The place is smaller, but because of the great weather, we were able to sit outside. Service was okay. It took a while to get our order in and to get water to the table. Then, our appetizer came out and a few mins later, our mains came out, so it felt back to back. Nonetheless, the food was good. In terms of pricing, I thought it was on the higher media price of food in the area, but thought it was delicious nonetheless. I had ordered sushi rice cakes and also got a chicken teriyaki. Other dishes that we had gotten included a garlic shrimp and one of the Dominican rolls, the De Lo Mio Rolls. We all enjoyed our food. Only note that I'll give is that we got the main combination courses for the garlic shrimp and the chicken teriyaki. My dad wanted to sub out the rice for plantains, but ended up not getting the miso soup and we were charged for a whole side of plantains. There was a couple ahead of us so I asked if we could sit outside as I was with the fam. The young girl just nodded and left. I looked to see if she was coming back to wipe the table clean but no.. I had to go get her. Then we sat and time passed and nobody came, so I got up and another server came to take our order and apologized for the delay. After placing the order, guess what happened to the food. It took so long that when it came it came cold and we didnt want to send it back. Another table sat next to us and the same experience happened and they asked to move inside as nobody was really taking care of anyone outside. Mind you, one of the owners was there. I eat ramen constantly and this was subpar, I eat decent food but this was bodega sushi at best. This has to be at least my fifth, if not more, annual summer sit down visit at this restaurant. Separately, throughout each year, we do indulge in the occasional takeout order. But what's been a constant are these great annual early afternoon family dinners. We can't go wrong as service has always prompt and fairly friendly. Mind you the same servers are still here from when the Green Dragon became 'New'. Meals have been consistent and always served timely. The restaurant itself is always clean, with the same decorative reddish accents and wooden interior. With bright, semi-bright lighting. The New Green Dragon is a good neighborhood spot to get decent eats. Chill and catch up with family and get many belly laughs in between.

The Genral Tso chicken was amazing and the pork fried rice was good, but the pork part had no flavor (thank goodness for duck sauce). The cheese wontons were amazing! One of the best I ever had! The place is clean and the employees were super nice. The prices are cheap and during a certain hours (for certain meals), the prices are even cheaper. They also have Japanese food as well, which you barely find in this neighborhood. They accept debit cards ($10 minimum). Next time I'll try it! Will definately come back!
