knowing that everyone has to get them replaced in 10 years and likely will need information? Wouldn't trust this place. For anyone considering implants please understand that there are good surgeons out there that will be honest about risk facts after looking at your skin, chest and breasts. Theres ones that'll be transparent and not try to persuade you to get things you didn't go in for. He willingly pushed a 21 year old that weighed 105 lbs and is 5"4 to get DD when I came in for a full B. Disgusting method he goes by. Oh I completely forgot to add that I've been completely disgusted by them these entire 9 years. They look absolutely ugly from the sides, they look soooo bulky, they never fell to look natural & it ruined my style and the things that I could confidently wear. read more

Had a consultation with Dr Taneja at 11am at his Pasadena office. I'm commuting from Victorville and got there early just to see sooo many women waiting inside the lobby and outside. What was the point of the consultation appointment if i didn't get called in until almost 1pm. Very unprofessional. In which all those consultations that are booked, everyone paid a pretty penny for. Once I was finally called, I had my husband in the room with me and I'm pretty sure the Doctor put on more of a macho man demeanor. I previously had my breasts done at 19 yrs old (saw him at 25 yrs old) and wanted to go bigger and get high profile. Right off the bat, he asked me if my right breast was popped. I told him not that I know of? And he goes "Yeah it looks popped." Next thing he asked was who my doctor was in which I told him who and he goes, "Why don't you just go back to him?" UM WHY WOULD I GO BACK TO A DOCTOR THAT I DIDN'T CARE FOR HIS WORK?! I responded with, "No i wouldn't go back to him, that's why im here." And he goes, "Well I'm just saying, If i were you I would go back to my original doctor since they have all your paperwork." Not sure if he thought I couldn't afford the procedure with him and wanted to hurry up and get out of there but I left his office feeling so mugged off. Dr. Taneja and his staff are so friendly and caring. From the second you walk in you feel like they are there for you, to help you. You don't feel like a number being rushed through. They make sure you feel comfortable and they're just so easy to be around and ask questions. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift with implants and he went through everything about my procedure with me and made sure I was picking the size of implants I wanted. My results are just amazing, I wouldn't change a single thing. I have been just over 200lbs 3 times (with each pregnancy I gained the same amount no matter what) the last pregnancy was twins and my body just looked terrible after. I work in fitness and have always kept myself in great shape. Aghhh mixed feelings about this place. -Dr. Taneja is friendly and nice. -Wait time is ridiculous. If your appt is at 9 you will be seen until 11 or past that. -For them to answer a phone call you better stay calling back to back for ever on the que hangs up and you have to keep calling!!! - The receptionist just in the front and hear the phone ring they don't answer. Their nice tho. - POST OPP sucks. After surgery you don't get instructions on what to do or expect they just make sure your awake and send you home. Although the nurses are super nice and amazing the follow up care sucks. -Make sure you do your research ladies don't let social media and the ton of followers he has fool you. I wasn't smart enough and just booked I was hyped. - Consultation is not to talk about your goals basically it's too tell you he could do it. Absolutely terrible customer service. Paid $150 a consultation but only received a quote via email. When I called to ask why I was receiving a quote, and not a consultation (as I paid for) I was rudely, told that all consultations are online and the quote was my consultation. I politely stated that nowhere in the process of filling out the online forms did it state that I would not receive an actual consultation. I would not have paid for it if they had...being that this is my first surgery, and I have several questions. The employee told me that if I wanted to meet with the doctor for a consultation, I would need to pay another $350. I politely asked for a refund of my $150 because now I do not feel comfortable continuing with the process, as I feel like just a number to them. If this is your first surgery, as is mine, please think twice about coming here. You will be spoken to rudely and in a condescending tone by there unprofessional employees. Taneja Review. Hello my name is Jen and I have been a patient of Dr Taneja since November of 2021. To say the least, my experience has been horrific. I have had multiple surgeries with him for breast implants because there has been numerous complications. His staff is very unprofessional and act as if we are inconveniencing them. On one occasion in particular I had called because my BREAST was leaking blood for about 20 minutes and the lack of urgency and attention I was given is embarrassing. It's been two years and after 4 surgeries I am still struggling to get the attention I deserve. I came to this doctor with high hopes of feeling my most confident and unfortunately after being a patient of his, I have never been more insecure in my life. After about $13,000 in costs, I would've expected to be decently satisfied but unfortunately, no and to mention costs, I am still being liable for spending more for him even fixing the problems. I waited 8 months for an in person visit...paid 150 dollars, waited almost 2 hours to see the doctor...just to see Dr Taneja less than 3 minutes!. My consultation was to down-size my implants because right now I am a D and I don't want large breasts anymore, I am looking for a more fresh, natural, modest look, something that will go with my body frame, I am 5 feet and 130lbs. He said my breast looked fine, and if I wanted to go smaller he will do it. That's all I got from him. No info on what to expect, or if will I need a lift as well. I also wanted lipo on my waist line, all he said ok, what else...I was floored, not once did he go into information about the surgery, what to expect or anything. I am very disappointed but at the same time glad to find out not only from the reviews but from my own experience that I need to go with a doctor that actually cares about his patients. I think he is way overbooked and that has made him become just tired, and almost like a robot, he didn't even make eye contact with me. By the pics on IG I see he does do a good job, but my first impression at the visit was not good... Before I booked Dr. Taneja I read and reviewed all the information on yelp and instagram. I was made a aware of the following: he has ALOT of patients with a long wait (based on his work this was worth it to me), you had to pay for a consultation ($150 which would be applied to your surgery), surgeries were being booked 18+ months out. I was ok with all of the above. I was looking for a smaller perkier breast (I was a 34DDD). When I met with Dr. Taneja via zoom he immediately made me aware that this was not a "one and done" surgery. He briefly went over scars, size and any complications. I booked my surgery for exactly 18 months out ($500 which is applied to your surgery). I got a call a few weeks later for a sooner appointment which was 6 months earlier. The center called me about a month before my surgery for an in person visit. I was so nervous to meet with him because of all the negative reviews about going to a smaller size. Dr told me my breast looked good and didn't see anything wrong with my breast. I told him I wanted smaller and perkier breast. He was so nice and down to earth. He explained the pain, the incisions, the scaring and side effects. He again told me this is not a "one and done" and that I would have to trust the process. Day of the surgery he was very nice and explained everything to me as he marked where he would make the adjustments. I had a follow up the day after and was extremely nauseated. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist noticed I wasn't feeling well and took me to a room. She gave me a soft drink and called the doctor in immediately. The nurses stayed with me until I was well enough to get up. A few weeks later I noticed redness and called for a follow up. Today I went in for the follow up and Dr. Informed me I popped a stitch and had an opened womb. Ahhhhh I know! He explained this happens from time to time. He showed me how to care for it and sent me with a care package. Honestly I feel like you need to go in with the understanding that it's a major surgery and with any surgery things can hit a snag. Listen to the doctor and trust the process. So far I love what they look like and can't wait for summer! read more
