I brought my vehicle in for a state inspection. The car is less than six months old, garage-kept,…read moreand had no issues when I arrived. The windshield wipers worked perfectly and did not cause any blurring prior to the visit. During the inspection, I was told the vehicle failed due to the windshield wipers and was encouraged to replace them. After leaving, I tested the wipers and noticed--for the first time--the windshield became momentarily blurry when washer fluid was applied. The blur cleared within seconds but only started after the inspection, which was concerning. When I asked if the car had failed and whether I owed anything, the employee first said no, then returned moments later to say I owed $12. I asked for the manager's name. He said he was the manager, then claimed the owner's name was on the door, which turned out to be false. I later learned the owner is James Bell. At the time, he couldn't provide contact information and declined to look it up. I believe in supporting local businesses, but that depends on transparency, consistency, and respect. Failing a nearly new, garage-kept vehicle over wipers made me wonder if this is standard practice or how some customers are treated. I can't say whether gender played a role, but it crossed my mind. I encourage others to ask questions and document conversations. Customers deserve honesty and accountability. I will not be going back!

Reasonable price, great owner, and nice location…read more Came in for an oil change and to track down the cause of a recurring stall issue with my Volkswagen Tiguan. The mechanic listened, asked good follow-up questions, made sure he understood the problem before drawing any conclusions, and then diagnosed it cleanly. The part arrived within the window he quoted (2-3 hours), was installed without fuss, and the final bill was reasonable. What stood out as much as the technical work: he flagged a slow coolant leak and a minor oil leak -- this is an older car, so neither was a shock -- but there was no pressure to pile on services. He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. The waiting area is a genuine plus: free wifi, a table big enough to work at, and a small fridge with complimentary drinks, large TV. My one suggestion would be to add a coffee in the AM. Also, the door to the reception currently reads "B". Might want to avoid any confusion with better signage. That said, I am a big fan of this establishment and will be using them for repairs in the future (apparently sooner than I want :) Bonus: he pointed me to a wonderful Indian place across the street, Biryani, which I'd highly recommend if you have time to kill while your car is being worked on.

I ended up needing more work done and while it was expensive as cars are it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Gia the manager was also just pleasant to talk to and very communicative overall. She even offered to let me come around the desk to type in my credit card number for privacy which I felt was a thoughtful gesture. Overall my experience was great and my car feels better! Thanks honest automotive!
