I ordered the "1-1-1," which comes with a street taco, a crunchy taco, and a tamale. I did Birria on the crunchy taco, steak on the street taco, and a pork tamale. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The tacos were well seasoned with great texture, and the pork tamale was tender and delicious. Service was quick, the food was out in good time, and it made for a great casual lunch. This unassuming strip mall restaurant served up the tastiest food we have had in a long while! Flowing the advice we got from TikTok, we each ordered a fried tamale, covered in mozzarella and nacho cheese, pico, and sour cream. Omg. Could have eaten three more. Crispy, flavorful, so good. We also got the nachos - made with nacho cheese Doritos!!!! - and four street tacos. The kiddo had the chicken quesadilla and ate it all, which is saying a lot. The fried tamale was awesome and the Birria taco was really really good had lots of meat on it very tasty. They have some hot sauces that will burn you to the end and roasted jalapeño peppers whole so you really like it hot those peppers are for you. It's on the other side of town from me and it takes me about 15 minutes to get there but it's worth the trip, but they're not open on Sundays and on certain days of the week, they close at three and don't open back up. Check the hours it's worth the trip. read more

Date of check in 4/13/23 I may have found the best nachos in Tulsa. They were game day, championship delicious. I had a small order with the ground beef. Rich flavorful and filling. Tamale Boyz has added a salsa bar with some competition winning flavors. The trophies are displayed to prove it. I don't know of any other Tulsa restaurant that can make the claim, that their salsas and sauces have actually won recognition. You really need to try the nachos and the salsas. We went in just to taste a tamale here. Front man SLADE was so very effective in telling us they have samples! Omg! How great was that! We had one beef, one chicken, one cheese and one jalapeño. Everyone was delis'. Our favorites were of course beef and pork. The masa is so dang flavorful. We brought 1/2 dozen of each and put into freezer. We placed our Christmas Eve order, too. Be careful of salsa's! Some will melt the coating off your teeth! SLADE is such a great little employee and I told Able, his boss, if I was still work in, I'd steal him away. Super young man! It was date night. We had to pick a place to get food. We've never heard of this place but my pregnancy cravings lead me to tamales. We went through the drive thru and the guy asked if this was our first time here. We told him yes and he asked us to leave a review if we enjoyed the food. . . AND THAT'S WHY I'M HERE. The food was amazinggggg. We ordered a dozen tamales, some street tacos, and a couple of barria tacos. It was delicious. The flavors were great. The portions were perfect. The customer service exceeded my expectations. The food was fresh. And I was too hungry to get a picture, but the presentation was on point too (even for the drive thru). First time coming here and i must say I'm impressed! I didn't know what I was going to be in for with a new place but it was awesome. The selection on the menu was nice as there was several different options to choose from including taco's, chimichangas, burritos, nachos, loaded fries, birria tacos and quesadillas. I got the tamale plate which comes with 2 tamales, rice and beans. The tamales come in ground beef, chicken, pork and rajas. They are good size tamales as well with adequate seasoning and good corn taste on the shell. The rice and beans were good and fresh as well. I will probably get the birria tacos next as they looked very delicious. The only down side is the hours. I wish they were open on weekends or week nights as its only possible to eat here for lunch on week days the hours are Monday thru Friday 10:30am to 3:00pm.
