The Genral Tso chicken was amazing and the pork fried rice was good, but the pork part had no flavor (thank goodness for duck sauce). The cheese wontons were amazing! One of the best I ever had! The place is clean and the employees were super nice. The prices are cheap and during a certain hours (for certain meals), the prices are even cheaper. They also have Japanese food as well, which you barely find in this neighborhood. They accept debit cards ($10 minimum). Next time I'll try it! Will definately come back!

I ordered through uber eats and best believe I ordered priority fee so I can get hot and fresh food! Thankfully I was the first order and it came hot! I ordered chicken teriyaki with white rice & veggies buy 1 get 1 free. I would have given it 5 stars but they barely gave any veggies and the second plate was doused in the sauce and I barely tasted the rice. I def still would order again and dine inside when I'm in the area! I also liked the Tupperware packaging!

She didn't even like her lo main. She said they were dry. This food was so bad that my daughter, who loves Teriyaki, took her food home and then toss it because she didn't want it. As for the service, my cashier was pleasant, I would give her a three, because this place was crowded and demanding, and she kept a smile on her face. As for the ambiance of it all. It's a mall! So sit in where you fit in. My overall experience I wouldn't eat here again, knowing that there is another similar establishment closer to me that is less expensive and tastes much better along with giving me better and fresher food. No thumbs up for me!

Growing up, our family used to alternate different Chinese takeout spots in the neighborhood - but…read morethe one that was most consistently on our radar was Mr. Q's. While the quality has gone through highs and lows over the years, they have recently been the most consistent spot in the neighborhood - and as such become the sole place I order Chinese from when in the Bronx. At face value, what sets Mr. Q's apart from other Chinese spots in the area is the fact that they offer a full sit-down restaurant in addition to their takeout. The dining room is a decent size and tastefully decorated. Parking can be tough as it's on a busy main road, but I have always eventually found a spot. While the quality of food has been up and down over the years, more recently I feel it's been consistently good. It's not overly greasy, and the ingredients tasted relatively fresh and high quality. The staff is also super friendly, and whenever I order delivery it arrives super fast. Overall, Mr. Q's has held up IMO as being one of the top Chinese food spots in the neighborhood. Whenever I'm in the Bronx craving Chinese, I will always choose here to go.

Been meaning to check out Ikko Hibachi Sushi Asian Bistro in the Bronx for a while, and it…read moredefinitely lived up to the wait. Started off with a Tsingtao (Chinese Beer) smooth and refreshing, a solid choice with hibachi. There was a bit of a wait for the chef to come out, but once he did, it was totally worth it. He struck the perfect balance--entertaining without overdoing it. We ordered the steak, scallops, lobster, and shrimp, and everything came out cooked perfectly. Portions were generous enough that we even had leftovers to take home for the next day, which is always a plus. I really liked the light-up hibachi tables, a nice modern touch. The restaurant wasn't crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable, and the service throughout was good. Overall, the place looks great, the food was on point, and the vibe was just right. We'll definitely be back.

This staple in Throggs Neck deserves an updated review, which at this point is 7 years from when…read moreIkko initially opened. Between my first review and now, Ikko has maintained their relevance. They've kept up by offering decent Asian inspired apps and entrees. At the tail end of Covid they pivoted to include Seafood Boils as an option. Not a fan of boils so unsure how that option is going. Another option, Hibachi, which we also are not big fans of, unless forced upon us by friends or family. Is prepared on these red glowing tables and appears to appeal to the masses, so that's a good thing. During our visits, generally on the early side of dinner hours, service has always been attentive and our meals, most often than not are prepared as expected. There has been the occasional slight hiccup while dining in or when ordering for delivery, but nothing major. The aesthetics of this place continues to appeal with their colorful facade. And their interior is just as inviting with ambient lighting of red hues throughout the restaurant, enhancing the Asian inspired statues and textured wall designs. It's nice that Ikko has kept up with this large piece of real estate, providing decent meals and continuing to keeping themselves relevant within the neighborhood.

I also enjoy the kitchen apps and entrées- the miso eggplant and agedashi tofu are great appetizers. The salmon teriyaki is always perfectly cooked and accompanied by fresh vegetables. As other reviewers have mentioned- the construction of the rolls can suffer at times- for me this usually looks like 1 at most 2 pieces losing their integrity when I pick them up. My friends and I agree that this is Riverdale, not A sushi hotspot desitation and we would rather sacrifice a point on the physical construction /proper sushi technique than go somewhere else that has beautiful perfectly rolled sushi- with less fresh fish or rolls that are more rice than filling. Also- the sushi IS good! I usually go for salmon, tuna and a sweet potato tempura roll The lunch specials (monday-saturday until 3:15 pm) are a really good deal and come with pretty good miso soup and a fresh side salad. I am appreciative that they run a little later in the day as well. Aoyu has always been very reasonable abt modifications- there is no upcharge for brown rice for lunch bento- easy to request veggie instead of pork gyoza, and I really don't like crab- imitation or otherwise- so they always let me sub a cucumber avocado roll instead. Thanks for being such a great restaurant in riverdale Aoyu!
