My husband spotted this and wanted to come in for an iced coffee mid-afternoon after a super hot day of walking around and shopping. We loved the scones and pies and chose an apple cinnamon scone and two drinks. He had a non-fat vanilla iced latte and I chose an iced vanilla chai tea. His was WAY better than mine - really delicious. I knew better but the vanilla chai was too sweet for me - extremely sweet - think Thai tea. Tasted good, but too much sugar for mid-afternoon. I didn't finish it. The gal inside was nice and they have one food special which was a chicken salad sandwich for a great price. If we hadn't already eaten I'd have tried that - I'm a sucker for a good chicken salad. Tons of pies - as expected - and excellent flavors. We were in Branson last week and hey it's my birthday and I want dessert. To the rescue is The Pie Safe downtown. It's a very attractive place with a great assortment of baked goodies. I had huge serving of German chocolate cake that was perfect. My wife had apple pie that she said was outstanding. If you're not a religious person, I wouldn't recommend this place... lots of children's Bible school music playing with no breaks. Key lime pie was good and the people were nice. A gem in downtown Branson MO. DH ordered a slice of the blueberry pie and he swooned. Declared it to be the BEST BB pie he has ever had or at least a tie to the one we had in Acadia, Maine because of the sweet wild blueberries both of them had. We of course ordered a full pie to bring home to family in IL, that was quickly devoured. My apple pie was too sweet for me and the honey lavender tea was overpowering in flavor. Small eating area with limited number of tables and lots of blings. Staff interaction was minimal. Enjoyed ourselves with this find and will recommend to check it out. read more

This is a cute little place in downtown Branson. I had a small cherry pie. It was a perfect amount of sweetness and the crust was phenomenal. My wife had a blackberry cream pie. It was fantastic as well. I would go back again but I surpassed my dessert quota for the day already. Dang diets!! If you like pies, this place is a must. Stopped in hoping to buy some coconut cream pie for a friend. Sold out. The lady working the register told me they cannot find employees to make pie dough for the crust. So sad. The inside was cute but dirty...floors were littered with food from probably a toddler, there were no clean tables despite the place being deserted. I ordered a vanilla latte and my mom ordered a blended drink...the one girl working said sorry, I don't know how to use the blender. What? Why would you have only one employee working, and not train her how to use all of the equipment and make all the recipes before scheduling her solo? So strange. My mom ended up skipping, and my drink was overly sweet. Would maybe go back to try the dessert but not for the coffee. read more

What a quaint little shop and friendly people but if you're wanting a pie like mom use to bake it's not happening. I was really really hoping the reviews were spot on. They weren't. Don't get me wrong.. not a horrible pie or cobbler , but my blackberry cobbler was a commercial filling like you'd get in a can. So was the peach cobbler. The coconut cream was fine but I'm kind of thinking only the crust or topping on any of these may be from scratch. Enjoy a sweet and a coffee and support a small business but don't expect a great homemade pie. read more

Very accommodating! We had a Queen's Tea Bridal Shower here. The staff was excellent. Very caring and so sweet. Facility was just the right size for our 12 person party. Foods were excellent. Tea selection was superb. Chai tea latte is HIGHLY recommended. The owner even tried to match the bride's wedding colors!
