Looking for a quick bite for breakfast we happened across this awesome looking coffee shop that also offered some breakfast options so we gave it a go. The building was beautifully redone and had table options inside and out as well as comfy couch seating areas inside. When we went to order we were told they were out of eggs.... So that limited the options and we ordered the biscuits and gravy. And we waited. When our order arrived, the server apologized for the delay. I had never seen biscuits and gravy look like this.. that being said, it wasn't bad but I wouldn't order it again. The banana nut muffin was warms and wonderful. The best part of breakfast!! While I hope to visit again, I also hope the food quality improves. There was also no soap in the ladies room and after mentioning it, it wasn't addressed before we left. read more

What a hidden gem! I stopped by this cozy little coffee shop and ordered their Rustic Pines Signature Coffee (hot), and let me tell you--it did not disappoint. Rich, smooth, and just the right balance of bold and comforting, it felt like a warm hug in a mug. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, with a rustic charm that makes you want to stay awhile. This is a drive-thru shop but there's no outside menu. Scan a WT code hanging from the wall, place your order online, and head for the pick-up window. At least that's what I understood from the scant instructions. At the window a staffer addressed me as if she expected me to order. I explained I had a mobile order. She retrieved it quickly. The whole order and pick-up process was relatively easy and quick. My hot latte with zero sugar vanilla flavor tasted decadent. The menu offers plenty of other decadent sounding coffee creations, plus some craft sodas. COTR's mission includes pouring part of its revenue back into anti-bullying, national park, first responder, animal rescue, and clean water projects. read more

My husband and I stopped in for a coffee and a little treat. Needless to say, this is now our favorite coffee spot and we've been to several! I usually order a surprised flavored iced coffee and these ladies killed it and they were super quick!! We loved the inside too! I hate giving negative reviews... but while this place is absolutely gorgeous and has such amazing potential, the service leaves a LOT to be desired. There was nobody in front of us. We walked in and nobody at the counter. The kitchen/coffee bar area is in the back behind a wall (weird, but whatever) and they must not have working cameras or a doorbell to be able to tell people are out front as we waited for 10 minutes just for someone to show up. In that 10 minutes two cars went through the drive-through (which we could see through the doorway behind the counter). A raggedy-looking dude finally came out just as we were getting ready to leave... honestly, we should have left then, but we figured we'd give this place a shot. We ordered our TWO drinks. They were out of whipped cream. The day before Father's Day weekend (also a bit weird, most businesses prepare for stuff like that). Cue a small family coming in behind us, who also got their orders in... right away, might I add, only because the guy finally came out to greet us. Two more cars go through the drive-through. There was a group of 4 people who had been sitting at a table when we came in. They now had funny looks on their faces. Five minutes later the guy comes back from behind the wall carrying... THEIR drinks. Keep in mind we'd already been waiting 10 minutes, took time to order, the people behind us took time to order, and these poor folks STILL hadn't gotten their drinks for 5 minutes AFTER we'd ordered. Just as we began to lose hope we'd ever see our drinks (another 8 minutes later), he emerged not with just ours, but the family's behind us too. I'm glad they didn't have to wait as long as we did. Oh and while we waited for our drinks? Another car went through the drive-through. The chai latte wasn't even good... but if you're desperate and REALLY need a jitter-fix, skip the pretty interior and hit the drive-through. read more

This place was pretty cool. Very cozy. Coffee was great. I had a double espresso on ice with cream. The service was good. I sat and got some work done and my wife sat in the "lounge area", with a fire, reading. When we are in the area again we definitely will be back. read more

The coffee was delicious and we enjoyed the breakfast burrito - which they cut in half so we could share and we didn't even ask. Service was friendly and patient as I had to go through their stickers. The space is beautiful and has that cabin/lodge feel. You'd never know from the outside how inviting and warm the inside is. We choose to come here as a final stop from a fun weekend. The pictures and reviews on Google had me eager to have a dessert drink (frappe). The exterior is welcoming and convenient to have a drive thru. It looked as though the interior was in process towards an event space. Basically it looked like potential. The seating was cozy as we waited for our drinks, but with the size of the space it felt a bit awkward. We ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch frappe and a Earl Gray Tea. The price for the drinks was comparable and we were both fine about the cost. The tea was a great 5/5! Exactly as they were expecting it to taste. The CTC frappe was 5/5 for presentation by 2/5 for execution. I'm wondering if they could adjust the blender setting because the ice was not blended in a way that allowed me to drink it. I had to wait until it melted to enjoy it. The flavor profile was okay, and thankfully not too sweet, which I appreciate. The whipped cream and cereal on top were delicious. The service was adequate. There were two people at the counter. One that looked to be engaged in a project, totally fine, there was a young lady there to take our order. There was a lack of engagement or interaction. I recognize customer service matters a lot to me and I am from out of town so it might not matter, but we would not choose to come back. Being asked for our phone numbers to order a drink could have led to "oh where is that area code from" moment instead of as minimal interaction as possible, telling me Id have a couple questions to answer (aka "to tip or not tip") then straight back to being on her phone. Overall, I would try it again (plenty of great Google reviews) but would encourage Coffee on the Rocks to keep making progress, the idea is cool and their shirts looked beautiful and felt soft, something I'd consider because ai like the shirts, but not to be someone that advertised for them. Food is great. Atmosphere is very comfortable. The service is fine concerning the serving of the coffee and food BUT the bathrooms are atrocious. I came in twice in a week. The first of the week and the weekend. The toilets were never cleaned. They looked exactly the same both times I came in. Disgusting! There is also no mirror in the bathroom. read more

Stopped by this place because I wanted to try a local coffee shop on the way to the golf course. After standing at the empty counter for a few minutes, someone came out to take the order. I ordered two coffee's; a LG black and a LG 2x cream & 6x sugar. The single black was good, but the other came out with four packets of sugar laying on the lid and lighter in color than a latte...my guess is they put 6x creamers in it. I'd give 2.5 stars, but the option is not available. read more

Space was cute, but drinks were overpriced. Paid almost $10 for the smaller size. Ordered the Mountain Lion frappe and you couldn't taste any of the flavor profiles that were promised. This is a very interesting coffeehouse with a warm wood interior. The service is great and their Nog Latte (which is seasonal) was absolutely delicious. They do have a drive-through; however it has no menu to view, just a QR Code to take a picture of and look at the menu. This could hinder some customers, hence my 4-star review. read more

So sorry to leave a bad review but this place was just a mess. Person behind the counter doesn't seem to know what is going on, wrong orders going to the wrong people, two people infront of me had their orders done wrong, my food was cold and some of it was inedible, and the coffee was incredibly bitter tasting. The atmosphere inside is very cute though. overall, I would suggest going somewhere else. Try the other coffee shop down the block. read more
