In my opinion, it's always worth a few extra minutes to get fresh hot food. Randomly decided to stop by here for lunch and man was I glad that we did. The lady working the register was very nice and helpful with taking our order and giving us some helpful options. The food portions are massive, definitely can be shared by 2 people if you're not that hungry. The onion rings and zucchini fries were very fresh, crunchy, and paired so well with the ranch. The club sandwich was also very tasty but again it was huge I couldn't finish it all. Pricing is very fair and they have a good amount of parking. I really used to love coming here with my family been coming for more than 10 years but recently the quality of the service and food has gone down. I been going here forever before it was Tams and when it was Gus Jr, I feel like the food carried over which is a good thing for the fans of this place. My number one favorite thing here is the Bean and Cheese Burrito. I legit really think this has the best bang for the buck Bean and Cheese Burrito, a regular is $5 and the Jr is I think $3? Don't be fooled by the Jr size because it's still pretty huge. Other places charge like $8 for a simple Bean and Cheese Burrito and it's PUNY. I like that it's drive through. I'm honestly not of fan dining in here. I feel it's too tight like everything is too close together. The service is usually always good. I've had their burger, fries, and two of their salads here (chicken and crispy chicken). The burger was very average. Fries were hot and nicely seasoned but a bit overcooked. The salads were delicious and come with some hot pita bread which was my favorite. The only problem is that if you order a small salad to go, they try to stuff so much food into a tiny container. Some of the chicken fell out and onto the floor when I opened my salad container. Stop being cheap and use a bigger container please. read more

Some friends and I wanted to get some lunch together, one of us suggested Gus jr. Well this place is no longer Gus Jr. It's now Tam's. The menu is basically the same. I remembered that Gus Junior used to have a really good pastrami sandwich, so I went ahead and ordered the sandwich, I'm sorry, but this was not the same sandwich. I remembered let's start with the meat. The meat was over cooked and I don't know what kind of broth they used for the pastrami but whatever it was, was not good, the broth gave the pastrami, a funky smell and taste and it left an orange stain on the paper that it was wrapped in. I've had pastrami sandwiches before. In fact The Hat in Rancho Cucamonga makes a great pastrami sandwich. This was not even close. my wife had the chicken tenders. They were also over cooked hard and stringy. Needless to say we will not be returning to Tams. read more

This is probably the worst place I've encounter when it comes to handling their food mistakes. Basically they will go back and forth with you even if you bring the messed up food and receipt. I asked for a simple request the chili sauce on the side, for an order of chili cheese fries. They added the chili on the side but added it on the fries too. I just got charged 16.36 for just a large chilli cheese fries and a large drink. When the large chilli cheese fries are 9 something and drinks are 2 dollars for ANY SIZE.
