Great poke spot in Millburn! As a Maplewood resident, we don't have much good-quality poke and was excited to find this place. We used to go to inspiration roll in Morristown but my family thinks we'll be replacing it with Millburn Poke from now on. Portions were definitely smaller than other places but it was still enough for one meal. My bowl had sushi rice, mixed greens, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, mango, seaweed salad, kimchi, masago, edamame, teriyaki sauce, spicy mayo, onion flakes, garlic flakes, and shredded seaweed. The fish tasted super fresh and the mix of the sweet teriyaki and spicy mayo complimented each other very well. At first glance, the mango didn't look super ripe but it tasted good in the mix. Next time, I would not get the kimchi. I've had a lot of kimchi and this one had an odd taste to it in my opinion. I took it out of my bowl. I have no comment on the atmosphere or service because we did takeout but the food was ready when they said it would be! Price point was good for a nice portion of fish (~$15). Definitely will be coming back here for takeout in the future. read more

Service was not exactly friendly, but the food was very good. We got poke and gyoza. Good for lunch or take out.

Had a great Honolulu bowl. Just asked them to skip the onions and replace with mango. Yummy. Can't wait to to takeout again.

We finally try a poke bowl in my bf's neighborhood and it's pretty good, but portions wise alot smaller than the other places I been to. The reg salmon is fresh, but the spicy salmon wasn't. It had a off taste to it. but overall everything was delicious and they did packed it up well. I had a large size poke box - sushi rice - salmon - spicy salmon - eel extra portion - cucumber - mango - seaweed salad - sweet onions - cilantro - fried garlic - scallions Sauce on the side - sweet chilli - spicy mayo Bf's order - sushi rice/ mixed greens - salmon - tamago - white tuna extra portion - pineapple - mango - pickled ginger - scallions - sweet onions - seaweed salad - coconut flakes - sesame seeds Sauce on the side - ginger dressing read more

I just came by to pick up my online order and I asked to use the bathroom before leaving the restaurant. I was told it was busy and so I waited and 10 minutes later I was knocking on the door and realized nobody was there. I told the lady in charge that nobody was inside, and if I could have the key and she told me why don't you just go use the one in Starbucks? I told her because this is where I am buying from, and not at Starbucks, and then she told me that she did not know where the key was. I then looked at the counter and low and behold there was the key, so I grabbed it and used the bathroom. I then decided to just cancel my order because I would rather take my business elsewhere, then to patronize a racist establishment. read more

So fresh and filling! Excellent poke bowls and boba tea. Their rectangular containers and limit on ingredients chosen differs from most poke spots in the area, but they seem to give more protein including tasty baby octopus (my fave!) and for the base, they offer quinoa, cauliflower rice, and zucchini noodle besides more typical ones. While "mix-ins" are limited to 5 and toppings are capped at 3, they pack plenty of those ingredients. This spot is exactly what this town and my tummy needed! NOTES/TIPS: **Their price points are extremely fair. **Street parking available nearby and municipal parking half a block away at the corner of Essex St. and Main St. by the town clock. **You can choose sugar and ice levels for their boba milk tea. **They're called just "Poke Bowl" on Doordash. read more

I can't believe Millburn Poke still has so few reviews! We've walked by a number of times over the past few months and it always look so clean and nice inside. I'm so glad we finally placed an order. Ordered online on a Friday night for pickup and had a really easy time placing a custom veggie bowl order (with two kinds of tofu!) and a Honolulu bowl. Prices were really reasonable, the bowls were ready for pickup within 15 mins, and they were packed beautifully. Everyone loved them when we got home, and the food was still hot and tasted very fresh. Great options, fun signature bowls, and awesome vegetarian choices too. read more

Good food. Good service. The lady helped me create a bowl. I wanted with sushi rice, eel and cooked shrimp and she helped me choose vegetables and others, very helpful. Ingredients are very fresh as well. I guess it could be little overwhelming that you have so many items to choose from. But delicious. Will back there again. I think she helped me pick edmame, kimchi, sweet corn, mango and avocado. They all mixed well. I recommend this place. Something unique to eat, this would be it. There was places to sit and eat, but most of people order for take out. read more

The food is good, but the portions are smaller than some of the competitors around the area. Overall, the fish is fresh but on a few occasions it wasn't. Service is good and quick. The place is small, so seating is a bit limited. read more

Ordered: Honolulu Bowl (~$18): brown rice (+$1), ahi tuna, salmon, avocado, sweet onion, scallion, cilantro, edamame, cucumber, seaweed salad (substituted from Hijiki salad for +$1), masago, onion flake, sesame seeds with honey wasabi mayo and spicy mayo (substituted from sweet shoyu) Aya's take: This is one of the best presented poke bowls I've ever had - and I am a self-proclaimed poke connoisseur. I decided to go with one of their signature as it had most of the ingredients I would've gotten anyway. The salmon and ahi tuna were super fresh, the toppings were balanced, and overall the bowl was satisfying. Honestly, my only complaint is about the service. When I asked about substituting Hijiki salad for seaweed salad (both are types of seaweed), I was given attitude and told it would be an up-charge. For a single item (especially when poke bowls are all about customizations), I thought that was a bit unnecessary especially with the attitude that came with her the response. Despite this, I was fine with the up-charge. It wasn't really about the extra $1 but about how she told me. I genuinely loved the Honolulu Bowl; it was satisfying and delicious but the service was a big turnoff. If it wasn't for the service, this would've been a 5/5 in my book! read more

I ordered my usual but this time I wanted to add scallops. It is an exclusive item and it is more than the other items, but when I received my order the scallops or should I say half a scallop was what they gave me. Incredibly shallow giving half a scallop for 4.50?!?!. The place has always been nice, but skimping?? read more

I ordered the Honolulu poke bowl (ingredients listed at end) to go. I enjoy trying Poke generally and have found this to be one of the freshest and with the most unique flavor profiles. I would highly recommend the food. The interior of the restaurant is on the smaller side, with I believe art (for sale?) on the walls, but it can definitely seat several smaller parties wanting to dine in, with options to main street-watch by the windows. (Honolulu: ahi tuna, salmon, avocado, sweet onion, scallion, cilantro, edamame, cucumber, cucumber, hijiki salad, masago, onion flake, sesame seeds, honey wasabi mayo and sweet shoyu) read more

We door dashed some poke bowls and they were actually quite flavorful. The packaging was cute and organized as well. The Thai Tea was good. Order came in exactly how it was ordered! I just wish the sauces were in the bowl already instead of on-the-side. Delicious and proper nonetheless! read more

Stopped by before our road trip and truly was so surprised at how delicious this was! The reviews are right portions are huge and packaging is neat. Due to the quality it's definitely on the price side, and service was a tadddd slow for us but that's because we were in a hurry. Burrito and the bowl is a must get and if you're feeling fancy definitely add scallops!!! Hope these folks stick around :) read more

So I've been going here regularly. Today was the last time. Yesterday, I ordered a poke bowl with sushi rice teriyaki chicken and avocado with sauce on the side. I picked it up and it was exactly as I e ordered in the past. Today I ordered the same thing. When I left there was no sauce on the side, even though it said it on the receipt. But instead it was on the chicken. I was going to have them remake it and said I'll take it. She gave some excuse that I ordered wrong. I've been ordering this way for months. I should've had them remake it. When I ate it, more than 75% of the chicken didn't seem cooked. Almost like they used the sauce to cover that up. The chicken was crunchy not soft like when it's cooked all the way through. I ate some chicken, spit most of it and ate the avocado and sushi rice. I'm done with this place and eat here at your own risk. I don't recommend it. read more

Fast service, really fresh ingredients, so many different options. Been going for a while and it never disappoints. Best Poke in the area!!

Updating my review! At the time of my initial review I critiqued the rice as being dry. Over time we've continued to order from here and we've noticed that the rice has gotten better, and at this point the rice has been consistently perfect for the last few times. The fish and other ingredients are also consistently high quality (though tbh I always get salmon so I can't really speak to other fish ha). We now order from here about 2 to 3 times a month and will keep it on frequent rotation for our weekly takeout! read more

Pretty excited to try this since I pass by it quite a bit. The employees looked busy making orders so I waited till they were free. Someone eventually asked the customer next to me if she needed help and she said she was still looking so I assumed they would ask me next, nope. No worries, I waited to use the self ordering kiosks but 3 customers took their time browsing the menu on it for the next 10 mins. There weren't any customers other than me, the person still browsing the menu and the 3 messing with the self order kiosks. For over 10 mins, I was never even asked if I was ready to order or needed help. I just ended up leaving (I'm disabled and I didn't want my driver circling around any longer) The simplest thing any business can do is greet or ask if they need assistance, honestly, even if I didn't order anything that day, that would have been enough. I mean this with the utmost sincerely, I hope your business does well but please, do better and try not to have another customer go through this same experience. You only get one chance to make a first impression. read more

My daughter ordered from Millburn Poke Bowl today for delivery. The food arrived quickly. I had the sushi burrito....what great value for the money. The presentation is attractive; the burrito was packed in a lidded box that almost looked like a gift. It was packed full of vegetables and rice with very generous amounts of spicy and ahi tuna. They added just the right amount of dressing/sauce. I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. I would highly recommend Millburn Poke Bowl if you want delicious, fresh ingredients and a very generous amount of them. read more

Food came beautifully prepared, and fresh. My husband and I agreed that this is the best Poke we've had in this area of Jersey.

Decent Poke but expensive vs others in the area. Biggest advantage here is that they have a great selection of proteins including premium ones others don't have. Might come back if I was in the area and in the mood for Poke, but wouldn't travel for it. read more

Ordered here by mistake one time, thinking it was the poke bowl from NP. Pleasantly surprised. I believe a little pricier than NP. But worth it. honestly, better than NP. Best poke in the area! Everything was so fresh and packaged beautifully. Hopefully they stick around.

This is the local Poke place in my neighborhood. I usually walk there to get my Poke fix. The fish and veggies are always fresh and service is prompt. Good size portions and there is a variety of choices for sauces. The five star rating is for taste and value, which is tops in New Jersey. read more

Had pokebowl with salmon. Salmon tasted fishy like it was going bad. And everything was drenched in sauce. You couldn't even see the white in the rice there was so much sauce. All I tasted was over powering sauce and fish gone bad. It's like they were trying to cover up the fish quality with the sauce. I couldn't eat it. Did not want to make a scene, so just threw it out and vowed to never come back again. read more

One of my favorite places to order dinner. The portion sizes are just right and beautifully packaged. The fish and veggies are super high quality, always so fresh. They have multiple base options and a nice assortment of toppings. It's not the cheapest poke bowl option in the area but it's by far the best one (and perfectly reasonable considering the quality in comparison). I tend to make a custom bowl but I like the Honolulu as well. I've enjoyed the shumai, seaweed salad and strawberry boba tea too. Can't recommend it enough! read more

I made my own poke bowl and was so blown away I had to go back the next day to get another one. I got a bowl with sushi rice, sweet tofu, yellowtail, edamame, green onions, mango, and avocado. Take out was almost inedible. Chicken was so dry and shrimp had no flavor. There was barely a spoonful of hijiki and carrots.

Not that much fish and tiny portions for the price. Also not that flavorful. The spicy tuna didn't look exactly like tuna.
