Boutte's BBQ never disappoints!!! I had the rib plate with beans and potato salad, plus a beef sausage sandwich and a pork sausage sandwich... and baby, everything was hitting!!! The ribs were tender and full of flavor, the sides were on point, and both sausage sandwiches were seasoned just right. You can really taste the quality in everything. Pro tip: get there early! They open at 11am and I pulled up at 11:07... already packed! But don't let that scare you, the line moves quickly. Great food and the service is impeccable every single time. I was very disappointed in what I received from this establishment. We went once before when he use to sell across from Dollar General in the parking lot So years later I expected more and I'm little confused with the mixed reviews all reviews should be how great our food was. Im not trying to hurt anyone's business, however when you take my money that gives me the right to voice my opinion. Was preparing for possible bad weather and I was storing up on comfort food to last until the bad weather was over. so, I decided to go to one of my favorite food trucks for BBQ and decided to drop in to Boutte's. Upon arriving to place the order, I was informed that they were limited on options because customers had almost depleted their inventory for the day. so, I decided to get the smoked Oxtails only and they didn't disappoint. They were smoked to perfection and tender. I was totally surprised because I am a big fan of their ribs but now I have to include their smoked oxtails. Definitely will be back. read more

Last weekend, my uncle came to visit and went out looking for some good BBQ. After reading through a bunch of detailed, highly rated reviews, he decided to stop by Boutte's BBQ--and we're all glad he did. He brought the food back to my house and the smell alone had the whole place ready to eat. He picked up smoked oxtails, brisket, beef sausage, and ribs. Everything was flavorful and tender, but the ribs were the real standout--smoky, juicy, and packed with that deep BBQ flavor that's hard to find. We were all impressed, but we also believe great BBQ has to be consistent. So today, I went back myself to see if it held up--and it more than did. I ordered the 4-meat plate with chicken, brisket, ribs, and pork sausage, along with two sides. The aroma coming from the plate on the way home had me ready to pull over and dive in. When I finally sat down to eat, I was honestly blown away. Somehow, everything tasted even better than the first time. The meats were cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and full of rich, smoky flavor. I couldn't believe it--how did they top the first round?! Boutte's BBQ is the real deal. They've earned a loyal customer, and I've already started telling friends and family. Saw them on instagram & wanted to try them. I got the oxtails with beans & dirty rice. I also got peach cobbler. The owner & I assume his wife were very friendly & they gave me a sample of brisket. The brisket was very good. Now to the oxtails!!!! They were sooooo good. I've never had smoked or barbecued oxtails before. The flavor was all the way to the bone. They were good with the bbq sauce as well. The beans & dirty rice were ok. I'll pass on the peach cobbler next time, but I'll definitely be back for the oxtails & to try something else on their menu. The owners told me it can get crowded & they sell out so I suggest getting there early or go during the week. read more

Service was great! Bbq sauce was light for my taste, oxtail good flavor slightly over cooked for me, I like them tender but stay on the bone. If you like fall off the bone then this is your place! Potato salad was nice. TOP 5 from restaurants for me. Dirty rice looks like watkins... would probably be better from scratch... Sweet tea pretty darn good. So, peep... Good barbeque is REAL scarce around the Sienna/Mo City area but we might have just found a solid choice. This local food truck came up in Google when I did a search for, "Good bbq 77459" so I went to see what it was about. When I got there, it was deserted. Like one customer and like 2 other food trucks that didn't even look open. So I was nervous. If you don't see a line, your automatic thought is you're making a mistake. Lol. Clearly, I was wrong. I walked up, ordered ribs, hot sausage and brisket. It's been a few weeks so I can't remember my side items. What I do remember was everything was great! Especially for barbecue out here. They served my food really fast, prices are reasonable, service was good and the food was tasty. The only drawback to me is that their hours are very limited. They are only open I believe Thursday/Friday/Saturday so keep that in mind. I will definitely be back! read more

I have been a customer since before the food truck, when he was pulling his pit on a trailer behind his truck. The quality has been consistent for YEARS. I have a BBQ man hook up all the way out in Texas City, but it's an hour each way so when I don't want to make that drive, Boutte's IS the spot! I never had smoked oxtails - I was leery about them honestly, I didn't think they would be tender or flavorful - BABEEE the way I was wrong as two left shoes!!! I have had almost all the things on the menu at this point and I have enjoyed pretty much everything. The portions are great, prices are solid and the customer service has always been great. I've heard a lot about this place and read the reviews; so I had to give them a try. So we decided to get a 3 meat and a 2 meat plate. The good- all of the meats were cooked and seasoned well. The portions are adequate. The bad - the potato salad is really sweet. We had to get creative and add something to dilute the sweetness. The ugly - the two meet plate did not have the 2nd meet ( that's on us for not checking prior to leaving). Overall, I'm not a fan of the sides. But the meats are good. This is a 10/10. I got the baked potato with brisket and I couldn't believe how huge it was! Literally two people can get full off of ONE baked potato. It was loaded. And tasted amazing. I also got their sweet and spicy beans and they are the best beans I've ever had. I also got the potato salad. It was ok. It wasn't the best kind had but I ate it. There was just a weird aftertaste. But maybe that was just that batch. I was hoping it was a little sweet. But the texture of the potato salad was a 10/10. Lastly, I got their peach sweet tea. This BBQ is so delicious! It reminds me of that nice, smoked Q that you only get a family reunions cooked by the old school Uncles! I had a pound of ribs, brisket, and sausage at a good price! Brisket is moist and tender and the meat falls off the bones of the ribs. The beef sausage is a little spicy so be prepared for that flavor! I have also tried their fried fish, shrimp, and wings - I believe it's offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. The bbq is a Friday and Saturday thing. I don't know why it's taken me so long to go to Boutte's! I recently read about them on the Nextdoor app. and went there expecting great things. We were not disappointed. I ordered a 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs and my husband got a 3 meat plate with chicken, brisket and sausage. They were absolutely amazing!
