The place is smaller, but because of the great weather, we were able to sit outside. Service was okay. It took a while to get our order in and to get water to the table. Then, our appetizer came out and a few mins later, our mains came out, so it felt back to back. Nonetheless, the food was good. In terms of pricing, I thought it was on the higher media price of food in the area, but thought it was delicious nonetheless. I had ordered sushi rice cakes and also got a chicken teriyaki. Other dishes that we had gotten included a garlic shrimp and one of the Dominican rolls, the De Lo Mio Rolls. We all enjoyed our food. Only note that I'll give is that we got the main combination courses for the garlic shrimp and the chicken teriyaki. My dad wanted to sub out the rice for plantains, but ended up not getting the miso soup and we were charged for a whole side of plantains. While the quality of food has been up and down over the years, more recently I feel it's been consistently good. It's not overly greasy, and the ingredients tasted relatively fresh and high quality. The staff is also super friendly, and whenever I order delivery it arrives super fast. Overall, Mr. Q's has held up IMO as being one of the top Chinese food spots in the neighborhood. She claims he was demanding free food. I understand that she was busy. I get that people come in from the street and they can be a pain in the ass. I also acknowledge that she was a small Asian female and may have felt intimidated. But the interaction felt kind of racist, to be honest.
