Zero star, DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE !!! I purchased a shoulder supporter 1 hour ago, it specified on the shelf that no return once opened, and when I checked out, I didn't get any notice that it can't be returned, and the front bullshit lady even didn't gave me any receipt. When I wanted to return it, they said no return on personal items, I gave the tag that they hanged on the shelf, and they said their policy is no return, I asked about this tag, they said: "I don't care, call for police." Then I want them to give out their information such as manager's name and phone, they said they don't know their manager's name, and they cannot give his phone number, or any information. FINE, PREPARE FOR INVESTIGATION FROM POLICE AND MY DEMAND LETTER!! This place and the front ladies should go to hell. read more

I use bunch of Japanese cosmetic products, but there's difference between Japanese version and American version, it's always hard to find the real Japanese version, but takashima saved my life! Just an odd experience with my 8 yr old today. It's a niche type of store. You need to know what you want because almost no items are in English which is fine because it's their niche. The girls working have no customer skills and cash only. Both times that I've been there the girls behind the register were busy touching up their own makeup to even acknowledge you. They have the WORST return/exchange policy. BEWARE! I went to exchange a lip gloss today that I purchased last week (within the 7 day period with my receipt) with the original packaging intact, never opened. Right when I told them I had an exchange, the girl immediately said no. Told her I didn't even open it but she said there are fingerprints on it. omg. Didn't want to waste my time arguing with them so I just left. Why have an exchange policy at all if you can't even exchange anything?! Short review: How is this store still afloat? This place has the RUDEST, DIRTIEST, WORST employees I have ever seen. Avoid this place like the plague. Long review: I walked into this store with my girlfriend and nobody acknowledged our presence. Okay. That's fine. They didn't do anybody any harm... YET. I lost interest in the merchandise and was standing around, when my girlfriend comes back furious. When she was about to check out, the Chinese girl at the counter was cutting her fingernails and making her wait. What in the world? My gf confronted the employee and the employee responded in the rudest way possible, "what's wrong with that? I was gonna throw the trash out anyway." Lady, I don't know what world you live in but there's EVERYTHING wrong with cutting your nails in front of your customers. Next time, why don't you dig for gold in your nose and clean the gunk between your toes as well? Anyways my gf went to another employee to check out and asked if there was single mascara available since it was in a bundle. In the rudest way possible, she says "Yeah. Want me to cut the stick?" and then at the end of the purchase she basically throws the items and pen for my gf to sign. Immediately we left never to return. You couldn't pay people to be this rude. Oh, and they can't speak English either and will yell at you in Chinese. Don't ever come here. You'll probably get better service from a rock on the road. read more

This place have so many Japanese products/cute plushies. I don't always buy something here every time I walk in here but the girls who works here still managed to be so polite and asked me if I needed anything in specific. They were super nice and mentioned some of the products have tester and do not hesitate to ask them to try them out. I love getting facial masks here because simply it's convenient to just buy it and go home and not have to waste shipping fees or what not online. They have a wide range of facial products and I'm sure you can find something that might fit your skin type or need. Come in and walk around :) They don't bite! read more

The service is excellent and the products in the store looks desirable. --+The packaging of the bath products looks adorable, however the bath salt/cream didn't deliver any kind of effect. Some of the bath products makes you think you were lying in the golden shower. Eeek. --- Hello Kitty nail lash were cute, but once you put it on, it's hard to remove. Most of the items or knick knack that they carry are a little bit overpriced or more expensive than the regular Asian stores. I come here just to buy some Japanese Cosmetics. There are specific brand of skincare, makeup and hair care that I like but if I had to order online, they will charge me an arm and leg for the shipping. So if I come to this area for dining, buying some breads than I stop by to get some asian brand skincare or makeup or haircare. customer service: it just depend, and most of the time I was greeted and acknowledged. They were helpful just to meet the standard not really go over board. Sometimes they do have sales on their products but rarely. Ohh and the sale is not huge either probably 10-20% off the regular price. read more

It's a beautiful store with products made in Japan. Got kirby hand lotions and they are really good quality. My daughter was super surprised and happy. I stumbled this store and was excited to check it out especially since I'm a fan of Japanese skin care products. While I was browsing, I accidentally dropped a very small blush compact and had to buy it. The employee working didn't say anything and got on her cell phone. I continued to browse and was interested in buying a lip product and she said I must buy the blush and that she called the manager. I had no idea what was going on and I felt so uncomfortable being in the store. That is the worst thing as a customer to feel. I've been in customer service for 18 years servicing clients in the makeup industry and have never felt so uncomfortable and in addition had to buy a product for $16.99 that I accidentally dropped with no sign displaying that if this happens, a customer has to purchase. I recommend that you communicate to your customers a little bit better and to put a sign that clearly states that if someone drops a product, that they must buy it. I would have loved to come by again, but unfortunately this is a store I will not visit again. read more

Why would you have a toy quarter machine without the ability to help perspective clients to change their dollar bills so that their child can purchase the toy? Why do you even put the machine out there to make your child want the toy and then get mad at you for not being able to purchase it? And when I ask for change inside the store, the ladies in there give me this awful reaction and tell me so sorry, change is only for customers buying something big. .. and then when I buy something, I ask for change, they say, so sorry, we don't have enough quarters for you, please go somewhere else to get change..... I walked by this store while waiting to grab lunch from CoCo Ichibanya. The store hours claimed that they were open from 11 AM-9:30 PM every day. I waited for the store to open and ended up going to lunch around 11:25 when they didn't open right away. Hour wise, I'd say they really open around noon. The store is mostly stocked with Japanese health and beauty products with the small stock of Sanrio, San-X, and licensed merchandise from Peanuts and Disney in the back. The front of the store has items like shampoo, conditioner, and slimming products. The middle of the store is cosmetics and beauty tools. Plush, lunch items, and other miscellaneous items are at the back of the store, all of the plush are locked behind glass displays. I was greeted when I came in and the clerks for the most part, left me to shop on my own. I did ask one clerk for recommendations for a good volume building mascara that wasn't by Dolly Wink (I wasn't happy with it.) She showed me the pink tube of Fairydrops Volume mascara as well as the waterproof version and another brand. She told me that customers rave about the Fairydrops mascara so I decided to try it. I would come back as I saw an eyeshadow palette that I wanted to try out. read more
