    Fried catfish and onion rings
    Lotus H.

Parking in strip lot with plenty of spots. Order at counter self-serve fountain drinks. Great friendly service- locally owned and fresh crispy catfish and delicious onion rings! Friend got beans&rice sides with her lemon pepper wings- also delicious and other friend loved the fish sandwich and crinkle fries too! Will return again when in the area!

Must order!! 1 catfish, 5 bourbon wings, 5 sweet chilli flavor

The place is located in a plaza with reasonable parking. I called in my order for pick up. They open at 11am daily and closed on Sundays. I order one piece of catfish and ten wing dings. The flavors I ordered was sweet chilli and bourbon flavors. I tried lemon pepper and it wasn't my fave. My order was hot and fresh. The sell daiquiris and got a sweet koolaid of your in the mood. It is small inside so you could eat inside it's a few tables. Service was good order was ready. Nothing bad to say but you must go order. It's worth it fully and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get.

8 piece hot lemon peppers and sweet chili wings with cheese fries.

Food was fresh and flavorful. I got the wings and cheese fries. ( hot lemon pepper and sweet chili) both very good although I would've liked a little more lemon pepper seasoning on it a. My mom got the fish and shrimp she said the fish was good but the shrimp was slightly overcooked but still had a good taste. All in all I definitely will be coming back! I even reccomended it to some other friends that stay in the area for them to check it out. I also got the banana pudding and peach cobbler. Both were also good.

    Wing & Shrimp Basket

Wife said her coworkers recommended this spot to her & I said we have to pull up today! We got the shrimp & wing basket. Lemon Pepper. Super good & the portion size is great for the price. Shrimp is lightly fried Wings are fried literally to perfection Lemon pepper seasoning sticks to the wings & has the perfect amount of seasoning. Crinkle cut fries are fried great & seasoned hella well. Oh yeah try there honey Mustard too. I am not a fan of honey mustard in general but there's is definitely good. You can eat inside but we ordered to go because they have seats it's just a little small. Shout out to the cook, I believe it was Rob or Roger, I just know it was a R! This is definitely a hidden gem! Pull up!

Recently she had an afternoon appointment and I was able to swing by and join her. When her appointments were completed, it was in the beginning of peak traffic time, so we decided to walk over to DS and have a bite to eat and catch up This space is so open as well as cozy. Soon as you enter, you head straight to the counter to order. From there, you're given a number and choose your seat. Booth and table options are available. On a Thursday afternoon, the place wasn't busy but not empty, which gave my Mom and I the opportunity to catch up without a noisy dining room. The food came out fresh and hot and for the price, we were surprised by the portion since its was the $10 HH burger and fries. The fountain drinks were interesring as well. DS does not have Coke or Pepsi products. They have similiar flavors you would find with those brands. I enjoyed the Mexican Coke. It seemed to not be as fizzy aa your own well know caffenated Compadres but still carried a great flavor. Let me not skip over the dessert! Mom LOVED the pecan pie which she states had whole pecans instead of pieces. I did not wven notice that she had been getting pieces of the pie as we talked. Half of it was gone when we left. That means is pretty scrumptous! I had enough willpower to eat my chocolate chip cookie when I got home and it was worth the wait! Not only is the cookie huge, but the semi sweet chocolate and sea salt is chef's kiss. Grat combo of both worlds. Combine that with the crunchy outisude and chewy, gooey interior and this is one of the best cookies I've tasted in a long time. So glad to dish all this goodness to Yelpers and remind them of another gem in West U that will not only give you a great place to get a bite but satisfy that sweet tooth.

Similarly to their more popular location in Memorial (#2), this outside of this Bellaire spot doesn't immediately tell the full story. The interior has an industrial vibe, with the high ceilings and overhead fixtures, but as converted into a solid dining space. The large tilted mirrors in the main area are reminiscent of the now defunct Helen's (#3) and makes for a fun (or perhaps distracting) visual. The spacious layout allows breathing room for all kinds of groups. Service has been good overall, and prompt throughout every visit. The American bistro inspired menu has a decent amount of variety that spans from brunch to a tasty weeknight dinner and a drink. Their starters have a variety of tasty bites that include the white truffle eggs, wicked wings, prosciutto-melon burrata, Mama Pauley's meatballs, and a very addicting chipotle pimento cheese dip. While I appreciate the vegan-friendly hippie chickpea croquettes, it needed just a bit more seasoning. Their bacon double cheeseburger has been deemed "insta-famous" and it certainly didn't disappoint. It's juicy, a little messy, but a lot delicious. It paired well with their large cut fries (consider upgrading to the truffle fries), but the house made chips are also a good light bite. Their salads are equally fabulous from their classic caesar to a hearty cobb salad. I wasn't as impressed with the crunchy Asian salad, but thought their faro salad was a thumbs up. Understandably, the priciest meals are some of their grilled and house specialty meals, such as a prime tenderloin filet ($42), Mediterranean roasted redfish ($36), twelve hour ribs ($29), and rosemary-lemon chicken ($29), all of which are solid. I feel the buttermilk chicken tender platter ($19) is really meant for children, but is great for any tender lover in the bunch. Their weekly "features" are a series of daily specials that range from prime rib nights on Wednesdays and ribeyes on Thursdays, and "kids eat free" specials + their happy hour give folks plenty of reason to check it out. ___________ ( #1) Especially during their seasonal deals which can sometimes include steep discounts. Our server, Jazmyne, was nice and honestly did her best throughout the evening, but I do think she could use some additional training, especially when it comes to cocktail knowledge. My friend and I arrived around 6 PM. The restaurant was busy but not overcrowded, so we were expecting things to move along a little quicker. We started with the Holy Macaroni. The appetizer came out very quickly, but unfortunately, it was barely warm. The batter itself was nicely seasoned and crispy, and the mac and cheese inside was simple but satisfying. Had it been served hotter, I probably would have enjoyed it even more. My friend, Tiffany J., decided to get the chicken bites, half lemon pepper and half garlic Parmesan, along with the waffle fries. I ordered 15 wings--all flats--with 5 lemon pepper rub, 5 ranch, and 5 Buffalo Hot. My friend's chicken bites were okay, but they were on the dry side. I was also expecting the garlic Parmesan to be a little more saucy. The waffle fries were lukewarm, which is honestly the main reason I stopped ordering them whenever I eat at Pluckers. It doesn't seem to matter which location I visit--the waffle fries never seem fresh and often taste like they've been sitting under the heat lamp for too long. Now, onto the wings. I actually enjoyed them overall. The Buffalo Hot was surprisingly spicy and definitely caught me off guard. It had some serious heat to it, although the wings themselves could have been hotter temperature-wise. The lemon pepper had a nice rub with a good amount of seasoning, and those wings were piping hot. The ranch wings, however, were disappointing. They tasted pretty plain, almost as if they rushed through seasoning them, because I could barely taste any ranch at all. Those wings were also piping hot, which I found interesting because all of the wings came out at the same time, yet the Buffalo wings were noticeably less hot. At the end of our meal, Jaz asked if I wanted to sign up for their membership. It's $10 for six months, and from what I understood, you get something free every time you dine in. I eventually decided to sign up, but unfortunately, once she scanned the barcode on my phone, my email apparently didn't exist in their system, and I still wasn't able to log in. Jaz went ahead and took down my information--name, email, and phone number--and brought it to a manager to get the issue fixed. I was told it would be resolved within 24 hours. Unfortunately, even the following day, I still couldn't access my membership, and the system continued telling me that my email didn't exist. So now I'm sitting here wondering... am I paying $10 for a membership I can't even access? I'm hoping someone from the restaurant reaches out and gets this resolved because I'd definitely like to use the benefits I paid for. I will give Jaz credit for one thing: she did take the Holy Macaroni off the bill, just as she promised she would once I signed up for the membership. I appreciate her following through on that. Overall, while I appreciate Jaz's efforts, the service was simply too slow. It took about 45 minutes for my wings to come out, which was frustrating. On top of that, the membership issue added another layer of inconvenience to the experience. That said, the food wasn't bad, and I'd be willing to give this location another chance. Hopefully, the service improves and the membership issue gets resolved. Parking is plentiful. Will I come back? Yes.

Even after joining the waitlist ahead of time, my party of seven still waited about 30 to 40 minutes before being seated. Considering the holiday crowd, though, that was completely understandable. One of the highlights of the evening was our waitress, JB, who was genuinely one of the best servers I have ever had. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the meal. We started with an order of fried pickles, which arrived almost immediately. The pickles were crispy and well fried, though I found the ranch dressing a bit thicker than I prefer. For my entrée, I ordered the 12-ounce prime rib cooked on the rare side, along with steak fries and a Caesar salad. The salad was fairly standard, and while the steak fries were nothing extraordinary, I still have not found a side I prefer more. Prime rib can sometimes be hit or miss when it comes to temperature, so I was happy to see that mine was cooked perfectly this time. It was incredibly tender and seasoned just right. The au jus kept every bite moist, while the creamy horseradish provided the perfect contrast to the richness of the meat. My sister ordered the country fried chicken, which was less successful. The chicken itself was decent, but the white gravy was noticeably salty and overpowered the dish. I also would have preferred the gravy to be served on the side rather than poured over the chicken, as it made the breading soggy and masked some of the flavor. Overall, this was another solid Texas Roadhouse experience. Between the excellent service, well-cooked prime rib, and lively atmosphere, the restaurant delivered on what it does best. While not every dish was a winner, the quality of the meal and the outstanding service made for a memorable Father's Day meal.
