There's a small patio right infront of the main area inside. Their wine selection was quite impressive. So much things to choose from. Not only wine, but they also have beer on tap available. I stopped in half an hour before they closed and it was still pretty busy. They have a tasting menu is you were into sampling some wine. What was offered for the tasting menu was quite nice. I think there's only a flight of 3 and the selection was quite nice. One was bold which was really nice. Also, the beer on tap was great. I believe that you could be members of the place as we noticed the orders for pickup. It's quite a nice cool spot for tasting. The main bar area was nice, service was great and friendly. Seemed more like all the locals and members. Quite an impressive selection of wine for purchase.

The inside is cozy, with both table seating available (for normal sized groups- 2, 4, mayyybe 6 ppl) as well as bar seating (where I was seated). It's easy to pick up on the fact that this is a favorite local spot, with the owner and staff immediately recognizing several patrons by name upon arrival (I was envious! lol) The wine selection is impressive, and they have a simple menu of a few Sammie's, salads, and appetizers such as cheese boards, baked pretzel, and other items. Along with my glass of Malbec, I enjoyed a cheese board and quite possibly the BEST Caesar salad with chicken I've had in a decade or more! Dietrich was tending bar, and while not extremely well versed in wines (which he admitted openly), he was knowledgeable enough to pull solid suggestions based on your taste/preference. He was warm and friendly (and busy!). The owner was present the whole evening as well, and though I tried to engage, he didn't seem very interested in making chat with a non-regular like me lol. (It's ok!) There was a guitarist, which added vibes, but mostly just noise...his speakers were very loud, and the selection felt a little out of place. I would've stayed longer than the hour I did, if the music were a little lower and enjoyable (maybe jazz or something?). Maybe there'll be a different musician the next time I visit...I WILL be back!

My fiance and I are both pescatarian and there's plenty options. The veggie sandwich though is our favorite. It is out of this world. This place is in a family friendly neighborhood and the restaurant accomodates children so don't be surprised if there's kids when you go. It's pretty normal.

It's located in Bixby Knolls, surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, bars and breweries, yet it's the only true wine bar right there. Honestly, Long Beach has more wine bars than most surrounding areas, and since the South Bay is packed with breweries, if you're tired of beer this is your sign to switch it up. You will not regret it. The food menu has cheese boards, salads and sandwiches, and everything I've had here has been delicious. The cheese boards are better than sex. There is seating indoors and outdoors. It's minimal, but somehow we always manage to find a table. The service is consistently great and the owner is wonderful. She will be leaving soon and she will absolutely be missed, but what she has built here will definitely be cherished. The new owners fell in love with the place, so you can expect it to be well taken care of and to remain just as charming. Parking is street only, so read the signs carefully so you don't end up with a ticket. If you go on a Sunday there are no restrictions or time limits, which makes it even better.

It's a small, charming spot with a relaxed atmosphere. Just a heads up- there's no indoor seating, so everything is outdoors with a small patio setup. That said, when the weather is nice, it's actually ideal. It feels very laid back and intimate, like one of those hidden neighborhood gems you stumble upon. The employee working when we went was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a place feel even better. The wine I tried was really good, you can definitely tell it's natural wine (in a good way!). They also have small bites available if you want to snack while you drink, though we didn't end up ordering food. Parking is street parking in the area, which wasn't too difficult to find when we went. Overall it was just a really pleasant experience. If you're looking for a casual place to enjoy a glass of natural wine outside on a nice day, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

The fact that I've passed by this area so many times without noticing this little gem feels like a true tragedy. Though petite and easy to miss, this spot is something special. They specialize in natural wines, thoughtfully and selectively curated since they're not a winery themselves. The selection offers great variety, and because seating is limited, it's very much a first-come, first-served situation, arrive early if you want a seat. There's some indoor seating, with more available outside. The wine servers were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. They also host food vendors. There is a sushi spot right next door which is conveniently located next to the theater where you can score discounted bottles if you're catching a movie. Wines rotate as they sell out, so if you fall in love with one, do yourself a favor and grab a bottle before it's gone.

I didn't try the food, so I felt I needed to give it another try! Especially since I loved the vibe and the wine tasting (when we came, there was a special event going on) On the first visit it was extremely busy, so service was a little slow. Every single table was taken. But, they were still friendly It was still an amazing time just hanging out with girlfriends and catching up. The live music that night was great as well. I'm not sure what days they have the live music, but definitely call ahead and ask. I personally don't mind it taking a while, especially since I had such great company (Cynthia, Lynn and the birthday girl, Eunhae) But do not come here if you are in a hurry 2nd visit My friend and I came on a Saturday. I made a reservation in advance since it gets so crowded (prior to my first visit I didn't even know about this place) so I highly recommend reservations or just sitting at the bar if you can find a spot The parking is street parking. So it's a bit difficult. Both times I've been here I've been greeted right away. We checked in and James took care of us and showed us to our table. They have seating on their front patio and they have more seating heading towards the back of the restaurant. We wasted no time lol. We placed a food order. Just small shareable things. And then bigger things to share It was happy hour as well when we came. And I was impressed by how fast the food came out -fries -bread -we went with the large charcuterie and cheese board -Skirt Steak + Frites (recommended by James) We also got desserts They had a chocolate cake And, I was shocked they had pumpkin ice cream (usually that is just seasonal) The pumpkin ice cream was absolutely delicious. Since they didn't have wine tasting that night. We ended up both ordering the- Cherry Spritz MUZ Vermouth, Cava, maraschino cherry, rosemary We also had a glass of champagne since it was a special occasion I do think this place needs more workers. Especially with how busy it can get. The workers are always friendly. But service is very very slow Last time I came here we did a wine tasting. I asked, James about it and he did say it is only on certain days. So if you are in the mood for a wine tasting, call ahead and ask which days. They do not do it often They have nice patio seating Parking can be very very difficult Service is friendly, but slow They do have a really cool shop connected to the restaurant and bar that sells wine and etc

Located off the fun Retro Row on Fourth St. with the last Friday event happening, we noticed a good amount of people walking in and there was a security guard out front. The crowd was lively so it must be good. First off, I was totally surprised about this place. It's a pretty nice spot. There's the main bar right along one wall that offered both wine and beer. There was also a corner that hosted a live band. When we arrived, no one was playing yet. The crowd seemed to be more of the younger hipster vibe. A completely different crowd from the LA scenes. Getting a drink wasn't that bad even though it was busy. I happened to get lucky when someone moved from the bar stool for me to approach. I was a little surprised when the wine I ordered was in a box...lol... I mean, it was whatever. Some options were for a glass only or for both a glass or bottle. But when it came to checking out, tipping options went from 20 25 percent to 30 percent. Wasn't used to that as an option as it's not like you're dinning in. Anyway, the surprise was when we walked out and seen that they had a massive back patio. It was hard finding a seat as it was packed. There was also a food trunk on deck but wasn't sure what they were serving. We noticed people with hotdogs and someone with a box of pizza. Not sure if it's from the vendor or if you're allowed outside food in. The vibe was fun, the crowd was lively and everyone there for a good time. It's more of a younger scene. I'm not sure how often they have performances weekly but tonight was a major one with the event happening on the last Friday.

Incredible knowledge and ingredients but not snooty patootie. Super inclusive and fun, with cool popups and events happening all the time. It's a full bar so you can get any cocktail you would normally order if you're keeping it simple, or beer, wine, boilermakers, etc. There's a span of offerings and price points, so something for everyone. This area is vintage vibes and Baby Gee speaks it fluently. Really cool decor, curated by the owners who design everything from the playlist to the cocktails to the invention of never-before-seen flavors and shapes of jello shots. The roof area was super cute but it was a little warm so we settled on one of the cozy velvet couches. We ordered a little too much but so excited to try it all we started with the charcuterie board. It comes on a cute snail shaped board. Especially loved the honey walnuts and cheese. The tea service comes with tea, mimosa, tea sandwiches, scones, desserts and fruits. You can tell the cucumber and chicken salad sandwiches were made to order. The cucumber is fresh, the right amount of herbs and seasoning! The chicken salad was also amazing! Zingy from what i think was Dijon and both were so moist and delicious! Scones were perfect! The mimosas were yummy and so was the tea. We ordered the oolong and Jasmine tea that came with ginger and butterfly pea syrups! What a whimsical touch that made it all perfect.

When we got there, I felt that the decorations and drinks felt a bit gimmicky, with random fairy tale-esque elements like a throne and massive red roses. I thought it would have been very cool to see Easter eggs and more intentionality bringing the atmosphere together. Since it was an hour before closing, we didn't plan to stay very long. The two people working at the bar were both unwelcoming and seemed upset that we were there (there were other people at the bar, including people who arrived later in the night than us). We paid for our drinks, which cost over $40 for 2 drinks with tip. My cocktail was $17 and came in a glass barely bigger than a shot glass. We left around the time they were calling for last call. I can understand not wanting stragglers who prevent the bartenders from closing late, but I would have much preferred being turned away at the door rather than paying and tipping for an overall unpleasant experience.
