I purchased a 2023 GMC Acadia from this dealership and it been the worst experience I've had and with this being my first time actually buying a car on my own I'm very disappointed! My salesperson is as inexperienced as I am! I got the housing for key fobs with no programming done on site, so when I go to certified locksmith to get them programmed I found out that they gave me fob shells with no motherboard in them so they can't actually be programmed! The service department is decent, and the reps I've dealt with have always been professional. I understand that dealerships typically charge more for maintenance than a independent shops. However, I was genuinely taken aback when Tameron quoted me $100 to replace a cabin air filter! That price is excessive considering you can buy the exact same filter for about $8 on online and replace it yourself in under five minutes. Marking up an $8 part by over 1000% in my opinion is completely unreasonable and unethical. This is why I only use the dealership while the car is under the free maintenance program. Customer Beware: There have been several instances where service department staff recommend services that have already been provided at the location. My last experience has forced me to part ways with ANY service there. I came in for an express oil change (2 hour wait). Check engine light came on, so oil level was checked and it was discovered that the oil was at 1/2 inch on dipstick with sludge stuck to dipstick. My question is if I just received an oil change, where did the oil go? Service department was contacted and I was advised that I needed a catalytic converter. last week I schedule a 11am appointment over the phone for an oil change and back brakes.I arrived at 11:15am and asked if they still accept competitors coupons. I was told "sometimes." I asked several more questions(about the services and charges) and I could tell the service tech was getting agitated. I was never asked if i was staying or leaving however i had a ride awaiting from me. As of 330pm i hadn't heard anything so I decided to call for a status of my car I was placed on hold and someone came back to the phone and told me i would be ready shortly. I arrived at 445pm( the service dept close at 5pm) to pick up my car and I was told my car was still on the rack and wasn't ready and to wait in the lobby ( i was the only person waiting in the lobby from the service ). My car wasn't ready till 521pm( 6 hours later). Well, 8 minutes later at 529pm, while on I-459 in the pouring rain, my tire pressure light came on so I had to pull over in the rain and I got soaking wet to make sure didn't have a flat. What's really going on with Tameron's service department?!!!! This the second incident I've encounter with their service department .What's the purpose of paying dealership charges when you get Walmart auto service department service and customer service. I purchased a 2014 Toyota Highlander, and after they said it went through their "121 Inspection", as soon as I got it home, I heard a vibration/humming noise in the transmission; the front seat adjustment panel is coming a part; the rear tailgate is not functioning properly. If you're buying a new car the experience depends more on your individual situation than it does on the dealership. If you're credit is good and you're shopping for something you can afford then you'll have an easy time getting what you want anywhere and Tameron Honda is no different. It's just a basic dealership that sells Hondas. If you need one there's no real reason not to buy it here. Nothing particularly outstanding about them, but nothing terrible about the sales department either. So go get a new Honda if you want one. It'll be fine. That being said, avoid the service department here at all costs. They are inefficient. They are slow. They take appointments and routinely blow it when it comes to honoring those times or valuing yours. They are disorganized. They are borderline rude and apathetic at best when it comes to customer service. They are among the most expensive service departments of any Honda dealers with which I've ever dealt. If you make it in and out of here in a timely fashion with your service done correctly then consider yourself lucky. I almost never leave negative reviews. I have good experiences almost everywhere that I go. I do not have unrealistic expectations of the world or more specifically of car dealerships. Shit happens. Sometimes, in some places, it happens all the time. This is one of those places. Buy the car here if they've got what you're looking for, but for the love of God take it someplace else for service and save yourself a lot of trouble. read more

$100 oil change is by far the highest I've paid in my life. And the quoted time of 90 minutes was far surpassed at 3 hours and counting. My service attendant was very polite and apologetic and informative. I did not appreciate that the mechanic left my heater blasting at 81. The dash computer was not reset. It still showed an outdated service code. My three kids raided their snack bar during our time there. We stayed so long they got breakfast Shipley donuts and Jimmy John's sandwiches for lunch. And of course trail mix, Doritos, and PB crackers in between. They do have a kids room with a dedicated TV for cartoons so my 3 hours of being trapped there were not too awful. So essentially they show a good face but execute sloppy work in the back end. I will have to go back for some recalls but I will be taking their complimentary shuttle this time around. One item I would add that would be a nice touch are complimentary carwashes. read more

I didn't want to write this review. But here we are... First of all...DO NOT DEAL WITH TRENTON DAVIS!!!! HE WAS VERY UNPLEASANT! First, I showed him the car on their website that I wanted to look at and test drive...He brought back a 2025 HR-V, but not the one I wanted to look at. Then, when I told him that this wasn't the car, he proceeded to say, "Well, let's just drive this one to see if you like it." I told him I know I like it, but I want to see the one I asked about. I parked it, and he got out, and I noticed a shift in his attitude...I gave him grace...because it had been a long day, and everybody would have rather been somewhere else, I'm sure. I test drove the SUV, I liked it, so I was ready to do some paperwork...fast forward...when my partner came to assist me in this process, his demeanor changed to the point my son noticed it. We didnt want to cause a disturbance, so we walked out and left the dealership to kinda cool off and gathered ourself. It may have appeared that we walked away because of the price, but it was to think and gather my thoughts and calm down. We came back, to get the car because it was a good deal. Each time, I asked him something he would give me quick unconcerned answers... he was just sitting back on his phone. Actually, no one asked us was we ok, or acted concerned. He over talked me, when I was asking him something, and all he was saying is what time can you come back tomorrow, what time would be best for you to come back..... Fast forward again... Ethan, was suppose to deliver the car, he didn't. I really wished he did..but Trenton did. When he drove up to my home, he asked where you want.me to park it? I told him in the driveway.. which its only one place you can clearly see to park it...unless he was going to leave it in the street.. when drove the car in the drive way..he drive into my flower bush! He hand me keys , and I said thank you. He walked to the car that was driving him back. Saving the Best for last.... Ethan was good...He got a smile out of me...lol Francisco Lopez was really Great!!! I wish he was my salesman!! He had a genuine conversation. He made me feel like he was concerned. Honda notified me that my 2019 Honda CR-V is recalled with a faulty fuel pump. Made the appointment at Tameron, took it in, had them rotate the tires, replace the air and cabin filter. They accidentally changed the oil in it too and didn't charge me. Great! After the replacement, the CRV wouldn't start easily. It has been about a month since the fuel pump replacement and it wouldn't start at all. It left me stranded. Took almost 2 hours to get a tow truck, of course during one of the hottest days of the year. Towed it to Freeway Honda which was closest dealership. Turns out, when Tameron installed the fuel pump, they broke the O-Ring, which in turn caused the fuel pump to fail. Freeway Honda fixed it ( supposedly). Please do not take your car to Tameron.... I am now out the cost of the tow. read more

I have mixed emotions for this dealership. I called and spoke to Kelsy or Kaylee (Internet sales person) who spoke to manager Shaun to see if they had the car I was looking for prior to making the drive over, as I was not shopping. They had the car. When I arrived they tried to sell me a used car as a new one, and then finally advised me that they did not have the car that I called about. I had verified by stock# that they had it. The entire experience was a fiasco and I was shocked as it was my first experience with the great "Honda" dealer. My daughter had purchased her first CRV last year from Autonation Honda and was convinced that the car saved her life on XMAS EVE 2023 during a head on collision in AL. So I went to pick her up the exact same car but a 2024 this time while she was getting a CAT scan. The plan was to be back at the hospital within 3 hours. That is why I had called ahead of time. I was in such a state at the time and did not read the reviews which is an absolute no no for a yelper. Needless to say, THIS dealership with Shaun leading the way, made it right! They found me the same car and a better than base model, the one I came for. They even discounted the car to make it almost the same price we would have paid for the base model. It worked out in the end and they gave many apologies!! This was all bad that got worse and then worked out for the better. I have to say, my experience with Tameron Honda was less than stellar. I needed to have my car towed there to have the transmission replaced. My warranty company let me know that the transmission should still be covered by the Honda factory warranty, but when I called and spoke to a service rep and try to facilitate having my car taken there, he was adamant that my factory warranty no longer covered my transmission. This caused a couple days of back-and-forth with my other warranty company and they ended up having to call Tameron Honda and make them realize my factory warranty still covered it. A manager called me and apologized for the confusion, and told me that the person that told me my warranty wasn't going to cover it was "new." I get the car towed there and they let me know that the part was going to have to be ordered from out of state, which is fine. That's understandable. As soon as the part came in, they did finish it quickly. I picked up my car, took it home and thought that was it. I didn't need to get in the trunk that day, but when I got into it a couple days later, I noticed the part featured in the photo just sitting in my trunk. I called Wade back and sent him a picture of the part and he asked me to bring it all the way back to the dealership so that they could put it back on. I asked him if they would mind cleaning my car or washing it or something in exchange for the inconvenience, but he didn't even reply to me, and instead handed my boyfriend (who took the car up there) a coupon for a few dollars off an oil change if I took it all the way back there again. Then a couple days later, my battery was dead on my car. Never had an issue with the battery before and had to pay to have it replaced, so I am assuming they left something on and killed my battery for me. Before the issues with the part I found in my trunk and the dead battery, Wade had asked me to make sure I leave him a positive review on a survey that I would be sent, but after all that stuff happened, I never got a survey. Desperately needed a car so reached out about a decently priced used toyota. Spoke and set an appointment with Alexandria. Havong noted the age/mileage I made it a point to ask about a warranty before arriving as I figured one wouldnt be offered (although I wanted to purchase it if possible).. However, being in sales myself AND having already dealt with shady car salesmen before, I wanted to see if they would give me a runaround. I repeatedly asked if the particular car was available for a warranty and was met with "We offer warranties and my manager will go over that with you" (Note: For those unaware, this usually means that it's not offered on the specific item you're actually asking about. the Manager's job is to act surprised and keep you from being upset/leaving as they explain that "There must have been a mix up in communication"), even after clarifying that I was using Uber for transportation and would not appreciate having that money wasted and asking to speak to said manager over the phone to confirm, she stood firm and flat out stopped responding once I asked about calling (and was already en route). I arrived minutes later and never saw Alexandria OR the mythical manager, but was instead greeted by an entirely different representative (who actually seemed decent enough) and was able to confirm in less than 3 minutes that no warranty was offered on the vehicle. I let him know that had I not been lied to/purposefully misled I would still have been open to purchasing the vehicle, then promptly walked out with no intention to ever purchase anything from this particular dealership. TLDR; Beware of shady business practices (I.E. "The old bait and switch"). I as a general rule do not spend money with ANY organization that is willing to lie to and mislead potential customers in an effort to get foot traffic (a common sales principal taught in many sales classes btw), as it tends to lead to them cutting corners/lying elsewhere in the process as well. I suggest going around the corner as I spent all day at other dealerships along highway 150 and although I did not purchase from them at that moment, in the hours I spent at each respective location, I found nothing nearly as blatant as I did within minutes of walking into this Honda dealership. read more

Friday, I was helping my daughter through her first car purchase on her own. she had previously test driven the car, they appraised her trade and numbers were pretty well on their way to being set. When we arrived on Friday, to make the purchase, they inflated the price of the car (a used car) citing the recent imposed tariffs by Trump increased the price of the car. incredibly disheartened by this tactic as tariffs have nothing to do with used inventory or assets already owned by the dealership. When we got there we told Danny we were only interested in looking at that one specific vehicle. He told us to come outside and he showed us a Honda. We thought this was odd, but told him we weren't interested and went back inside. After a long wait the manager, Evan, came over and told us the car wasn't there and would be arriving within a week. I really wish I had read these reviews before taking my car to the body shop at the dealership. They originally quoted a two week turnaround to replace two of the doors after a collision. Instead, it took seven weeks which cost me hundreds of dollars in rental car fees. (I do have rental coverage through my insurance, but they kept the car so long it exceeded the maximum benefit.) More than the delay, they were not transparent in keeping me in the loop of what was going on. While they did call multiple times a week to "update me," every time they called they gave me false promises of "your car may be ready tomorrow or the next day." This went on for three weeks while they waited on a side mirror that they failed to order initially. Not impressed with their customer service or their work. Cannot recommend. read more

We agreed on a price shook hands and then a smart ass comes out. 30 minutes later, saying that I didn't shake your hand and wanted to charge us $500 more than what was agreed upon. I have never had such a luxurious oil change experience in my life. First, I made an appointment online, which is awesome because it gives a clearly projected wait time based on their schedule for that day. When I arrived, I didn't even have to get out of my car. Jason, my representative for the day, came up to my window, asked me to fill out a form since I was a first-time visitor, and directed me to the nicest vehicle service waiting room I've ever seen. The waiting room had bistro-style seating, a television, free coffee, donuts, snacks, and CHICK FIL A BREAKFAST!! I mean come on--that would've cost me at least $10 if I were to buy it on my own, so the $60 oil change was already knocked down to $50 in my book. Savings! Bargains! Value! Then, to top it all off? My oil change was done in exactly the time projected on my appointment confirmation. I was kinda sad, because I wanted to stay a while longer...if you're wondering why, please see paragraph above. Jason checked me out quickly and efficiently, and then gave me a coupon for a $19 oil change to thank me for being a first time guest. They will rip you off. I waited in the lobby for 2.5 hours just to get a phone call, they could have easily come and spoke to me face to face. They were not clear about the part cost vs the service fee when I asked originally. After I approved the service, I was shocked to see the service fee for a new battery and starter was $850. SERVICE DEPT: I took my 2007 Honda Accord for an oil change & tire rotation. My technician, Jeff, listed a number of recommended repairs on my receipt & told me my battery was going bad. The total of "recommended" repairs exceeded $5,000. He also stated I had an oil leak from the oil pump. My guy took my car to where we had purchased the battery less than a year ago and it was fine as were the other items he recommended repairing. I'll never go back there. read more

He actually took me back to the shop floor, and let me talk to the foreman whom was working on my car. The foreman showed me the leak In my seal cover. What place would is kind enough to take the time to take customers onto the shop floor to do this? I can't think of one. Chevy never did. Honda customer for life. While I was waiting I got to be fed by the dealership, which was great since I had no car to get around. So it started with me taking my moms car (2018 civic si) for a drive about half way to my destination i started noticing a very loud clicking noice from the back. Driver side tire area. I tried several times to diagnose it my self and wasn't able to. I told my mom the best thing we could do is bring it to Honda and have them check it out. We got there about 11am. We received a call at about 5ish pm (same day) from Jason in the service department. Jason starts telling my mom what the tech found and right away i could tell it was total bullshit (not Jason's fault he's just relating the message.) so i take the phone and t him I'd like to come in and talk to the guy who did the Diagnosis he said that was fine. I get there and the guy comes and repeats the same lie to me. I ask him if he could get the car up on the lift and show me right away. After he got the car up on the lift Jason escorted me back there he proceeds to tell me that the aftermarket coil spring collapsed and is somehow causing the sound. (Car is riding at normal height same as passenger side which would tell about with a brain it's not the spring) so i clearly tells him it's not the spring i know it's not it's the shock. He assures me it's not the shock and that replacing all of the springs back to factory and paying him 6 hours labor would fix the problem. I told him take my car down I'll put the stock ones back on myself and see if it fixed it. So the next morning i take the car to my shop jack it up take the tire off. First thing i did was grab the shock firmly and shake it and it's noticeable very very loose. I proceed to take the wheel well liner off and find that one screw it's snapped in half and the other is backed out about half way. (Keep in mind none of the aftermarket parts are shocks, the shocks are OEM). So i fixed the problem with 2 new screws. In the end it took me 4:36 seconds to diagnose and 30 min to fix. Which tells me 1. Either this tech has no clue what he's doing. 2. This tech was trying to hustle my mom out of well over $900 (because the spring replacement wouldn't have fixed the problem.) Also keep in mind over the last 6 months I've brought 2 cars from tameron Honda 2017 Honda Accord and a new 2019 Honda Accord. Service advisors won't read the notes on your appointment until after they have the car! They will ask you if you ordered parts for the service you scheduled with them weeks ago.
