I made an appointment at this office to see Barbara Tucker for filler. Barbara was absolutely amazing, both in the way she administered the product and her personality in general. First of all, I was a very bad patient--at the last minute, I didn't have anyone to watch my baby and the office was kind enough to let me bring her with me. I was hoping she'd nap in the stroller, but no, she was squirming in my lap by mid-appointment. Barbara was so patient and understanding. Somehow she effortlessly and painlessly injected the filler while I restrained my baby. I felt SO bad, but she was nothing but kind and empathetic. Aside from that, Barbara was extremely skillful with the way she addressed my concerns. I had gone in for under-eye filler, which I had had once before, an instead of placing it directly under my eyes like last time she put it along my cheekbones and cheeks. This had the effect of pushing up and filling the area under my eyes while simultaneously defining my cheekbones and softening the lines along my mouth. I was super impressed--she told me she used to work for a filler company teaching how to use it, so she knows her stuff. It pains me to write this review. I underwent alarplasty (nostril reduction) surgery for assymetric nostrils with Dr. Lee back in March. I saw the procedure listed on her website and that she had responded to Realself questions regarding the procedure, so assumed she had plenty of experience. When I talked to her on a virtual consultation, she felt she could make my nostrils more symmetric and that I'd be a good candidate. When I asked her about risks of scarring, she minimized this by saying "I don't think you'll scar". NO mention of the risks of scarring or any other adverse outcome. She said the surgery is uncomplicated and much of the time would be spent with meticulous measurements beforehand. The call was less than 10 minutes and I had paid for/booked my surgery. On arrival, Dr. Lee looked a bit perplexed and said the assymetry was not as much as she saw on our video call. But she still proceeded with the surgery (of course, since I had already paid). Despite talks during consultation regarding "measurements" she made one simple measurement of the width of my nostrils and made a rough outline, not taking more than 1-2 minutes. The procedure lasted about 30 minutes, most of which was suturing closed- during I had asked her if things were going well and she said they went "better than expected", I felt relieved. When I saw my nose post-op, I was shocked. The nostrils were worse than when I started, with a completely altered shape, she states she "overshot it" but that it'd get much better when the swelling went down. The next day I showed up to discuss the result and she said the case was challenging and suggested I see a craniofacial specialist to get a better result. This is after she finished the procedure so quickly and mentioned things went well! I asked about the scarring again and she REPEATED "I don't think you'll scar". Over the next few weeks I had to haggle Dr. Lee just to get a follow up appointment. She did not check in at all. A few weeks later on a video call I showed her the scar and she said "there's always going to be a scar any time you cut the skin". I was infuriated. She had minimized the risk of scarring TWICE to me, and now backtracked and made me feel stupid for expecting an unnoticeable scar. 3 months later, I still have a visible scar under my nostril and my assymetry is much worse than before. It has caused me significant distress and anxiety, luckily I am able to wear a mask around during COVID but not wearing one around friends/family has been a nightmare. Given how aggressive she had been with skin removal, it is going to be difficult for me to salvage the situation, per surgeons I have spoken to. They mentioned that this surgery should never have been done. It seems that many of Dr. Lee's reviews are for fillers/Botox and eyelid surgeries. If you're looking for other procedures, be careful and do your research. It is not worth saving money for something that may cause lifelong regret. read more

I'd always known that saggy eyelids were going to be an issue in my life because they run in my family as a common effect of aging. My own eyelid situation was expedited when I had an accident and broke my nose, causing my eyes to swell up for several weeks. After the swelling went down, the drooping skin over my eyes was worse than ever, and I went to Dr. Lily Lee to see what my options were. I had a blepharoplasty with her to remove the excess skin and tighten the area over the eye and I could not be happier with the results. The procedure was done in her office with local anesthesia and a mild sedative. This might sound crazy because I was having my eyelids cut, but the procedure was overall kind of relaxing and painless. When I got home, I was really impressed by the care that Dr. Lee put into the stitches she'd placed; my scarring has been minimal (and I'm very pale, I typically scar dramatically). I cannot recommend Dr. Lee highly enough as a plastic surgeon who listens to your needs, talks you through what the entire process will be, goes the extra mile to make sure patients are comfortable, and takes so much pride in the aesthetic outcomes she provides to her patients. I don't even know where to begin with how much I love Dr. Lee & her team (we're not on a first name basis yet but I have a feeling we will get there soon). Let me tell you, I'm SO glad my optometrist recommended me to Dr. Lee when I told her I wanted to get Blepharoplasty done. My optometrist had attended Dr. Lee's lectures before and knew she was a top surgeon known for everything pertaining to eyes. With that in mind, I actually went to a consult elsewhere first (not to be named...), and did not feel in tune, at all, with that doctor. So when I came to Dr. Lee next, I kind of had a benchmark to compare it to. So began our initial consult. IMMEDIATELY, I loved Dr. Lee's energy. She came in with Ashley, who is also brilliant gorgeous and fabulous, and they both sat me down to discuss my expectations, wishes, and worries. Dr. Lee then analyzed my eyes, told me a lot about general standards of beauty symmetry, how mine can be improved, and all the nuts & bolts of Blepharoplasty. She's SUPER nice and approachable, and truly CARED about what I had to say (the other doctor literally felt like I was just "another potential patient" with the same old list of boring questions). From that consult I knew I found the one. I got scheduled 2 weeks after that for the surgery. During the procedure, I was fully awake and aside from the initial poke of the anesthesia needle, the rest was a breeze. Dr. Lee took a lot of time during the measurement to ensure I loved the placement of the crease, and 2 hours later, it was done. I want to also emphasize here the amazing difference in her approach vs. countless other methods I've seen --- so Dr. Lee actually uses a special suturing method that threads a single thread along the entirety of the crease. All the other people's stitches I've seen look more like tiny, but separate, stamps across the lids. Her method requires more meticulous execution and the results are SO SMOOTH AND AMAZING. From other people's before and after, the crease line is always somewhat inconsistent, ends up not being parallel across the eye, and omg worst of all, one crease will be much different than the other (some deviation is natural, but some on Youtube I'm like girrrrlllll that looks...no comment *ahem*). But with Dr. Lee, not to sound indirectly conceited, but they turned out phenomenal. So smooth, so lavish, so creamy, and ooo la la so natural and I feel like a new man. The key with Dr. Lee is that I still look like myself, but a better more improved version. These days, with technology and the dissipating stigma towards plastic surgery, and to that I say, WHY THE HELL NOT right. What's the difference vs. getting braces? The concept is the same. Confidence is hard to gain and if you can buy it? Bring it on! It's been 2 weeks post op and everyday my eyes are getting better and better --- I can't wait to see what they look like in a month, as well as the final result in 6 months. Dr. Lee is a kind, sweet, caring and beautiful doctor. I went to see her yesterday with concerns about slightly aging eyes and smile lines, and after much internet research I thought I knew exactly what I wanted. During my consultation, she made her recommendations of what fillers to use and where and explained why each would be most favorable for each area. I trusted her completely, even though to be honest I was extremely nervous and it was my first time. The day after, I have a tiny itty bit of swelling and even with that I feel that I look amazing!!! This is very interesting, same day 1 star and 5 stars. I have been trying to get my procedure done and have been trying to work with Dr.Lee 's office staff, and my experience is not a positive one. I have filled out paper work in person, and on the day when I was to have my procedure, they called and canceled my appointment. Their excuse was the doctors was not in office. I rescheduled, and when I showed up for my appointment they did not have any of paper work. I have not submitted the paperwork again. After reading the post below about Tiffany I would not be surprised if she was the one who handled my items. I work in costumer service, and it is my goal to make every client happy, this seems not to apply at this place. I have chosen to proceed with another doctor. I first met Dr. Lee July 5, 2017. I had heard wonderful recommendations and really looked forward to my appointment for a Volbella procedure to plump my lips. I was concerned that they would look like the proverbial bee sting and accepted that as part of the process. Not only did that not happen but my lips look amazing. I approached Dr. Lily Lee in November 2015 for a consult on Eye-Lid surgery. I had contemplated the surgery for almost two years for three reasons: a. Droopy left eye-lid, b. After 5-6 hours at the desk computer, the lid was heavier impairing my vision and creating for headaches with severe pulsing on the left temple c.
