Ramen and Poke Bowl

First visit to Taichi. Ramen broth was rich and had generous amount of chicken. Poke bowl was super fresh. Prices were moderate. Happy to go back.

Ramen, sushi burritos, poke bowls, bubble tea and snacks. There's a lot to try out. Will come back to try ramen another time (I feel like that's always better in-store vs taking it home or to work). They also have mochi donuts, not sure if they make them in-house but will try the next time I'm not also getting a bubble tea (so much sugar!). Had a boba tea - they have a limited number of flavors, some standard toppings, and ice or warm/hot. The tea itself was lightly sweet and not too strong; the tapioca bubbles here are just that - no additional sweet added so they don't carry the drink much other than texture but keeps it from being too sweet. Service was quick at 11:45am and inside is a clean and neat shop.

I stopped by this cafe since I saw that they sold bubble tea. It's a very cute cafe and well decorated. There's a lot of tables for seating and very spacious. They have a self order kiosk which is nice and allows me to easily browse the menu. I just got a Taro Bubble Tea with less sugar. It wasn't anything special, but despite ordering less sugar, it still tasted very sweet (maybe from the tapioca). They also had food as well, but I didn't order any. Maybe next time I stop by, I'll try out some of their kitchen dishes.

Oh my gosh, finally a place in Morristown to get flavorful and delicious ramen. We stumbled upon this place today and I was not disappointed at all. My husband and I both ordered the spicy ramen and it was delicious. So many ramen places lack long lasting flavors but Taichi Bubble tea knows how to make an amazing broth. I also love that they offer more things besides ramen. We were able to order different types of bubble teas and they have mochi donuts !! The decor of this restaurant is super cute! Love the color choices and the set up. I also really liked that you can order via a computer, I thought that was pretty cool. Highly highly recommend this place if you are looking for ramen!!

Came back from a cruise and was craving for Asian food decided to give this place a try. The service and decor are excellent. We thought the quality of the ramen is good. Noodle = good, pork = ok, egg = good, soup = good. Bubble tea is above average. The ramen is a little pricey at $17. While it is not New York City quality but it's pretty good for New Jersey as suburb and it is a lot closer than Fort Lee which may be only slightly better. There are plenty of table and it is a very nice place to grab a tea and some noodle with friends and family.

Thai iced tea is not overly sweet and the boba is perfectly chewy. Really friendly service too.

Very spacious , fun vibe and plenty of parking. So glad to see a new Bubble tea place in the neighborhood. Staff were friendly, helped with the menu. Lots of variety of Boba options and other drinks. They also have ramen on the menu, which we haven't tried. We ordered a few flavors of bubble tea - pineapple, strawberry and peach. The peach was my favorite ! Will definitely be coming back !

Spicy tonkatsu soup, takoyaki and matcha bubble tea with tapioca pearls and milk cap

This place has plenty of food options. Everything I e ordered here was good especially their tonkatsu soup and takoyaki. They also have lots of bubble tea flavors and choices for toppings. Service is fast and friendly. Ambiance is cute and cozy.

We were in the mood for some bubble tea and came across this gem while in the area. We ordered taro, Thai iced tea, coconut, and strawberry bubble teas. They were well prepare and refreshing. We also got an order of the salmon pokebowl which was delicious and came in a large size. The establishment looked fun with the large bubble tea statue outside, colorful neon lighting, and spacious indoor seating. The staff was also friendly and prepared the food quickly. There are two kiosks (one in the front and one in the back) that you can place your order on in case the line is busy. But this is definitely a place we'd like to visit again.

I just had bubble tea but it was good. The place offers sushi, poke bowls and other foods like dumplings. Cheerfully decorated and self service. You order at the cashier at an electronic kiosk then when your food is ready you go up to get it. My bubble tea was good with a selection of fruits & tapioca. Would recommend this place for a quick bite.

The bamboo shoots tasted a bit weird but other than that the noodles and meat were cooked perfectly. You can tell the time and care put into this broth because it's fantastic, super layered but not too heavy. Beef tataki wasn't my favorite but I added some of their chili oil and that elevated it a TON. the chili oil here has an amazing flavor and a fantastic addition to any dish. If they sold that id buy it for home. Service was fast, order taken the moment we decided and our app came out about 3 minutes later. The ramen took another 5 minutes and then came out steaming. We were able to walk up to the front and get our check immediately as well. Overall friendly and speedy. The inside is cute with a minimalist japanese aesthetic. The kitchen is pretty on view so you can see you're sushi or ramen being prepped. Overall great find and if i'm in the area again i'll be back!

The ramen had great depth of flavor, the tempura was crisp and light, and the roll was fresh and satisfying. I also loved the ambiance of the place. There's something about it that feels very communal, and it was cool being able to watch the sushi chefs and the rest of the team at work. This will definitely become one of my staples in Morristown!

The big snow storm happened weeks ago, and yet the parking lot had less spots because the snow was piled up on top of them, so we had to maneuver our way into a "made up" spot instead. Again, the broth is really good and the service is nice too, we were just disappointed with these two inconveniences.

I had the Korean Kimchi soup ($17), a fabulous concoction of ramen noodles in a slightly spicy miso broth served with spam, kimchi, a soft-boiled egg, bamboo, wood-ear mushrooms, and corn. My dining companion had the Tokyo Chicken soup ($16) with udon noodles in a slightly spicy miso broth served with sliced teriyaki chicken, a soft-boiled egg, bamboo, wood-ear mushrooms, and corn. My carb-conscious dining companion seemed mildly surprised the chicken filet in her soup was breaded, rather than grilled.. but adjusted expectations accordingly. Both soups were served quickly and were fantastic. The portion sizes of our soups were very filling and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Parking is available in the front AND back of the building. The parking lot in front of the building facing NJ Route 10 can fill up quickly, but there is plenty of space in the parking lot behind the building and there are entrances in the front and back of the building.

I went with a group of 3 and all ordered ramen and the karaage appetizer, but the karaage was just slightly crispy and barely had any flavor, the sauce really saved that dish but definitely would pass on that dish. All 3 ramens were average. The pork cha shu was tender though which was the highlight, but overall broth was pretty standard. Particularly my miso ramen didn't have that much flavor. Service and staff was a bit slow, but food came out pretty fast. Overall not bad, but will probably give this place another go sometime and try some of the other dishes.

Rice was a little hard to be honest and corn was ok.. I kinda put them in my ramen.. the black ramen was good.. lots of spinach and thick piece of pork (chasiu).. soup was thick but not too thick!! But we were just dropping by one of our absolute favorite places to eat in Summit. Summit has a great downtown with many restaurants and let me be brutally honest. Many will disappoint. My experience is a lot of muted flavors. Not too spicy. Some honestly pretty bland. Not so here. We get the ramen fairly often. I get the chefs special or house special? Something special. And it is. My wife gets the vegan one. She gets it with no bamboo shoots. Not a bamboo shoot fan. She would make the perfect panda roommate. They are crazy about them. Her panda roommate would not even need to put his name on them in the fridge. She wouldn't go near them. They wouldn't need to have that awkward conversation where he would say, "I'm pretty sure I had like 3/4 of a container of bamboo shoots yesterday," She hates them. Be careful. I am pretty sure they are not called bamboo shoots on the menu. I think they use the Japanese name for them. And we always get the tofu bao buns because she's pretty vegan. Not orthodox vegan. She might have an egg. Especially here. Add an egg to her ramen. Ramen is terrific. And we've had it delivered as well. Packed really well. Actually maybe not delivered. But take out for sure. We ate in tonight I had the Kimchi pork bao buns. Wow. People will write songs about them. And I had the sticky chicken wings which are only available for dine in. Super crispy super sticky. If people are writing songs about the bao buns they would go to war over these wings. Even a panda would be like Why was I eating sticks? What's wrong with me? These are amazing! The place is really cute inside. I see it described as hipster but this is definitely a popular family spot in Summit. So don't come here for ramen; come for an incredibly tasty, inexpensive sushi experience. I had an amazing roll, and let me tell you, the presentation is stunning. It came out sizzling on cast iron, while my server spooned garlic sauce over the top to cook it and add dazzle. Filled with avocado and spicy tuna, the portion would be perfect for sharing with someone. I also had a dynamite roll, which more or less melted in my mouth. I was less wild about the Christian crosses at every table. I'm a secular person. All in all though, Asahi qualifies as a hidden, off-the-beaten-path gem of Parsippany.

If you like garlic, withhold expectations and absolutely give it a go. The contrast was an unbelievable experience--it was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. There was sweetness, balanced by a tiny touch of spicy from the tuna plus heavy garlic in the sauce. The roll is served on a scorching hot cast iron tray, contrasted by the cool sushi inside. Every bite was a battle of soft and crispy, sweet and spicy, hot and cool--we finished it and immediately ordered a second roll. *As a nod to another review, I will acknowledge that the room got a little smoky immediately after the Amazing Roll was served and the waitress/hostess did elastic-bungee the door open for a few minutes to clear the air, but the air was clear and the door was shut soon after. If I were to change anything about our experience here, it would only be to stop at the two other occupied tables on my way out to preach about this roll and highly recommend they give it a try.
