I had seen this donut shop for years but never tried it. This trip to Branson included a larger group so I headed there to get some pass around breakfast snacks for the family. The place was crowded but the line moved quickly. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to share recommendations. I bought a "dirty dozen" and a fritter on the side. Honestly, been a while since I bought donuts so maybe inflation has hit donuts harder than other items, but the place is not cheap! None the less, they were enjoyed by all! Great variety of oddball donuts w fun themes! The Cinammon Rolls were gigantic (good for a group), but not necessarily the softest/freshest in the market. They have a wide variety of coffee drinks to pair with the donuts, but our drinks took quite a while to prepare. We'll skip the beverages next time. read more

This place claims to be open 25 hours a day, 8 days a week. I guess that is true, because I visited here on Thanksgiving night without any issues. They have an ample amount of free parking available. This place is huge for a donut shop. They have a dining area and a separate party room that is available to reserve. We saw a nice photo op spot in the front of the shop as you walk in. The shop is very tidy and clean. They have a wide assortment of unique and exotic donuts to choose from. They have cake and yeast donuts. I am more of a yeast guy myself. In addition to their donuts, they have some huge donuts, and the largest cinnamon that I have seen. They looked like small cakes. They come are put in their own box. If you are thirsty they also offer coffees, lattes and hot chocolate. Yes, they may be a bit pricer than your average donut shop, but they are well worth it. You get a lot more treat and some very hard to find flavors. The staff did their job. They were not overly friendly, and were just there. Working on Thanksgiving or late/long hours may have had something to do with the average service though. I highly recommend checking this joint out and treating yourself. I really enjoyed my round deliciousness. I got a half dozen and one of the monstrous chocolate chip cookies. The cookie was amazing. I had to guard it from my littles. We got there around 7:30am and there was no line, which was good because I would have been stressed with all the choices, if we had people waiting. I am SO glad this place is nowhere near my house because I would be there all of the time! I see a lot of comments about the donuts being expensive... but this is no regular donut. These are unique, flavorful donuts. I got 4 donuts... I remember two of them but I don't remember the other two. The two I remember were the 'Maple Bacon' bar which was AMAZING and HUGE and the 'Little Timmy' which was just a regular white donut with tons of sprinkles and a frosted animal cookie. I just remember knowing that nothing compared to the Maple Bacon bar. I would love to try the latte drinks next time. The place was so cute inside. It was actually really spacious which some great décor. The service was fast and informative. I would 100% be back if I was in the area and would 100% recommend. read more

The Hurts Donut store in Branson, MO is amazing. The service was great. We arrived after a large bus of school kids on a field trip of some kind. The staff there was still able to handle the large crowd and move the line along quickly. We got our donuts faster than expected. My husband is a donut guy. He loves donuts of all kinds and tries them everywhere. Hurts Donuts were some of his favorites. I am not a huge donut fan, but these were good. My favorite thing about this store though was the swing seats. They were cute and fun and make the store more interesting visually. It looks cool inside. I recommend stopping by for a casual breakfast. We got some coffee too and it was pretty good. read more

Bit of a disappointment. We'd been seeing this local donut shop on our way in and out of Historic Downtown and it never was the right time. But one early evening we just really wanted a good Cappuccino and something sweet since we had a very early dinner. The cappuccino was just ok, bland and no real taste. Too much froth. This place has a long line as I went on a Sunday morning at around 8am before the park opened. I waited around 30 minutes to get my donuts as there are people that need to look to see what they want as there is a lot of selection to choose from. I ordered the Jesus coffee (brown sugar) and thought it was okay, probably would not get it again. It was signature coffee, but it tasted like regular iced coffee. I ordered the Key Lime Donut and the Coconut Creme Pie donut, it was good and great. If I had my wife, we probably would have gotton the half dozen. It's been at least a year since I reviewed here. Not sure why but I can't seem to edit previous review. So here are corrections: 1. They DO have cake donuts (more later) and 2. The long-John's come in chocolate and maple, no vanilla. So - as previously mentioned, the donuts are delicious. Possibly best cake donuts I've ever eaten and they don't skimp on the sprinkles! And, they make donuts the size that Dunkin' and Krispy Kreme formerly made. The dang things are so tasty it is hard for me to grumble much about their price - well over $6 for two - and I really hate their name and especially their Logo - the picture of a bandaid on a donut is about as disgusting as can be. But - I went back, didn't I. So - a love/hate relationship, to be sure. read more

The hotel that I stayed at forced me to try this local donut shop since I had no status (free breakfast). No status is a good thing because it forced me to leave the hotel in the morning and try a local shop. There was no line on the Sunday morning that I was there. I arrived right after they opened. They had a good variety of donuts that I wanted to try. I ended up getting a maple bacon donut for myself and an Oreo cheesecake for my wife and daughter. My wife and daugther liked the oreo cheesecake that they shared. They thought it was unique. My maple bacon donut was larger than any that I've tried. I didn't like the texture of the maple bacon donut as it was kind of hard to me, but overall, it tasted pretty good. If fancy donuts is what you want, this is the place for you. read more

I googled best donuts in Branson, and this location came up with the most reviews. Of course, when you walk in, you smell the sweet treats! The decor was very impressive with lots of colors, fun and happiness. There was no line, no wait. The glass counter made you want every item! We limited our options with hugh Cinnamon Roll, Lemon Filled, Banana Pudding, Regular Glaze, Maple Bacon, and Old Fashioned. I never go to a donut place and not get an original regular glaze. It was moist, fluffy, and soft. Now I'm assuming the maple bacon was excellent because it was devoured quickly by my daughter. My husband wasn't impressed with the banana pudding or Lemon Filled. We weren't able to eat the Cinnamon Roll due to sorta hard. The Cinnamon Roll required heating, so we took it back to the hotel. It by far was delicious, not too sweet, moist, and just the right amount of cinnamon. You definitely want to share it because of its gigantic size. We did notice customers with their Donuts on an oven plate, so they may warm your order but not sure. I would rated 5 stars if we could've eaten the Cinnamon Roll in the store. read more

These were delicious donuts, and I love the sarcastic name. We got an assortment at 8pm. They were good cold but great when warmed up a few seconds(13, to be exact). Going back for the cinnamon roll as big as a cake, and try the apple fritter as big as your head. Favs were: Old fashioned buttermilk donuts were done right.
