I really liked it here! First, I applaud them for opening an Asian dessert store in Orange. The two employees working when I visited were not only really friendly but also really hard working. I initally came in to just order some shaved snow but I got a drink too since theres a $5 min for card. The snow is really good! I love eating this dessert so it really saddens me that stores for snow aren't as prolific as they used to be. It's not the dessert trend anymore I guess. :( They have big portions! I got a small snow for myself and it was honestly a big portion. The small/regular size is also pretty decently sized as well. The matcha flavor was good in the snow and I liked the texture it had too. The Thai Green Tea I got was also good. It wasn't as sweet but that may be because the matcha snow was sweet and I was having both together. The service is really great here. They're working really hard even if there's only two of them and they even took the time to deliver my desserts to the table I was sitting at. Another day another boba spot. I was so excited to finally try tai tea. They have so many options its hard to choose just one. And good luck trying to figure out what size you want, its either a normal or a big gulp. The night that we visited was pretty packed but its ok it gave us a moment to look over the menu. I wanted to try something different other than my normal matcha, so I landed on the #1 on the Milk drink menu. This drink consisted of caramel, honey boba and egg pudding but I swapped out the honey boba for aloe. My hunny got some slush and we shared some medium spice garlic fries. The staff was also over the top nice and helpful. Within a few minutes our drinks and fries were ready. One sip of the #1 was amazing! I loved the mix with all the different bobas and the hint of caramel. It was a savory delicious drink, I enjoyed it a lot. It was also the first time that I tried egg pudding and again pleasantly surprised. But the real hidden gem were the fries. The box of fries was served hot and cripsy with spicy garlic on top, it was soo good and the bit of spice was perfect! I cant wait to go back to Tai tea and try more teas! read more

I received a promo in my fivestar app for a buy one get one free drink at Tai Tea, specifically at the one on Katella and Tustin. Even in the promo it shows the address. So I placed a phone order and when I went to pick up my drinks I was informed they would not honor the promo. The employees said that they have a new owner and the owner is very strict about promotions and that they will not honor any fivestar promotions. I asked if they'll provide any discounts since this isn't my fault. They said no. I ended up paying full price for my 4 drinks I ordered and took them home. The mangonada was ok, nothing stood out. The Thai tea tho... it was horrible. My sister said it was like watered down really had no taste. The Viet coffee was supposed to have boba, they forgot the boba. Luckily we noticed before we left and they added it. The peach princesses was warm, it had some ice in the cup but it was warm. It was supposed to have peach and strawberry bits but only had peach bits. Other places I've been to will mix the drink in a shaker with ice to make it cold then pour it in the cup. I have decided to update my review to 4 stars since they have been more consistent with their flavors and availability of boba. I come here about once a month, sometimes more. I love the different options (milk tea, fruit tea, slushy, milk drinks, and snacks) and how you can modify the sweetness level and ice level. You can call ahead to order but they also offer pickup and delivery through Grubhub. Many places increase their prices when ordering from a third-party, but Tai Tea does not. There are very few places to grab boba near our house, so I was excited to see that Tai Tea popped up around the corner. The shop itself is a little hidden, but it's there, nestled in between Del Taco and FedEx. For a first-timer, they made the selection process easy. Next to the registers are photos of their most popular drinks. I'm a visual person, so it was easy to just point and look at what I wanted; this time, it was a jasmine milk tea with boba. Jaime's a fan of peach shaken teas with aloe, and he was very excited that they had it as an option. I was a fan of my milk tea. It wasn't overly sweet and the boba to drink ration was great. Jaime's tea was sweet (the way he likes it) and I def enjoyed his pieces of aloe at the bottom. He did say that he'll order more of the add-on the next time he orders the bigger size so that there is more to slurp. The smaller size was perfect for me, but the larger of the two is definitely big. Make sure have room for all that liquid in your stomach and bladder before taking it on. After a tiring early morning flight and a slow Uber drive, this was my first stop. I am glad it was. The family and I felt so refreshed afterwards that we almost forgot to get lunch. I got the Rose Lychee Tea, and Hubby got the Mangonada slushy. Both were delicious, but the Mangonada was so much more exciting that I had to try really hard not to steal Hubby's drink. My Mini Me polished it off for him instead. If you get the Mangonada, just be careful not to give your kid the first few sips because it'll be pure spicy chamoy and Tajin sauce. After that, the slushy will be mostly sweet mango. The tamarind candy is also pretty spicy, too. This has been one of the few places that Mini Me had not bothered us while we hung out because they have games that are pretty toddler-friendly. The location although small and tucked into a corner (It's in the Tuskatella plaza all the way to the far left), the drinks are definitely high quality! The owners are Vietnamese and are very sweet. I ordered a green thai tea as well as a fruit tea and I didn't realize how big the cups were! I'm sure they had displays somewhere, but it definitely wasn't in front of your face that shows you the cup sizes. With that said, there's only two sizes. The regular, and large (aka huge). I believe the large is a 32oz cup. Drinks were super refreshing, and definitely not bad at all. Wait time was very short, around 5 minutes or less for two drinks. They also have a really cool grass wall which was nicely implemented because I'm sure social media buzz and "insta-worthy" photos are are a big thing when it comes to "free marketing" :) They also offer different types of fried snacks. Such good customer service! Read on... Was passing through the city, craving a cold drink and popcorn chicken and saw that this place had good reviews on Yelp, so the hubby and I stopped by. Cute little place. I ordered the strawberry lychee tea with basil seed and hubby ordered the popcorn chicken (medium spicy) special with Thai tea. The popcorn chicken was so good!! It was piping hot and crunchy, nesting in a bed of deep fried basil and spices. I would probably get mild next time, but even though my nose was running, I couldn't stop eating it! It came with a sweet chili dipping sauce, but I didn't even need it! I had a sip of hubby's Thai tea with half sugar-- it was tasty and creamy! My tea however was so bitter (half sugar) that I couldn't drink it. I suspected it was because they used the same tea base for their drinks that had non dairy creamer, which would have helped distill the bitter notes, so I told the cashier. He said that I had ordered half sugar, which is why it was more bitter. I asked if he could just add more sugar to my drink, but then he said he would make me a new one, and I could keep the old drink! I asked him to dilute the tea with more water and do 75% sugar. Ordered two drinks: Almond Milk tea with boba and jasmine green tea with basil seeds. Almond tea is: 50% sugar with less ice. I actually like it. It's not too sweet. If you are a sweet tooth you may think it's not sweet for 50%. Boba: it's on the soft side for the texture. Personally I like a bit more chewy so the boba is not my favorite. Jasmine green tea: 50% sugar and less ice. the tea is not good at all. It is VERY bitter. Tea leaves are prob soaked in the water too long. My mom only drank a few sips and wanted to throw away. I wanted to try a new boba place and when I saw that Tai Tea was highly reviewed, I had to go check it out. I was extremely disappointed by the tea quality and flavors - comparable to Boba Time. We got the honey green tea with agar pearls and peach lychee tea. Both drinks were more sugar than tea, and tasted artificial. If you are into tea, I would not recommend. ***Let it Snow!*** I am not a snow fan but this was good. 3.5 Stars. This might be a place you would find Anna and Elsa. It's not too far from their home at Disneyland and its full of color and happy faces. The happy faces pile the snow up and you're going to need a shovel to pound your mouth full of this soft dessert.
