Red flag no. 1- he was available the next day, I should have known something was wrong when his calendar was completely open. The day before the service I texted to see if he could come later in the day, he never responded. The next day I stayed home all day waiting for him, he never responded to any of my texts or calls. Then in the evening he said he didn't come because I "changed the appointment and rescheduled"!! I told him we didn't change anything because he never responded to my text the day before. We rescheduled for the next day, with no real time. The day of the service he said he would come before 2:30 pm. I ended up fixing the issue myself and didn't need him so I called him at 1pm and cancelled. He was so rude- said i should have called him since he was on his way. I said, I am calling you! Then he sends me the following in a text: "Just for future reference, do not call us again thank you for your business." Rest assured, i will never call this so-called company ever again. We moved into a home with 3 gas fireplaces so on occasion we need service. A contractor working on our home turned off the gas in our den fireplace. I knew how to restart my other two fireplaces, but the den unit was electronic. The service fee was $295 which seemed outrageous but let me continue. The tech, Geraldo (Jerry) came in. He wore booties from the front door to my interior. He laid out a quilted drop cloth and began the process of starting my fireplace. After getting the fireplace running, he shut it down and carefully removed the glass panel, disassembled the decorative logs, vacuumed with a filtered shop vac, then windexed the glass before reassembling the unit. At every turn, Jerry was precise and took incredible pride in his work. I had questions about operating the remote which he expertly explained. I asked how much training he received and he explained it was extensive. I absolutely marveled at how good the service call was. I hope the company realizes how good Jerry is and wish all my service experiences in life were similar.

The reviews turned out to be fairly accurate and I was glad that I chose him to be my contractor. It was refreshing to deal with a contractor who is a stand-up guy (his subcontractors said so as well which is always a good sign), provides good service (above and beyond) but also gets the job done. He and his workers did an excellent job installing flooring and painting in some rooms, redid a fireplace, and finished my garage.
