These guys are the worst types of people you find from slums working at Mobile one Port Moody. I came down in August to get my left light fixed, they said they could do it, as I waited they started to tell me that my alternator belt was fraying. So before I said yes I did my research and asked them where it was , they showed me the serpentine belt instead. So, ended up paying close to 250CAD not rupees (should have been the latter). Two months pass by I take my car to MIDAs, which I should have done in the first place, and those Canadian trained mechanics sent pictures of the same exact serpentine part telling me that it is fraying. The area where Mobile One claimed to put in a new belt!!! Now, don't call me a fool, when I was at Mobile One dealing with those young slums, I did ask where my old belt was , they conveniently showed me something that looked very think tossed in a pile of crap. A message for especially brown, black women..don't go to these guys. They don't have an honest bone in their temples and they are just wanting to take the little in our wallets.

I tried to use the $15 Google coupon (see photo), but he did not honour it. He said my charge was for "labour", not "service". Say what? He also said my tread was getting low, so I should be thinking about new tires. I asked for a quote, and he quoted approx. $2500 for four tires. When I do buy my new tires, I won't be buying them here.

They told me it was my oil sending unit and with parts and labour it would $70. I let them put it in and when I arrived home I was still seeing the oil dripping. I brought it back and they put it back on the hoist but said they couldn't see any oil leaking. Really? They fix cars for a living and can't even spot a dripping oil leak that any regular schmuck could see with naked eyes. If they couldn't see it actually dripping they should have been able to see the drips on the ground but they probably didn't even look for that. My rationale was that if they can't even see that there is a leak, I'm not even going to try and show them or have them try and fix my car again.

A video of this experience, which is worth 10,000 words, is on th Internet, titled "Experience and Review, Great Canadian Oil Change, Motor Oil, Valvoline". Briefly, an employee broke the dipstick and parts entered the engine. There is also doubt about the quality and quantity of the "semi-synthetic" oil recommended which I purchased based on representations by their employees. The engine is now dieseling, knocking, and no longer runs far without stalling. My video has "before" and "after" scantool readings, as well as the receipt. The manager was so embarassed that I was given a $12 discount without my asking. Their people were quite warm and pleasant and offered advice as to where to buy Punjabi samosas in the area. One more item: Their manager offered to replace my car's fuel filter. I agreed to his suggestion, but did not hear anything further, so I do't know if he did/didn't change the fuel filter, which he said was under the car. He went down the steps to "below", and came back up a minutes later.

Also, just Google midas langley complaints- there are sooooo many to choose from . Find yourself a shop that has a bit of integrity I would also like it noted that never have they ever managed to fix my vehicles quickly or efficiently. In fact -they told me they had fixed my car so I went onna road trip - broke down the whole way. While pulled over kn the side of the road a random man came to see what was up . He popped the hood and in 5 seconds fixed what midas told me they already had! He didnt even need tools it was such an easy fix!
