This spot has been around for over a year now and is nestled in a cool group of stores that look well kept. As I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly host. I respect my lactose intolerance so I asked her if they were able to make any of the drinks with almond milk and she recommended the matcha zang zang - a drink coated with matcha on the inside. I got the large with regular boba. Ok. The first sip was a bit jarring because the matcha CLUNG to the walls and was warm. You REALLY have to mix but it was difficult to do that because the matcha paste is thick and the milk is filled to the brim. After the initial user error, it was smooth sailing. I ended up liking the drink.

Came here for the first time with a group of friends. I ordered their large matcha milk tea (no ice, 25% sweet) and a poke bowl. My balance came to approximately $20. What's hot - Menu. There's something for everyone. That they have bubble tea AND a good menu is essential. They have the classic bubble tea flavors and some variations. Furthermore, they have cold and warm food options (I.e., poke bowls, wraps, ramen, etc....). They also accommodate for dietary issues. For example, one of my friends ordered their bubble tea with oatmilk. - Quality. My group of four finished everything we ordered. Delicious! I loved how they can accommodate for sweetness preference. My matcha tea was not too sweet, because I ordered 25% sweetness with no ice. My poke bowl was delicious. The seaweed salad was already seasoned, which added a nice flavor and all the toppings I ordered added a nice flavor. My friend, who ordered their ramen said it was delicious and finished her bowl. - Portions. Very good. Enough to get me full, but not stuffed. - Price. Good value for money. My poke bowl with one protein (I ordered salmon) came out to approximately $15 and my milk tea was approximately $5. - Layout. They have booths and tables. There's a decent amount of space so that you're not scrunched up with other customers. - Service. Pretty good. If you order dine-in, they'll bring you your order. Since it was my first time there, their staffer was also very knowledgeable about their menu and was able to answer all my questions (how to order off their food menu, the level of sweetness, whether I could ask for no ice, etc...). - Location. It's in a plaza with other businesses and shops, which is helpful. For example, there's a Bonchon a couple doors away, which has awesome Korean fried chicken. It's also a couple doors away from a physical therapy provider. That also means there's a decent size parking lot. What's not - Location. To be fair, this is specific to me in that they're a little over 30 minutes drive away. But pretty good, especially given the quality and portions. Final answer Definitely worth returning to.

Amazing place, definitely recommending to friends. Boba was questionable but the foods the main star imo. Big portions worth the cost. Service was great the staff are super friendly. Great accommodations for food allergies as well!

Stopped by for a tea and it was really good. I ordered the Thai iced tea and it came out pretty quick. It was delicious. I will return to try other items.

I was familiar with this place from their Annapolis location, so I was stoked when they were opening up one in Crofton! I was already a fan of their ramen and bubble tea, and I keep meaning to try the sushi burrito. So, that's what I did when they opened! And I'm happy to say, it was stellar! This is a great shop for all three of the aforementioned offerings! I haven't tried their poke bowl yet, but if it's anything like the burrito, it promises to be delicious! The service was great, same as I'd come to expect from the Annapolis store. The ambiance is fine... it's chic without being pretentious... very new, very modern, very clean looking. But, the food... the food is well worth the visit! I love their ramen for it's subtle flavors, strong pork broth, and delightful toppings. One bowl is more than enough for me, as it's quite filling! Same could be said for a burrito from there as well. The bubble tea is well worth getting, though. They have a ton of different flavors and varieties, which you can customize to your taste! It's a great spot for solid ramen, tasty creative sushi offerings, and deliciously refreshing bubble teas. So happy Crofton has a location now!

I've been stopping into Taichi Bubble Tea at least once a week in the last month and their build your own ramen bowl is my favorite so far. I've also tried a few of their bubble tea, the cashier has been assisting me and switch it up during each visit. Haven't had a bad one yet! Love that it's really peaceful, perfect for me to eat and work. Will likely be back within the next week or so!

This place just opened here but I see that it's a chain. I ordered the veggie tomato tofu ramen bowl and added mushrooms for $1.25. The server was very nice. The broth had decent flavor but there was a lack other veggies and a complete lack of seasonings on the tofu and tomatoes. So it was ramen noodles, some corn, scallions, sprouts. There were about 6 slices mushrooms. Very disappointed in the value for what I received. Please do better on the food. The ambiance was good: music bumping and it was very clean.

The place itself is in a shopping center with ample free parking. I had the dinner bento box with teriyaki chicken and it was a LOT of food for $19.95! Besides the chicken, there were udon noodles with some broccoli and carrots (yaki udon), 6 bite-sized California rolls, three fried shumai, and about 1/2 breast of teriyaki chicken. Plus a salad and cup of miso. Just want to say, all of the ingredients were fresh and the veggies were crisp-tender, yum. I generally avoid chicken breast dishes because they tend to be too dry. This was borderline for me. Very tasty teriyaki sauce, etc., but the strips of chicken were dry to being almost inedible for me. I'm picky that way ;) My DGD enjoyed her ramen and DD liked the Pink Lady roll. Out the door with tip, just over $57 and that's a bit ouchy for me but we all have leftovers, so it works out to $28 per meal, I guess that's not bad. I would like to try some other menu items, and DD said she wants to take DGD there for lunch sometime. So it seems we will be back.

Overall quite good value. Certainly it was the most "Americanized" Korean bbq I've been to (they give you forks and you need to ask for chopsticks, etc.), but I still liked the food more than others in the area. The experience is enjoyable and the food is always good, however, the shellfish can be a little 'fishy' at times. They also have changed the layout a lot over a very short period of time. For instance, closer to opening you could self serve on some of the non-meat items. Now all that remains is the sauce/hot bar and ice cream cooler. The real issue and why I don't give this place a better review is that the server turnover is unreal. We typically go once a month and have never seen or had the same server twice. On our last visit, we ended up with someone who admitted to being brand new who decided to card a grey haired old man (me). I asked for a manager who wasn't much older that our server and they refused on principle because I challenged them; they also ignored my ask for a general or senior manager. You can debate the principle of having your age verified on any number of points, but when someone is clearly multiples older than 21, the principle falls away and the insult to intelligence begins to set in. I emailed the Gmail account associated with their contact form over a week ago and never got a response, which at this point, is my primary complaint and a point for people to take note of should they run across a situation where they try to reach out to leadership. Much like most places, it's luck of the draw and we got a really lousy draw last time, but honestly the service is somewhat lackluster. They have these tablet devices they want you to use, but you have to first have them be enabled by your server and then it's hit or miss as to when they will return to check in (presumably because we can order some things on the tablet, but not incidentals like a fork or a spoon, etc.) YMMV.
