Steamed wonton appetizer
Shelly K.

After a long weekend at the convention center, I needed some comfort food. We have eaten at the Tai Kitchen before and knew braving the crazy maze of construction barriers would be worth it. And oh was it worth it! The seating area is warmly decorated with nice art and comfortable seating. The staff greeted us quickly and gave us good input on the menu. Wonton soup and a side of steamed wontons hit the spot. The soup came out piping hot and oh so good. The wonton filling was nicely seasoned and the broth would hit the spot any day. My son ordered a noodle bowl that he said was delicious. He said it was just the right heat, as it didn't over take the other flavors in the dish. He also ordered a boba tea, which was not too sweet, but a good finisher to his meal. This is a hidden gem near the Riverwalk. Don't miss this wonderful locally owned restaurant for the fancy looking places in the Riverwalk. The food is better and the prices won't leave your wallet empty.

If you love Thai food; this place will keep you stopping by every time you have a craving. It's a cute little restaurant, the employees and owners are very welcoming. It's always a pleasant visit and lunch when we eat here. Their food is always delicious and fulfilling. Definitely one of my favorites.

Early dinner on Wednesday at 4 pm. First customers through the door when they opened. We were greeted with a very pleasant host and then our waitress was a delight. She was just so sweet and accommodating. We started with Chicken Satay. Entrees was Shrimp Pad Thai and Cashew Chicken. Very, very tasty! They are so attentive and accommodating! The host and waitress checked on us several times several times throughout the meal. Amount of food has great portions and also open to dietary requests. Couple of noteworthy items to keep in mind: watch the hours as they are closed on Tuesdays and also close from 2:30 - 4 pm. Open for lunch and then dinner hour. Also, this restaurant is located in downtown historic Branson and parking is limited. It is on a street that is very steep. We were super lucky to nab a parking spot right in front of the restaurant, but if you are mobility challenged at all, it could be a challenge. There are ramps, no stairs, but the raps are steep. Cute little restaurant that pays attention to their quality of food and customer service!

My husband and I enjoyed this place so much! The vibe, the people, the food. We are obsessed with one of their popular coconut curry soups.

The food was definitely delicious, and if you know the other restaurant 'Thai Kitchen'; it's definitely comparable. I had the pad Thai, the noodles were very fresh but the pork was dry. The two waitresses taking care of us earned every bit of their tip, they stayed on top of our drinks and the food appeared quickly after ordering. The seating area its self was cute and decorated aesthetically, however, lunch was interrupted rudely a couple times by a man talking loudly on his phone and listening to voicemails..

During our first Branson trip, we had dinner here with our friends. The Yelp rating was very good so we wanted to check this place out. The service was super friendly, welcoming and they took great care of us. The place is a bit small but very clean and it was not too busy when we got there but got really busy after we were seated. The food was fantastic! My husband had the Penang curry and I had the mixed vegetables with tofu. We loved both of our dishes. Our friends also loved their dishes. When we come back to Branson, this restaurant will be on our "definite" list. We even got roses that the waiter made for us out of our straw wrapper!

They are closed far more than open and they actually had the audacity to charge for limes! Very very bad!

The Meal The Masaman Curry arrived first, its creamy depths thick with potato and peanut and tender chunks of meat simmered in spices that carried the faint echo of distant wars and forgotten trails, rich and unyielding as the earth after storm. The Orange Chicken followed, glazed in citrus fire, crisp without and yielding within, each bite a burst against the chill that seeped through the glass. Both were excellent, a perfect convergence of heat and solace for men adrift in the damp Missouri night. The Place This Thai Thai stands unpretentious amid the neon clamor of Branson's strip, its interior a quiet haven of tables and steam from the kitchen where unseen hands wrought these flavors from fresh vibrant ingredients. Reviews whisper of its curries praised across the years, portions generous, service prompt in the bustle. On this evening it delivered without fanfare, a balm against the relentless drizzle.

Meanwhile, they had literally just seated other customers moments before us. Every sign on the door and online indicated they close at 3:00 PM, so refusing service 25 minutes early made absolutely no sense. If the kitchen stops taking customers before closing, that needs to be clearly posted. Otherwise, customers should reasonably expect to be served during advertised business hours. The inconsistency and poor customer service were frustrating, especially after making the effort to come in before closing. Definitely not a welcoming experience.

I've not ever had Thai food before so, I was excited to try out a new cuisine. I'm not entirely…read moresure that I really scratched the surface of Thai food with my one meal but, for anyone looking a great, authentic meal, this looks like it may be the place! The first thing I noticed was the sign on the outside that said they were soon going to be closed for 3 weeks for a family vacation. That excited me, knowing now that I was walking into a family owned business. What you walk into is a small, but cozy, dining area - the sign on the wall says they can fit 44 people in there. We had a table reserved and thusly, did not have to wait. Throughout the dinner, I did notice customers waiting for both a table and for takeout and I'll say, it's worth the wait! We were served by a sweet lady, of whose name I cannot remember. She was very attentive to our group of 8 guests. We ordered 3 different appetizers: Veggie Spring Rolls, Steamed Dumplings and the Money Bags. I tried the Spring Rolls and Money Bags and though I wasn't the biggest fan, everyone else at the table enjoyed them (I likely would have enjoyed the Chicken Spring Rolls more!). Me not being the biggest fan reflects more on my pickiness than the quality of them as, like mentioned, everyone else really enjoyed them all. For my entree, I ordered from "Grandpa's Favorite Chicken" from the "Chef Special" category. My reasoning behind this order, of which no one else at my table considered was as follows: 1, it's chicken with a sweet and sour sauce! 2, it's on the "Chef Special" category which though it didn't have a description, I assumed meant that it's something the Chefs enjoy making. 3, it was starred on the menu which means that they recommend it - it was a great recommendation. My order came out in approx. 10-15 minutes with a side of white rice that I added on. The picture I have is after everyone at the table picked off a piece of chicken because of how delicious it looked. The portions were great, enough for two people that aren't starving. There was plenty of sauce - of which was very flavorful. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the rice did a great job at soaking up some of the extra sauce that was in the bottom of the plate. Overall, this meal was delicious! I would highly recommend to both locals who can go and try multiple different meals there and anyone who is just stopping through town. You won't be disappointed!

This was great since we are staying in a hotel! This is a really cute spot in Eureka Springs. Not too far outside of downtown. There is parking but not a bunch so it stayed pretty full. We decided to share. We got a dinner salad, summer rolls (not fried here) with shrimp, and the avocado curry with chicken. They do have fried rolls but they call them spring rolls here. I'm used to spring rolls being the rice paper and not fried. They have both. The spring rolls were very good. The peanut sauce is a bit sweet for me but still good. You get 4! The dinner salad was plenty for both of us. I'm not sure what the dressing is that came with it but it was way too sweet for us. I don't think it was a Ginger dressing which I thought would be their house. We would have preferred another dressing but otherwise enjoyed the salad. The avocado curry with chicken was very good. I never know what spice level to get. Some places are too mild and others are hotter even at low levels. My partner doesn't like a lot of spice. I couldn't decide if I should go with mild at 1 (on a scale of 1-5) or go with 2 because I do like some spice (but not so much I can't taste the food). The really nice woman up front said, we can do 1.5 so I said, yes! Well, I guess I am in Arkansas... ha ha. I will definitely ask for 3 when I'm back again. I couldn't taste any heat. Otherwise, the avocado curry was very good. Unique for me. I had not had avocado curry before. Had a bunch of large pieces of avocado! We would definitely go back to Thai House when visiting again. It's one of the only Asian restaurants I have seen in town.

Wow, best meal I've had out in a while. The lowest heat option had just a little burn but not lingering, sauce was flavorful and umami without being too salty or overpowering the other flavors, noodles well cooked (al dente), tofu was firm with a nice chargrilled flavor (you could tell it was actually grilled), and there were some nice fresh additions like broccoli florets, shredded carrots, cilantro (and maybe mint?), plus lime slices. The single portion was huge, enough for two meals easily, and a steal at less than 10 bucks. My husband got a (huge!) burrito with chicken, mojo sauce, and fresh guacamole and enjoyed his as well. They have local beers and kombucha on tap, and some nice looking homemade desserts. Atmosphere was pleasant, modern hotel lobby, quiet, with nice large windows. The lady at the counter was very friendly and smiling the whole time she interacted with us. Food came out fast but it was clear they cooked it to order. They must have made mine with the heat, because it was so spicy that my eyes and nose ran. They just threw some shredded chicken on top that was seasoned to be taco meat... not kidding, it tasted like chili powder, cumin and crushed red pepper. So I had spicy chicken taco meat on top of super hot Asian-flavored noodles. (The flavor of the noodles was great, without the spice and taco seasoning, hence the second star). The Thai basil chicken was bland, flavorless, and dry. Felt like the chicken had been fried awhile go, then reheated. There was about one basil leaf shredded on top. I had to give my spicy taco chicken to my husband who at it with the plain rice, while I ate his "basil" chicken with my noodles. The presentation was beautiful, though (pic taken after I stirred up the noodles). Both plates looked amazing, but the flavors didn't live up to their looks. Needless to say we won't be returning.
