I recommend to booking an initial appointment to meet with Vi who will give you a run-through of the services they provide for your wedding. We talked over our floral inspiration for our reception decor, as well as trying on wedding dresses that can be bought or rented. They will alter your dress and dry clean it for you before the big day. I probably visited this shop a minimum of 10 times. I had my first dress fitting here. They had so many different dresses. I tried on at least 6 or 7 on my first fitting. I ended up going with one that I knew was the one. The rental price for it was very reasonable which came with the alteration, dry cleaning, and a veil as well. My bridesmaids and flower girl also did their fittings here as well and love the selection of dresses they had. I even got to rent a second dress for our reception so I could be more comfortable. The second dress was basically an evening gown, but the color and design is very modern and complemented most body types. I did not diet or work out for our wedding and the dress looked incredible on me. Since I am only 5'0 tall, most of the dresses had fit my height (with heels) which I am incredibly thankful for. As for the florals, we did very simple florals. Our wedding is dusty blue, cream, and a hint of gold so the Hollywood Bridal team did an amazing job putting together the bouquets, centerpieces, and the split arch for our reception entrance. The bouquets are absolutely stunning. It included the flowers I love and the exact color palette I wanted. Overall great experience with Hollywood Bridal. We appreciate getting our florals and wedding rentals from here. I received so many lovely compliments on my wedding dress as well as bridesmaids dresses. Not to mention, my flower girl was in love with her dress. We couldn't have asked for such a wonderful and memorable night, all thanks to Hollywood Bridal. During my appointment, Hannah determined that I needed to go up in size and told me that the correct dress needed to be ordered for me. I was told I would be notified when my dress arrived. I did not leave the store with my wedding dress. I never received an arrival notification, but because I had already scheduled my alterations appointment based on when the dress was expected, I called the store beforehand to confirm that it was there. After sitting on hold for approximately 30 minutes, I was shocked when I was told their system showed that I had taken the dress home on the same day I purchased it. I absolutely did not. The manager actually asked me, "Did you not leave with the dress?" No. I did not. I told her they are welcome to check their security cameras because I did not walk out of that store carrying my wedding dress. At this point, the store appears to have no idea where my dress is or what happened with the order that was supposed to be placed for me. What makes this even more frustrating is the lack of follow-through. The manager told me she would investigate and call me back by the end of the day yesterday. She never called. It is now 3:38 PM the following day, and I still have not received an update. This isn't a casual purchase. This is my wedding dress. My wedding is October 11, and I should already be moving forward with alterations. Instead, I'm having to chase down David's Bridal just to determine whether my dress was ever properly ordered and where it is. I understand that mistakes happen. What I don't understand is the lack of urgency after discovering a discrepancy this serious. If your records incorrectly show that a bride took home a wedding gown she never received, that should warrant immediate investigation and communication, not leaving her waiting for a promised phone call that never comes. I need David's Bridal to take responsibility for this situation, determine exactly what happened to my dress, and provide an immediate solution that guarantees I receive the correct gown with enough time to have it professionally altered before October 11. The lead time for a tailor is about 3 weeks, that's the only down-side... so it is best if you plan ahead of time before your actual wedding date. Located in downtown Santa Ana so there is street parking, but there is a small lot behind the building with only 5-6 spots.
