I love that they carry such a wide selection at very reasonable prices, making it easy to stock up without breaking the bank. It's one of those stores where I always end up discovering something new to try. If you haven't checked it out yet, it's definitely worth a visit. They also have another Shibuyala location in Rowland Heights, but I personally prefer the Arcadia location inside the mall. It's well organized, easy to browse, and there's plenty of parking around the mall, which makes shopping even more convenient. Be warned--you'll probably walk out with more than you planned to buy! She wanted to make sure I was taken care of properly. She was so kind and caring and the whole staff was so friendly and helpful. The hydrofacial itself was so amazing she started off with giving me a massage. It honestly felt like lymphatic drainage for my face because I do gua sha at home. Then she brought out a steam machine and some cold roller thing. And she used a machine that felt like water was squirting into my face with air but my face didn't feel wet. I honestly don't know what was going on. Everything felt so amazing though I felt SO RELAXED. She even did extractions for me on my nose which I have not done in AGES. She said I didn't have acne just blackheads lol. I take that as a compliment to be quite honest. Once it was done my face truly looked FRESH. I was so happy with my results. Then I went to the injection room and got some Botox. They were so quick and it was as painless as Botox could be. Loved my experience here. They legit have everything here it's a one stop shop. He seemed confused by my presence and told me that everyone was out to lunch. I was confused and he told me to talk to one of the nurses, but she looked annoyed at me and told me to keep waiting in the lobby -- when I asked if they were on their lunch, she said no and to be patient. Finally, I was seen by the consultant. The consultant was very no-nonsense and didn't seem to have the patience to answer my questions. When I asked her about my concerns re: skin fat burning, she would brush them off by saying "Well, just use a different laser then". Okay, but...she didn't answer my questions or really explain the pros and cons of each laser? Ultimately, I will choose a different location. There are other places with similar pricing where you will feel valued and treated like a patient.

A girl with medium long hair who works today is super rude and she was not helping at all while the other one who seems newer and with longer ponytail was better tho. I suggest the owner selects employees more careful otherwise whoever that is will ruin your business. The rude one asked me to sign on the receipt with a really demanded tone and I asked her where to sign guess what it turned out that she changed her idea by saying there is no need to sign at all. WTH??? That is ok people sometimes made mistake but can you just don't give me that attitude and show some respect to customers??? I wish can give this place zero star. read more

The store has amazing atmosphere and I had such a great shopping experience here. This newer Takashima location opened in June and I haven't really had the chance to come in until recently. The store has ongoing 15% promotions and really nice and informative employees. Also if you spend over $39 they will give you a free gift! Similar to other Japanese makeup stores you can come in and try on makeup, the staff won't really bother you unless you ask for help or you bring a drink inside. Takashima has become one of my favorite stores because of the prices and nice employees. It feels like i'm in Japan again! read more

The sales associated was very informative, and told me about each line, it's usage, and what each product's purpose is. She never pushed me to buy anything. Rather, she informed and insisted that I take a few samples if I'm still deciding. As I was still deciding, I turned around and saw their whitening line. Recently, I've been really obsessed with the color of my skin and been avoiding the sun as much as possible. I was told that Laneige's whitening line is new. It didn't help that they had cute packaging either. I ended up getting their whitening serum, which came with a mini travel size day serum, face cream, eye cream, and toner. As promised, the sales associate gave me samples of products I was eyeing earlier: one that melts blackheads and a mask. She gave me 7 samples! SEVEN!
