The appetizer sampler was not very good, egg rolls and dumplings were mushy, crab rangoon had very little filling. The mango sticky rice tasted like the mangoes were from a can. read more

After a long weekend at the convention center, I needed some comfort food. We have eaten at the Tai Kitchen before and knew braving the crazy maze of construction barriers would be worth it. And oh was it worth it! The seating area is warmly decorated with nice art and comfortable seating. The staff greeted us quickly and gave us good input on the menu. Wonton soup and a side of steamed wontons hit the spot. The soup came out piping hot and oh so good. The wonton filling was nicely seasoned and the broth would hit the spot any day. My son ordered a noodle bowl that he said was delicious. He said it was just the right heat, as it didn't over take the other flavors in the dish. He also ordered a boba tea, which was not too sweet, but a good finisher to his meal. This is a hidden gem near the Riverwalk. Don't miss this wonderful locally owned restaurant for the fancy looking places in the Riverwalk. The food is better and the prices won't leave your wallet empty. read more

Early dinner on Wednesday at 4 pm. First customers through the door when they opened. We were greeted with a very pleasant host and then our waitress was a delight. She was just so sweet and accommodating. We started with Chicken Satay. Entrees was Shrimp Pad Thai and Cashew Chicken. Very, very tasty! They are so attentive and accommodating! The host and waitress checked on us several times several times throughout the meal. Amount of food has great portions and also open to dietary requests. Couple of noteworthy items to keep in mind: watch the hours as they are closed on Tuesdays and also close from 2:30 - 4 pm. Open for lunch and then dinner hour. Also, this restaurant is located in downtown historic Branson and parking is limited. It is on a street that is very steep. We were super lucky to nab a parking spot right in front of the restaurant, but if you are mobility challenged at all, it could be a challenge. There are ramps, no stairs, but the raps are steep. The food was definitely delicious, and if you know the other restaurant 'Thai Kitchen'; it's definitely comparable. I had the pad Thai, the noodles were very fresh but the pork was dry. The two waitresses taking care of us earned every bit of their tip, they stayed on top of our drinks and the food appeared quickly after ordering. During our first Branson trip, we had dinner here with our friends. The Yelp rating was very good so we wanted to check this place out. The service was super friendly, welcoming and they took great care of us. The place is a bit small but very clean and it was not too busy when we got there but got really busy after we were seated. The food was fantastic! My husband had the Penang curry and I had the mixed vegetables with tofu. We loved both of our dishes. Our friends also loved their dishes. When we come back to Branson, this restaurant will be on our "definite" list. We even got roses that the waiter made for us out of our straw wrapper! read more

I'm in town for a convention and went here for lunch. I throughly enjoyed the Red Curry Pork dish they had. It was flavorful and the portion was actually more than I could eat, though I tried! It was so good that I went back another time while in town and had their Siam Noodle with Shrimp and too was delicious! If you're a local and haven't tried it I highly recommend it. if you know my other reviews you know I'm one hundred percent honest in my reviews. you also know if I'm at a Thai place for the first time, I always get a noodle dish. If it's good, I come back, if it isn't I avoid the restaurant. That being said, the service was good, and the servers were friendly. I'm from out of town, and it was hard to find anything open for lunch on a Saturday at 3pm. I guess a lot of restaurants open up at after 4pm, but oh man was this place with the wait! First of all, it's a family that runs it - mom and dad are cooking. I loved that! The server was their son, and he was so attentive and friendly. One of the kids in our group spilled his water, and the server was so patient and kind about grabbing us a towel. I ordered the Tom Kha Kai soup - amazing! Pad sew noodles - oh yeah! And I had their green iced tea. So good! All of the ingredients tasted fresh, served at the perfect temperature, and I felt that nothing was overpriced considering the location of the restaurant. So I won't get super detailed, I'm also not one to leave a bad review off one visit, but 3 strikes YOUR OUT. The issues arise in a couple different ways, first is items being forgotten, understandable, could be the dasher fault. Second strike was food quality, old vegetables and I requested no onion and mild spicy. Shit had a whole onion and so spicy I couldn't eat it. Called them this time to see if we could rectify it. A gentleman with very broken English was whom I tried to talk to, it didn't go well. In the end not much was going to get done and was told to come to the restaurant if I wasn't happy. No I didn't go to the restaurant, yes probably should have, I let about 6 months go again and decided to try one more time. Food was bland, the biggest problem was my yellow curry. I've had this dish hundreds of times in numerous different establishments and never seen it like this. They just added water at the end and it separated (see picture) tried to eat it anyway and just terrible. Never again Tai kitchen, never again. read more

First, love this location: Downtown Branson just off the landing. The service was incredible. When we came in the place was almost full but that didn't keep both of the employees from offering very attentive and kind service. I ordered Pad Thai, which is basically what I get whenever I'm in a Tai restaurant. I can honestly say, it was the best Pad Thai I ever had (I've tried a lot). The spicy level "hot" was spicy but didn't take away from the flavors. The noodles were perfect and didn't "clump up" like I have experienced at other places.
