I went in today (6/16/2022) for nail supply. Ya girl is trying to save some coins from frequenting nail salons ... Environment : not the most organized, well lit shop. But it's huge and has more crystal selection than the one across the street. Service : owner is friendly and help find me items such as nail hole puncher, gem glue, apres gel-x. Although she can be busy doing stuff around the store or taking inventory, she is very patience and take her time answering few of my question. She even show me different sizes (medium vs long) and let me try on my nail before committing to the length. Price : comparable to Amazon or Etsy. You can come in personn to choose what you want and see quality yourself. Minus the shipping cost and you get items instantly. Obviously, if you want nail supply from Aliexpress, be prepared to wait at least 1 month. Compare to the store across the street, this place sell cheaper (a bottle of translucent pearl here is $5 vs $8 at the other store) Bonus : 1. Open to everyone, I walked in without professional license and can still shop till I drop 2. They carry Apés gel-X product. read more

I saw on Google that this places was closed on Sundays. Yelp says opened so I made my way down there. I've came to this place a handful of times before. I've spent $100-$150 dollars worth of merchandise eveyryime I come. Upon getting there I see that there's a sign that says closed on Sundays. Pictured in my check in. So I walked up and ask as a courtesy if they were open to shop. Just so I don't think it's open to shop when it's a day of inventory or something. Lady at the register was super rude. Answered "you don't see the door open or what? Of course we open" and I was like Google says your closed and you have a sign that says closed on Sundays. I wanted to make sure.and she proceeds to say again very rudely and condescending "Door is open! You don't see door open?" The other lady by the clothes answered nicely by saying it was open. I walked over to the nail polishes only to realize I didn't want to support a business where someone can answer a question so rudely especially when the approach was not rude at all. read more

I come here to buy my nail supplies and I have come several different times. The customer service here has been terrible. Every time I come, a comment is made about my skin tone in a negative way or I am getting followed around closely. For reference I am a 19 year old hispanic girl. The service is unacceptable and uncalled for, I will not be returning. Do better. read more

Stopped by to grab some Apres tips and the owner was really kind and informative! She saw that I was interested in gel extensions and let me know of the Apres tips that she had in stock, as well as more affordable substitutes they carry and the popular Gelish items in stock. The parking lot is a small but there's plenty of street parking on Hart Ave and Steele St! There's $20 minimum to use your CC. Happy to have found a nearby supply store that carries Apres :) read more

The sale lady is very dishonest and a terrible person. Be very careful for anything you buy without a price tag, she would over charge you.

This place doesn't deserve a one star. Disorganized, an employee kept following me around the whole store!, to get her off my back I asked for lash extension glue and remover. She didn't know what was glue or removal She showed me a glue and a "removal" I decided to get them out of stupidity. At the register she decided the product was wrong, went her self to change it for an in box one. I saw her moving, playing and staring at the bottles and they were all talking in their language around me. When I got home there was no fucking product in the bottle (empty bottle). Safe to say wont be returning! read more

Horrible customer service. I'll admit that I was just purchasing an inexpensive item, but the man at the counter told me to wait. I guess he was busy on his laptop? After 4 minutes of waiting for him to get off of his laptop, I chose to leave the store without purchasing anything at this place. I ended up walking across the street and purchasing items at the other store. read more

This place has definitely upgraded from years ago and I love coming here for all my nail supply needs! Ever since quarantine happened I decided to do my own nails & the selection here is awesome! They have a huge selection for acrylic tips. I've never seen these unique tips at other stores. I used to go to another local nail supply store, but the prices here are way better for the same product. Plus its closer to me. They must've hired new employees since the old reviews say the customer service wasn't as good, but the girl at the register answered all my questions and even went out of her way to help me look for something specific. It looks like a small mom and pop business, so I am more than happy to support them during this time. I'll be back again! read more

i'm a gel nail hobbyist, not a professional. I love this place, always have what I need at very very reasonable prices that make it my go to place to grab a ton of new colors, tools and accessories. I would much rather go here than shop amazon. Owner is super helpful kind and patient. Great selection of colors and offerings. read more

This place is very run down and dusty. The pictures are nothing compared to how it really is. Found a small Lysol spray and other disinfectant sprays and they completely oversell that. That goes against price gouging laws in California. The supplies they sell is ok but questionable. read more

ordered online feb 16. It is now March 25. still have not received my order or a response to any messages, emails, or calls I've made.

This is coming from a guy's perspective who took his girlfriend here. The place was a pretty nice place and legitimate considering that they accept Master and Visa cards, while some places in Garden Grove only accept cash. The place has a large variety of nail polishes and hair products. It is huge, but is separated by clothing on one side and massage chairs in the other side. Yes, they do not carry OPI. The staff? Well this lady straight up followed us around the store and glared at us, so that was pretty awkward. Other than that, stop by if you are with your girlfriend and in the area read more

I found this place through Tiktok. The owner and her family are so kind! As a nail Technician student I appreciate both the huge selection in products and the awesomely affordable pricing. NotPolish acrylics for $12???! Holy cow!!! I make sure to stop by here every time I'm in the area read more

This place is clean, organized and they have so many quality things. It is so much cheaper than buying online. Their OPI collection is huge. Much better than Skylark in OC. A must on my list. I had already bought my things at Skylark before coming here but the prices were the same. OPI nail polish $4 China Glaze $2 Orly bonder refill 8oz $14 (online .6oz $5) Seche Vite refill 4.5oz $15 (online .5oz $5) I will definitely be back! read more

What a GIANT beauty supply store. I made my first visit on a Saturday afternoon because I read they sell inexpensive but high-end nail varnishes here. Well, bad news ladies (and some men): THEY NO LONGER CARRY O.P.I. NAIL VARNISH. (according to the dude behind the counter) However, they do still carry Essie (~$3.75), China Glaze ($2.00), Orly, and Color Club (didn't get a price on those), to name a few. They also have a wide variety of hair care products (Paul MItchell, American Crew, BedHead, Nexus, Redken, Joico), and makeup, too. The cashier lady was friendly and helpful when I was ready to check out. She informed me that THEY ARE NOW OPEN UNTIL 6:30 PM. I ended up leaving with a China Glaze, Pumi-Bar, and a round facial brush for less than $5. What a steal! I'd certainly return to Beauty Headquarters - it has much more selection and lower prices than any Sally Hansen store. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! the workers here are super helpful and everything here is so cheap. they usually have everything in stock but when they don't(which is rare) they would tell me when it'll be back in stock and I would come back to pick it up. I'm pretty sure I bought almost every item they have in stores from nail brushes to waxing materials to hair dye to mannequin heads to tool boxes to even iphone cases! they all work so great and I'm always 100% satisfied. if you love nail polish and you want them for cheap, this is the place for you! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I don't think I have ever gone somewhere and felt so unwelcomed. I had been looking for a wax warmer under $25. I called before hand so see if they had what I wanted. I talked to a man who works there and said they were selling one for $20. Excited, I came in to buy it. As soon as I walked in I was "greeted" by the older Asian women who said "What do you want?".... Strike one, WHO SAYS THAT. I told her I was looking for the wax warmer that costs $20 and that I spoke to the man who was currently on the phone. She said to me "We don't have that." I told her I called before hand and the man said they did. T hen she kept raising her voice at me saying YOU ARE WRONG YOU ARE WRONG YOU ARE WRONG. She literally told me I was wrong at least seven times. She kept telling me "go go go". I walked out and I will never go back, ever. read more

I went in here thinking it was a good deal on nail polishes, but they are not. The place just across the street is wayyy better & cheaper!! SERVICE SUCKS!! Yea I said it. You know how people say that the nail people sometimes talk about you. Well I was just browsing through and the freakin lady behind the counter starts talking about customers in Vietnamese. Ya I may not look viet, but I can totally understand you! & they never even wanted to help me. IF YOU WANT TO GO TO A PLACE AND GET TALKED ABOUT TO YOUR FACE, THEN GO HERE!!! IF NOT AVOID AND JUST GO ACROSS THE STREET TO SPA BEAUTY SUPPLY!! read more

Well, this place is NICE, BIG, and ORGANIZED. I hate it though when they follow you around the store. Especially if you dont even have your purse with you! I was only carrying my wallet and my girlfriend had only her wallet too... Well, Def! NO OPI ladies. I know sucks but they are just rumors!!!! Honestly Downtown LA is the best for any of your beauty products! read more

I was debating if i should keep this place my little secret but i can't contain my love for this place. I always passed by it whenever i go to my boyfriends house and i thought they only sold big nail/ hair salon furniture and equipment stuffs but after i yelped it and found that they sell beauty supplies too with cheap opi nail polishes i Had to check it out. OPI Nail polishes for $3.75 compare to Ulta at $8~9 Nailtek Nail Therapy for $5.00 comes with a Free full size Foundation II, compare to other places for $10~15 EACH! Buffers and files starting at 25 cents They also got China Glaze, Essie, and more brands along with fake eyelashes in box sets, many different acrylic nails, waxing products, glitters, crystals , etc etc. I love that place! One of the lady, seems like owner or somehting, walks around folowing you around sort of. Annoying but she is helpful if you ask her questions. $20 min purchase for Creditcard read more

This place is a SUPER STORE for all my nail polish needs. They seem to have every color of the O.P.I nail polish...it's so cool to shop here. There are racks after racks of shades to choose from. Not only that, each bottle is ONLY $3.50 each. Amazing right? Ofcourse they have other brands of nail polish and other beauty supplies too. Come check it out yourself! read more

This place seems outdated man. There are a lot of older questionable bottles laying around. They do have an ample amount of space and the prices are fair. Lots of OPI, Essie, and about a rack or two of ORLY. read more

This place is the jam!! Get your flat back mannequin heads for $15! No need to wait 2 months to get it from China! There is a large assortments of everything!! The beauty professional/junkie's PARADISE!!! read more

I like insider anything. So beauty depots probably meant for nail salons instead of normal customers, but they sell to normal customers at the prices they sell to nail salons.. fits right in with my agenda. They do sell OPI, though in limited lines. Yep, some of their polishes are older and visibly so, but the store makes an effort to discount them for you if you buy em in bulk. So think, 3 Essie bottles for $5, for example. I'll be back to thoroughly shop the aisles, but certain lines they don't have a lotta product selection in stock. Their China Glaze was limited to metallic reds, really when I went. read more

I don't hate this place, yet I can't love it. I'm glad that they do sell O.P.I. and Essie nail polishes to the public but they can be a bit pricey. There are some nail polishes that look like they've been there for years. You can tell by their discoloration and separation. Of course you can always shake the bottle but it won't be as nice as it originally was. It seems cluttered too and items will look dusty. I feel bad that they have to compete with Spa Beauty but you can't just shut down your store. The thing that changes my mind is that they also do sell Sation nail polishes since Spa Beauty carries a small variety of them. Like I said, It's not bad but yet not that great either. read more

If I can give zero star then I would. All the stuff here have no brand name BUT it's expensive compared to the other supplies store that I go to. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GO ACROSS THE STREET (SPA BEAUTY SUPPLIES). For way cheaper price and better quality stuffs. Not only that, when I was browsing the store (with my teacher and a few other students) trying to figure out what we need to buy for class. The old lady that was working here, followed us around quietly without asking if we needed help. She just followed and watched as we were browsing the store. She act as if we were there to steal her supplies. Never in my life, do I feel not welcomed at a store/business. When we asked her does she have Easy Flow brand, she looked at us like we were aliens from another planet. Then she asked what is that and just walked away. I don't know how does this place stay in business with that kind of customer service and horrible attitude received from that old lady. I think she's the owner of the store too. I would no recommend this place to anyone, nor will I ever plan to come back. I'll take my business somewhere I can feel welcome. read more

I frequent this place quite often to save money because this place is pretty cheap, especially for OPI polishes at $4.25 per bottle. This place would get more stars if the customer service was better and the quality of some of their products were better. The lady that works there is very nice, but the man in charge can be quite rude sometimes. Some of their products are quite dated, or cheap/flimsy but it's a pretty big store and quite often, I am able to get what I need. Also, quite often, they run low on colors or run out of OPI polishes, and it's a waste even stopping by. I've never had any problems getting their merchandise without a manicurist license, but one time, the man in charge requested it, otherwise he was going to charge me $8 per OPI bottle, so I left without buying anything (waste of time) and only to come back with my cousin who had her license and they didn't even bother checking it, even when we offered to show it. I get it, you need to enforce some rules that your suppliers requires but at least be consistent. You've seen me shop here quite often! The place across the street is friendlier and their products are less dusty and up to date but I don't know why I always come to this place first, then walk across the street, probably because it's more spacious. read more

I keep forgetting to write a review for this amazing place because of my busy work schedule but I absolutely adore it here and the staff too! All the girls are always just so helpful and kind.
