Ruby offers delivery free of charge within an 8 mile radius of her location which was very helpful. We set a date and time. She was understanding when on the day of, we shifted to an earlier drop off and met us accordingly. Payment can be made through Zelle, Venmo, or cash upon arrival. She was kind enough to send photos of the cake and I was absolutely blown away! She totally brought my vision to life! When she dropped it in person, it looked even better with glitter on top! The "handmade" ice cream sign caught my eye, so we decided to give it a try. I got the butter pecan. If you like super creamy, rich, milky-style butter pecan, this may not be for you. Their ice cream has more of an icy texture with a lighter flavor. I actually enjoyed it since I'm not a fan of overly creamy or overly sweet ice cream. It felt lighter and more refreshing. The rainbow sherbet had the same icy texture. One thing is that the ice cream melts very quickly, almost watery, even in 65-degree weather, so have napkins ready. One complaint was the scoop sizes. Our scoops were noticeably smaller compared to other customers being served around the same time, so the portions felt inconsistent for the price. Overall, if you prefer lighter, less sweet ice cream, you may enjoy this spot- just hope you get a generous scoop!
