Restaurant is less than 2 miles from where I stay and each time I go there for a quick bite to eat, they never disappoint. It's always clean and the staff is always ensuring the customers needs are met. The food is always freshly prepared when you place your order. My favorite is their fried Pork chop sandwich and their boudin balls they are always seasoned to perfection. Also, a fan favorite for my wife is their hamburgers. We tried a bunch of menu items here. And everything overall was okay. The fish stood out as the best thing for me from what I tried. It was seasoned well and fried to perfection. The Mac and cheese bites were decent. The onion rings were decent. The kool aid was very good. The one thing that I wasn't a fan of was the pricing for the wings. The wing price is specific to plain on the menu. You're charged every time you add any flavor. So I basically paid maybe 30.00 for 20 wings when I picked to have them in 3 different flavors. I don't know why this is this way. It's a little out of the way this location. I'm not sure I would go back because it's so many other places with similar food items and they don't charge extra for a wing flavor The restaurant was super clean and open spaced. LITERALLY seasoned to perfection. The first time I tried this place, I had a salmon salad. It was so big, I ate on it for 3 days. Never found a place that did wings AND shrimp as a combo. Like whet!!! I swear...I'm in a food coma. She asked me to check my order and I told her right then "this right here is right". Very clean and pleasant establishment. Great flavorful food. The salmon salad is so good. Made from fresh ingredient and is a large portion. My friend had the catfish and really enjoyed it. The side salad was a nice size and a great addition to any meal. The staff was friendly and brought out our food quickly as we were part of a large party. Great vibes. They have a small stage and have karaoke on some nights. I highly recommend giving them a try. read more

I placed the order on August 9/25 I know on Saturday night can be busy ordered around 8:53 PM. I waited for like an hour and my Dasher told me that someone else picked up my order and I never my order and whoever works there needs to know how to read correctly or pass out the order correctly because this doesn't make any sense at all for the error . I've been buying food from the when had Mobile food truck in Fresno, I am very upset about it. Take the Wheel has been my spot for the past 6 years when it was just a yellow food truck off of 521. To see the growth and prosperity for the Orr's and their establishment is so fulfilling. Archana knew when I was calling and my order by heart. I did pitas on Wednesdays, salads on Thursdays and the 2 for $5 fish sandwiches on Fridays and I could never resist the banana pudding!!! So very relieved that all the construction, after almost 3 years, has been completed. hats off to the Orr family for your steadfastness and perseverance. I went to 15054 Highway 6 location which is in a strip mall. It is difficult to get to front door due to construction in the parking lot, but worth it. It seemed that most people were doing takeout like I did, although the phone number listed did not work for me. There were may menu options available, but I could not get the QR code at my table to work. They serve swai fish, chicken wings, shrimp in sandwiches, pita and baskets. Some options are available grilled or fried. Anyway I had 6 buffalo hot wings and 6 fried shrimp with potato salad side. Added peach cobbler dessert. My son got plain wings and fries.The wings were pretty good, but potato salad although tasty was on runny side. Shrimp were good size and fried right. Portion size was large enough for 2 1/2 meals. Counter service was friendly and ranch dressing tasted homemade. Peach cobbler had too much bread and not enough peaches for me. read more

Every time I order from here the food is freshly prepared and delicious. It's a quaint lil spot and has a tv for you to enjoy while waiting on your food. It's always clean. I tried "Take The Wheel Mobile Restaurant" for the first time today. I pass the truck everyday and finally stopped for lunch. Several items looked delicious but the owner helped me narrow it down to the shrimp and wing basket. Being a super frugal person I wasn't excited about spending $12 (+.99 credit card fee) for a few shrimp and wings. Once my food was finished it was brought to my car and oh...my...goodness!!! It's worth price!!! I got 6 HUGE shrimp and 6 wings. I chose to do half spicy lemon pepper and half original. It also came with fries. Went there today to try them out after someone on another forum was clowned after they made a posting about the owners not giving them extra condiments for free when there is a sign stating there would be a charge for extra. I had the Catfish and Shrimp Basket. The fish was fried somewhere between done and fried Hard. Some of y'all know what I a mean. Well seasoned not salty. Only thing I would say is that I am not a fan of Swai, Bassa. When I want catfish I want real catfish. But again I don't want to take away from the fact that these people can cook. That's just my preference. The Shrimp were huge and on point and for $9.50 I had 5 shrimp and 3 fish fillets. The boudain balls tasted like real boudain so they either made it themselves or went to someone that did. Ill be back. read more

I accidentally came across this food truck, and was pleasantly surprised. The fish is cooked and seasoned to perfection! The fries aren't too special. The wings are pretty basic as well. I was extremely pleased with my visit. Someone else's review said look for the lights, I did, and it helped me out. The lady who took my order was extremely courteous and polite. I ordered the catfish and shrimp basket, the total was $9.50. She told me I could wait in my car and she would bring it. After about ten minutes I received my food. The food was hot and yummy. We went based on a nextdoor compliment we saw about gyros, and I'm a sucker for a good gyro! We got a gyro fully dressed, burger with onion rings and wings with fries. They were all delicious! They serve you the red salsa, but you can ask for the green. The kind that gives you heart burn for hours. Worth it. Both salsa were great, chips were fresh. We ordered house margaritas, and those were also very good. Pricing was average. For food we ordered the parrillada El Malecon. Mixed beef and chicken, with ribs and quail. Here's where things went a little rough. We ordered the "for two" but the entire was still in a " for one" portion. 3 pieces of steak, 3 chicken, one quail 2 rib portions. Definitely seemed off. The manager came by, and we discussed. On THEIR menu, the double portion is only 4 strips of steak, 4 of chicken, still only one quail, and two rib portions. The reasoning we were given is that people don't seem to like the quail. First, nothing about this is "for two." For 45.99 this isn't it. The chicken and beef were good, the quail was not seasoned well unfortunately, and the ribs were over sauced with a cheap syrupy sauce. Overall food was a no. But here's where I also have to give credit. They stuck with their defense, and while we discussed someone brought a plate of chicken and beef. While we weren't going to ask for anything, we do appreciate their thoughtfulness and speedy resolution. Maybe they knew it was coming , or maybe they just jumped ahead to make it work. Either way, we appreciated that effort. Overall, service was great, food was 50/50. Wouldn't do the parrilladas again, but would try other menu items.

Which I knew it would be. It's definitely a fun party atmosphere. Seating is mostly inside but they do have a smallish patio outside. Which they really should work on. Half the tables outside did not have any chairs. On a nice day, it's a place to double customers. Food- I got the Basic AF breakfast which was pretty tasty and you get to sample a good amount. Comes with 4 small pancakes, eggs your way, 1 meat choice, and potatoes. The potatoes surprised me, as they look so unassuming but are very tasty. If in the area would not mind returning.

Another employee from the bar area also spoke with me and was very kind. She explained that she had not bagged the order. When the manager got on the phone, I explained that I had already discussed the situation with two employees. His response was, "This is the first time I'm hearing about this. You're too far away, so I don't have anyone to drive the gravy to you. I can't give you the gravy. What would you like me to do?" The tone came across as annoyed and dismissive. I let him know that I was already planning to dispute the missing item through Uber Eats, but that I was calling because I wanted to understand why this issue keeps occurring. There was no offer for me to pick up the missing gravy or any meaningful attempt to resolve the situation beyond saying he would speak with the staff. What surprised me most was the contrast between the helpfulness of the employees and the manager's attitude. The staff members were courteous and understanding, while the manager seemed to assume I was exaggerating or making up the issue. Unfortunately, because of both the repeated order mistakes and the poor customer service from management, I won't be ordering from here again.
