The best. Period…read more Vinny has supplied the tile and countertops for 6 of our bathrooms and 2 kitchens in two different houses. His selection and design eye are incredible. No BS when it comes to pricing - he knows how to treat a customer and won't try to upsell (he regularly suggests that we go with a lower-priced alternative when we are deciding between two options). The installation team for the granite/marble is awesome too - very professional and neat.

My client then showed me that the big box stores were more competitive so I called the big box stores and then figured it out that those places charge for delivery and drilling the hole for the sink and mounting g the sink, for polishing the edges, and each cut, etc so before you know it FMi was actually more competitive for the better stones !

*UPDATE* They returned for a second time and yes, the countertop was again cut incorrectly…read more So...still horrible. Horrible. We ordered a countertop with an OG edge (OG cost extra) from FMI on 12/28/2023, for our home project that started on 2/19/2024. After waiting weeks for FMI to come in and install a relatively small kitchen countertop corner area, and peninsula: one guy finally shows up, installs the wrong edged material in the peninsula, realizes the rest of the material was measured and cut incorrectly, and just leaves. We didn't find out what happened until 5:30pm that evening, when my mother got home from work and called me to ask why nothing was done right - including no OG edge, for which we paid extra. They had one job and got it completely wrong on day one. What's worse is that the construction workers did not go in that day, to give the countertop installer enough room to work (it's a small kitchen). So, an entire day of the project was completely wasted. We then wait another 2 weeks. Less than two days before they're scheduled to come back for the installation, we get a notice from FMI that they suddenly cannot make the date work and are "going to try to come in next Tuesday or Wednesday." Going to try. Next Tuesday OR Wednesday. Because of this second set-back from FMI, we have to once again push all other items further out than originally planned. At this point, FMI has single-handedly delayed a project that would have wrapped up in 3 months. Every other vendor has delivered on or before schedule. But we have spent weeks waiting for FMI to deliver on a project they assured us was well within their scope of expertise - of course, however, not before taking our money upfront. And we're still waiting.

Wow. Here's the response that he privately messaged me because he clearly doesn't want to publicly…read moreshow his true colors. First of all my review is neither false nor out of nowhere. Second of all you mentioned nothing about custom made saddles or me possibly confusing you for some other businesses, which is not possible because the employee from 2 weeks ago gave me your business card and I hadn't visited any other independent tile shops before you. Third of all why would I want to continue talking to someone that is evidently so rude to me for no reason from the jump? Me not wanting to talk to you after seeing your disrespectful demeanor isn't an attack and neither is me writing an honest review. As per my original review, if you weren't so rude from the beginning and politely told me I was misinformed I would have been willing to have a conversation. I'm all for supporting small businesses especially during the pandemic but not if the owner talks to and about me like this. This has to be the most unprofessional response I've ever encountered from a business. I was generous for giving you 2 stars.

We were TOTAL newbies and had no knowledge of what renovations would take or where to start with picking out supplies. After visiting a number of places in Flushing (and trying to squeeze details and guidance from surly sales associates), Josh was a friendly breath of sunshine! He walked us around the showroom, explained differences in tile and cabinet qualities, and was very helpful with this recommendations and big no no's to watch out for. After they measured our place, they quickly sent estimates and nice 3D renderings of my husband's dream kitchen. They worked with our contractor seamlessly and our beautiful kitchen was born! Also, one of the cabinet doors came damaged, and Josh quickly expedited a replacement door. We highly recommend Josh, Kenny, and their team. They know their stuff and are very patient (even when I gawked at the prices like a total n00b). We will be going back for materials for our bathroom renovation soon.
