Overall, it was a solid experience, but definitely keep in mind this is more of a Thai fusion spot -- not authentic Thai food. Food: - Chiang Mai Chicken & Biscuits(6.5/10). The portion size was perfect and the overall flavor profile was really good. The highlights were definitely the sausage gravy, biscuits, and glazed pork belly. The only thing holding it back were the potatoes, they could've used a bit more seasoning and roasting to elevate the dish. - Green Curry Beef (6/10): I was recovering from a cold and wanted something warm and comforting. Honestly, something about this curry really helped calm my cough. This isn't your traditional green curry, but the flavor was still enjoyable, and they were generous with the amount of beef in the dish. If you're having some Thai cuisine cravings here's the spot. They got soooo many options. Staff were super friendly here and I like that our server explained a little bit about the menu. First thing, the aesthetic of this place is so earthy and posh. The chef himself had brought out the food, which I thought super personal. The pad Thai was good but there was something missing. I would have like if it had some kind of garnish and a bit more flavor. But the crab ragoons were delicious - crispy on the outside. The staff was super kind and let me sample the curry they used on the flatbread. (Very hearty curry). Walking through Tande Thai is akin to an oasis with gorgeous foliage and and fruity drinks. Come here for the tropical vibes at the grandscape! I ate: Fried tofu - I did enjoy this and would get it again. They use their Thai sauce all over Papaya salad was with green papaya, lacking in juicy factor. Add some chunks of orange papaya and this dish can be a slam dunk (your call) Fried rice was great and spicy but the aftertaste was off. Otherwise it was absolutely delicious. (Keep in mind I have low spice tolerance) Spicy margarita has ghost tequila which was a nice spicy kick and was way fruitier than any spicy margarita I've had and I've had a lot. Lychee martini was great, had all the best parts of lychee - sweet, floral, and tarty. They have pro chefs who can also make suggestions on which drinks should pair with which dish. This review is of my lunch experience at Tande Thai. I planned to go to Tande Thai a few weeks ago for happy hour, but didn't make it. I decided to go last week for lunch. After arriving, I was quickly seated. My server Carolyn was very helpful and attentive and seated me outside on the patio. The weather was nice and this was a perfect day for the patio. I wasn't really hungry and decided to get the sweet and spicy wings. The wings were excellent. They were very flavorful and had a great balance of spicy and sweet. The dressing and veggies on the side were also tasty. My server mentioned that they ship fruit and spices from Thailand. I also got the lychee martini. Tande Thai feels like a hidden gem tucked underneath the Grotto at Grandscape. The whole atmosphere transports you straight to Thailand with its tropical vibe, cozy ambiance, and laid-back energy. Came here for brunch with a few girlfriends and sat on their patio to take advantage of the nice weather. They have a large patio, so there's plenty of seating that overlooks the grotto, which is a nice touch. We started off with the mimosa flight, which comes with a bottle and four juices. For apps, we ordered the papaya salad, Thai chicken flatbread, and the Thai lettuce cups. I thought the papaya salad was a bit plain, and didn't have all the traditional ingredients and flavors that a more 'authentic' Thai restaurant would have. The Thai flatbread was also just okay- flavors were decent, but I would've appreciated the shredded carrots being smaller or somewhat cooked. The best app out of the three was the lettuce cups, which came with pork belly and a variety of veggies and tossed in their house lime vinaigrette. The pork belly was sliced thin and had the perfect chew to it, and paired perfectly with the sauce! I would highly recommend this one if you're a fan of pork belly with light, fresh flavors. For my entree, I ordered the pork belly eggs benedict, which was honestly, a bit underwhelming. The pork belly was literally the thinnest piece of meat and looked like a slice of bacon. I was expecting a bit more meat considering it's advertised as pork belly. My friends ordered the panang short rib hash, kai kata, and drunken noodles. Overall, I think the traditional Thai style dishes were tastier than the brunch-y versions of their Thai menu. For dessert, we ordered the baked and bruleed french toast to share, which was very tasty! A great way to finish off the meal. It has a nice airy feel and was opened up as it was a lovely evening. They were busy but we were able to get a table. The service was good and I liked the vibe of the space. It was average noise. The food came out and the presentation was great. The chef came around to check how we were experiencing the food which was a really nice touch. The food was excellent. I've been wanting to come to Tande Thai for the longest time and finally, succeeded. Totally loved it! It is a very beautiful restaurant and the service was fantastic! Our server Sean really took good care of us! And Tuesdays is all day happy hour. I had the Wok-Tossed Brussels Sprouts and the Fried Tofu and both dishes were both yummy! And I love the price point on the call liquors (such as Buffalo Trace and Tito's) at happy hour. And because it's part of The Grotto at Grandscape, that just really adds to the ambiance. Dinner vibes! It was my first time visiting this restaurant. Walking up the vibes are cozy and chic. The outside patio and when you walk in is what grabs your attention. The detail and decor is well put together. FYI. I came with a large group for a birthday. It's a cashless business, and maximum of 3 credit cards for groups of 5 and more. 20% gratuity is added as well. I started off with the crispy prawns for my appetizer and fiery sunset as my cocktail. Let me tell YOU! The prawns were fire! The chili sauce to go with it was the cherry on top! The cocktail was delicious. I also ended with the paradise colada cocktail I wasn't a big fan of. I did like the fiery sunset better. Coming in I'm not the biggest fan of Thai food, but I ended up getting the beef basil fried rice with a side of brussels sprouts. The fried rice has an extreme spice level. In my opinion it wasn't that spicy but I come from a family that uses spices. Might be very spicy to someone. Both dishes were good! This is a place I would come back again because the vibes were excellent, and our server Alexandra was amazing! Very sweet and friendly. This beautiful restaurant tucked in Grandscape is nothing short of serene. Between the ambience of the restaurant itself (indoor & outdoor) and its adjacent location to the modern waterfall, you are immediately transported to Thailand. The GM greeted us at the host stand and was very accommodating in getting us a prime table without a reservation. From there, we ordered a couple drinks - Thai beer and Thai iced tea which were delicious. Accompanied by our drinks was a delicious marinated angus 14oz ribeye with her butter and sides of butternut squash mash and sweet crispy brussel sprouts. Next time we'll be trying more dishes. P.S. Food was pretty mediocre. I ordered the fried tofu which was good. It had a nice spicy kick to it. I also ordered the Curry Fried rice with chicken. It was bland and didn't get a curry taste from it. My friend also ordered the Tom Yum soup. She said it was ok and felt it was different than what she is used to it. Great pick if you love cauliflower. I also ordered a non-alcoholic drink which had boba pearls that was very good and a cocktail. The price point seems too high for both food and drinks considering quality. I'd been wanting to try out brunch here for a while! A bit hard to find and parking is also not the easiest but it's actually below ground level from the Main Street. The dishes were very Thai-inspired and all sounded so good that we probably ordered more than we could handle, which made for great leftovers. The food came out quickly and piping hot! I loved the Thai aromatics and flavors. Our waitress also mentioned that if you dine here you can get into the speakeasy across the way. They don't offer different spice levels which I found odd. The "chef preferred" slice level was not near enough for me. Flavor was good. My wife had the Short Rib. I found it dry and lacking flavor. THE TOFU omg will never stop thinking about this dish, some of the best tofu i've ever had in my life, so so obsessed. Perfect texture crunchy, in an amazing sticky well balanced sauce. This rivals any meat dish, very similar to a general tso's chicken and just perfection. Fried rice with chicken was tasty. I typically stay away from Thai food due to my severe nut allergy but I was at ease here, they seemed to take the allergy very seriously and brought out a separate menu so I can see what meals had certain ingredients that some are allergic to. Was excited to try this place cause of the raving reviews. Once you spot this place you will be taken in by the beautiful decor in the front and throughout the restaurant. We went on a Tuesday and were pleased to find they have happy hour all day on Tuesdays as well as live music. Chicken flat bread - tasty Thai tea - good! Pad See Eww beef - solid Curry Noodles - our party found the noodle choice didn't compliment the sauce Chicken Wings - big size and tasty On that note you're definitely paying upscale price for the area you're in, the food is good but I wouldn't say better than my local Thai restaurants. We were also told there was no upcharge to change proteins (specifically chicken to beef) but on the bill there was $2 extra to change the protein). Also noted that there wasn't any chopsticks for the silverware (guessing you have to specifically ask for them). Their dishes don't come with spice levels like typical Thai places but you can ask for chili oil/sauce/powder on the side. We enjoyed our experience overall cause of ambiance but will probably stick to our local Thai Restaurant. read more

Wow! I love that I get to travel for work and try exploring new places and trying new restaurants! One of the best perks of the job for sure and Tande Thai is one of the places you could go back several times and be able to experience new tastes and culture. From the excellent drink offerings to the wonderful staff and food you cannot go wrong with the choices offered. The atmosphere is inviting and intriguing, the live music adds to this experience if you are fortunate enough to dine at this lovely restaurant. We had a few appetizers the crispy prawns stole the show for me! Perfectly cook and full of flavor, the garnishes not only look beautiful they taste delicious. Definitely try the pickled medley and watermelon radish! The lettuce wraps are also delicious but harder to share with clients and coworkers. I really want to try the pork belly next time I go! Great date night spot. It's got a trendy vibe and relaxed ambience . The restaurant does validate the valet, which is awesome given the parking shortage in Grandscape area. We didn't have reservations, but were able to squeeze in for a 7 PM Friday dinner. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor seating is very pleasant since it's in this underground grotto area. We tried the fresh menu item which was the mango Bronzino and their classic prawn pad Thai and both were good. The Branzino was definitely the highlight of the meal but the pad thai fell short on flavors. The cuisine here is mellow on flavor but I think that because they are a fusion restaurant and catering to varied palettes. Service is pleasant but was very slow. We literally had to walk up to get up and go get our check so we could leave. read more
