Michaels - My all-time favorite restaurant in Little Italy, NY. Framing the artwork was expensive but I'm very happy with the outcome.

The staff I dealt with were very helpful and friendly if they could be found. On multiple occasions I had to walk from one end of the store to the front counter to ask for someone to help me. The store is large and has just about everything you could need for your arts and crafts projects. But again, staffing seems to be an issue here. I can't say how pricing is here as other arts stores are not nearby especially for specialty framing. Even with the "special 70% off" pricing, with some add-ons like better glass and inside decorations, my 9x12 artwork framing was $200. Not cheap. Took a few weeks to have completed. But I'm happy. This Michael's also does UPS drop off, I believe. And they have balloons. If you have some patience and can deal with some not so great or missing staff, I'd make the trip.

I didn't understand why. I said, "Okay, I'll buy it online" and waited for you to pick and pack it. The manager then jumped into the conversation and told me I'd have to wait an hour or more because she didn't have time to process the order. When I waited for the checkout, the product was in the same place I'd left it. She told me it wasn't ready yet, but then she told another employee that all that was left was to print the label because the product was there. Then she turned to me and said, "The printer was broken, if you want, you can take it without a receipt." She made me wait out of pleasure. THIS STORE IS HORRIBLE. ( THE EMPLOYERS)

I also like that when a movie comes out in theaters, they have pieces to resemble the new movies. When teenage mutant ninja turtles came out, I went in and found some of those pieces. Very up-to-date on ceramic choices with constant new arrivals. The atmosphere is very relaxing and Apple (the owner) is very sweet and helpful. I love the array of painting tools, stamps, sponges and colors. This place deserves to be recognized. If you're looking to clear your head for a couple hours or enjoy a date night, or a girls/guys night, I highly suggest you try it. I'm not a very creative person, but I surprised myself and my husband with my night light owl piece. I love Create Me!

I made a vase. My wife made a bowl & lid. I accidentally broke a part of my vase off at the top while making it. But Cait gave me a great idea. Why not put roses at that spot? She showed me how to make them. I would have never thought that I could make something like this. 2 weeks later we went back to paint our pieces (a few doors down at a different studio). Even after a few coats, the paint looked dull. Then we went back at a later time to pick our pieces up. WOW!! You can see in the included photos. The firing brings the colors out so vibrant. It was worth every penny for this wonderful experience with such a wonderful staff. Thank you. We look forward to our next visit.

If you've never been to H Mart, make sure you have plenty of time because there's so much to see!…read moreI've visited this location before, and I actually prefer it over the one on Cheltenham Avenue. One thing I love is how fresh everything looks, especially the meat and seafood. They have a huge seafood department in the back with live crabs, a beautiful selection of fresh fish, and they'll even clean your fish for you! The noodle selection is enormous, and don't even get me started on the SPAM! They have so many different varieties, including spicy Korean flavors and jalapeño. I even spotted a Hello Kitty SPAM can!! Now, we know SPAM isn't the healthiest choice, but they sure make it tempting. Today, I stopped in mainly for my Asian snacks and coffee. One of my absolute favorites is the sesame and coconut crackers. They're thin, lightly sweet, a little salty, and perfect with coffee or just as a snack. I absolutely love them! They also have a great selection of 50% off some prepared foods, including japchae, sushi, and other dishes. I picked up the three color seasoned greens made with wild aster, bellflower root, and other vegetables seasoned with garlic, salt, and sesame oil. It was $3.50 and soooo worth it. I also picked up some spicy beef bulgogi. Whew! It was spicy!!! I enjoyed it though. I made some rice to go with everything, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were so good. They have a large tofu and kimchi area!!! Another thing I appreciate is the home section in the back of the store. They have all kinds of pots, pans, griddles, and cooking accessories. There's even a small food market outside the main grocery area, but keep in mind that once you pass the registers, you can't go back into the grocery store without entering again. The store gets very busy, but there's plenty of parking, and I noticed all the registers were open, which definitely helps. Some items are a little pricey, while others are reasonably priced, so it's a good mix. Overall, I really enjoy shopping here. It's clean, well-stocked, and full of interesting foods and products you might not find in your everyday grocery store. My advice? Don't rush! Give yourself time to walk through every aisle, read the labels, discover something new, and enjoy the experience. Some products don't have much English on the packaging, so exploring is part of

Not sure why this HMart isn't on Yelp yet! I've been a customer here for a few years now…read more Compared to the other HMart locations in the area (Cherry Hill, Elkins Park), this is the newest and by far the best stocked. I haven't had any occasion yet where I haven't been able to find what I was looking for, and more! They keep it pretty clean in here too, and checkout is fast. The food court also is pretty diverse, and has a lot of good options. You'll certainly pay a bit of a surcharge, but it is probably the best quality Korean food anywhere nearby. If I had known that this location wasn't on Yelp yet, I would have taken more photos! But alas, all you get is the photo of my kimchi jjigae.

This is the cutest place ever!!!…read more The staff is so friendly, and the store is so well laid out. When you come into the location, we were warmly greeted, we did come in late and we were advised that it was short time frame and may not allow time for completion. My daughter really wanted to do this excursion so we put peddle to the meddle and we powered through lol! We were able to get our cases done and they were amazing and we love them !!! We had so many options and everything we wanted or thought of was there all sorts of colors, charms and plethora of options! I think the price point was excellent for the experience and cannot wait to return! I loved it and so did my daughter !!

I've…read morebeen wanting to go but it never panned out, and I find this location to be more convenient than the center city one. I finally went with my niece, and we had the best creative, affordable day out. PARKING Free and easy, even on a Saturday. We walked in without a reservation and still got our own table. The parking lot was busy, but there is restaurants and an HMart in the plaza. Deko Deko wasn't that busy compared to what the parking made it seem to be. The parking lot is ehh, the location could be better considering it's North Philly, but it's better than center city so I'm not complaining. PRICE Everything is priced by item, not time or size, which makes budgeting simple. My jewelry box was $30 and it came with two cream colors of my choice and unlimited charms (yes, really). Full pricing is listed online, which I really appreciated. EXPERIENCE The space is bright, clean, and beginner-friendly. Ye, one of the staff, was incredibly helpful! He walked us through everything and even gave tips to keep it manageable for someone who is completely new to this. I went with a pink jewelry box and ended up spending about 3 hours on it. I loved every minute of my time. My niece made two phone cases in the same time frame. They supply everything you need and wrap up your piece for a 5-day cure time before you can use it. There's also a small shop, photo booth, and adorable photo wall you'll want to take pics at. TIPS - No reservation needed unless you're with a large group - Great for all ages! Super kid and beginner-friendly - You can bring your own item to decorate but pricing may vary - Photo ops, snacks nearby (H Mart), and an easy walk-in experience OVERALL This is such a gem if you're looking for affordable indoor fun in Philly. Whether you're trying to beat the heat and still want something to do, or go in the winter time. This is a great time! It's relaxing, well-organized, and genuinely joyful. I'm already planning to go back. There was one thing that threw me off. A woman, who wasn't a staff member, wandered in, walked around the crafting tables, and started asking questions directly to me and my niece. It felt a bit invasive, especially because she clearly wasn't part of the experience. I wish staff had stepped in to set clearer boundaries for walk-ins as I'd never just assume I can wander around a studio. For me it's a respect thing.
