    Steamed wonton appetizer

After a long weekend at the convention center, I needed some comfort food. We have eaten at the Tai Kitchen before and knew braving the crazy maze of construction barriers would be worth it. And oh was it worth it! The seating area is warmly decorated with nice art and comfortable seating. The staff greeted us quickly and gave us good input on the menu. Wonton soup and a side of steamed wontons hit the spot. The soup came out piping hot and oh so good. The wonton filling was nicely seasoned and the broth would hit the spot any day. My son ordered a noodle bowl that he said was delicious. He said it was just the right heat, as it didn't over take the other flavors in the dish. He also ordered a boba tea, which was not too sweet, but a good finisher to his meal. This is a hidden gem near the Riverwalk. Don't miss this wonderful locally owned restaurant for the fancy looking places in the Riverwalk. The food is better and the prices won't leave your wallet empty.

If you love Thai food; this place will keep you stopping by every time you have a craving. It's a cute little restaurant, the employees and owners are very welcoming. It's always a pleasant visit and lunch when we eat here. Their food is always delicious and fulfilling. Definitely one of my favorites.

Early dinner on Wednesday at 4 pm. First customers through the door when they opened. We were greeted with a very pleasant host and then our waitress was a delight. She was just so sweet and accommodating. We started with Chicken Satay. Entrees was Shrimp Pad Thai and Cashew Chicken. Very, very tasty! They are so attentive and accommodating! The host and waitress checked on us several times several times throughout the meal. Amount of food has great portions and also open to dietary requests. Couple of noteworthy items to keep in mind: watch the hours as they are closed on Tuesdays and also close from 2:30 - 4 pm. Open for lunch and then dinner hour. Also, this restaurant is located in downtown historic Branson and parking is limited. It is on a street that is very steep. We were super lucky to nab a parking spot right in front of the restaurant, but if you are mobility challenged at all, it could be a challenge. There are ramps, no stairs, but the raps are steep. Cute little restaurant that pays attention to their quality of food and customer service!

My husband and I enjoyed this place so much! The vibe, the people, the food. We are obsessed with one of their popular coconut curry soups.

First of all, it's American Thai food. Not athentic. But even as American Thai food, at least put a correct name on the menu. I didn't read the ingredients and just ordered based on the name, the pad prik king is not string beans, just mixed vegetables。The service is average. The tom yum soup is good for American Thai food.

Wow!!! Everything was fresh made and delicious They make…read moreeverything from scratch so this is not the place to eat if you're in a rush Highly recommend and you'll love the ambience

I chose the restaurant based on its 4.5-star rating. We arrived, and the parking lot was full. I…read morewas sure this was going to be good. Inside, we were handed a pager and told we may have a 20-minute wait. A very kind and pleasant young Black man readily offered up his seat to older patrons, spoke kindly, and did so at least twice. The wait was short. A kind, smiling young waitress took our initial order, and soon hot food began to arrive, even though the place was packed. A nice touch was the live solo country musician performing. I ordered fried green tomatoes, and my wife had the catfish basket. As I looked around, the helpings were large. No way I could eat all that! I noticed on Yelp that one could order the fish half size. Water and lemonade round out the entree. The fried green tomatoes were battered, flaky, and cooked well. But after eating a few, it was too oily. The catfish was done well but was too salty, as were the hush puppies. I've never drunk toilet water, but if I had, it surely would taste like the water I drank. No thanks. The water tasted bad even with the lemon. The restaurant didn't make the water. However, it desperately needs a filter--cudos to the kitchen and servers for plating and serving the food nice and hot. Now the bill. I noticed a 3.5% surcharge if you used a card. I was also shocked to find an additional charge of 1.99 because, according to the receipt, I was over 12 years old ordering a kids' meal. Wait, what! Less food, but an upcharge? Then another upcharge for substituting onion rings for fries. Now my final takeaway. I always ask myself, would I return for more? No, I would not. I try to judge the food first because there are "hole-in-the-wall" places that serve great food. Was the food seasoned? The food was, but when the salt is the main thing that stands out, it's just too salty. If so, what are you trying to hide? Last, they didn't even question whether we wanted dessert from the menu: just a smile and a goodbye from the waitress. I left a nice tip for the service and went on my way.
