Back again. Great service and good sushi. Definitely should give this restaurant a try. Pro tip: Go early for the happy hour specials.

6 Salmon Skin Handrolls. 2 orders of Salmon Belly. 1 order of Salmon. 1 Yellowtail Collar.

Randomly ordered sushi from Tadashi (I'm not from around here) and was pleasantly surprised with what I got. I fully expected TINY portions and to be hungry after my meal but I wound up pleasantly full and happy with the quality... Minus the fact that the salmon skin handrolls are TINY AS EVER. The hamachi Kama was delicious, perfectly cooked and they gave me extra rib meat, which was an unexpected surprise! The salmon belly sashimi (fatty salmon) was a real treat (it's my favorite) and I didn't realize I ordered 2 orders, but I'm thrilled that I did. The salmon (not fatty) was also delicious. The salmon skin hand rolls were also good but SOOOOOO small. Basically almost no salmon skin at all. Tadashi DID however listen to my request for no rice or vegetables or sauce, so that's nice! Over all, I definitely rate my meal a 4/5. A 4 purely because the salmon skin handrolls were just SOOOO small and because this meal of mine was OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive.

Stopped in for a lite lunch prior to massages. Service was friendly enough. We ordered water and green tea, both had a soap taste to them to the point we didn't drink with our meal. Sushi was okay but not something I'll return to.

Went to dinner last night with my wife at Tadashi. It was another great experience. We were seated in the back of the restaurant. It was quite busy but the service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and not too loud at all! We enjoyed spicy edamame, miso soup, soft shell crab salad and the Hawaiian Roll. All of it was so good!

I went with my family and we really loved it! (Even the little ones) And the food was so nice, I had the ramen and it was SPECTACULAR! The waitress was also very nice.

Have to end it with green tea ice cream I love it so much I got 2!

my favorite place to go every time we celebrate something! I love sushi and this is the best place I can eat all I want without thinking about the price thank you!

Great food, fast service and perfect date night spot. The food is pricey but worth the extra dollar. Ordered Sake and a good amount of appetizers. The best and most memorable appetizer was the soft shell carb! The spicy edamame was addicting and not to spicy, and I don't eat spicy stuff often. The seafood pops was very yummy tempura of calamari, scallops, and shrimp with a spicy mix on top. California roll even tasted different than ones I've had... Overall, the quality food and experience at Tadashi is one I'd go back for again and again!

Anytime we need a good sushi fix, Tadashi does not disappoint. My absolute favorite on the menu is the Hawaiian sunset roll which includes just about everything - a good mix of flavor and texture. Service is generally pretty attentive.

Came here for dinner with my lovely girlfriend as a special date night for our Austin trip from Houston TX. Had high hopes since we have had plenty of great sushi from other japenese restaurants back at home. Overall, Japanese food was good, non Japanese food was okay. Make sure you stick to sushi when you eat here. The entrees were a bit on the heavy side.

Great sushi at Tadashi. Please come to try our special roll and fresh sushi and sashimi plate.

I came here on a word-of-mouth recommendation, and I was intrigued before I even sat down. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a beautifully designed waiting area showcasing the restaurant's many awards and accolades. It immediately sets the tone that you're in for something special. We came with one goal: try as many things as possible. Saturdays are perfect for that because they offer dim sum. We started with the Pho Xiao Long Bao (Wagyu beef soup dumplings) and the Korean pancakes. The soup dumplings completely stole the show. Perfectly cooked, delicate wrappers, rich and flavorful broth, and with just a touch of chili oil...absolute perfection. I've had soup dumplings in many places, and these are hands down the best I've ever had. I say that with my whole chest. The Korean pancakes were also outstanding. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, with that perfect balance of savory and just a hint of sweetness. Every bite had great texture and flavor. For our entrées, my husband ordered the Banana Salmon. It was spectacular. It's one of those dishes that makes you question whether you've ever really had good curry before. The spice wasn't about heat, it was about depth, warmth, and layers of beautifully balanced flavor. I ordered the Crab&Shrimp Tom Yum Coconut Fried Rice, and this dish deserves its own paragraph. The presentation alone is stunning. The fried rice is served inside a fresh coconut, surrounded by banana leaves and topped with a beautiful orchid. But thankfully, it tastes every bit as incredible as it looks. The coconut adds a delicate sweetness without overpowering the dish. The crab was plentiful, sweet, and incredibly fresh, while the shrimp were perfectly cooked, not a second overdone. Dishes like this require impeccable timing because every ingredient cooks differently, and somehow every single component was flawless. It was one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever eaten. The service was equally impressive. Everyone was warm, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations based on their most popular dishes. They even told us about their live music nights, which immediately gave us another reason to come back. The table next to us was having Pho and needed with the mango sticky rice and I am coming back for that. Overall, 1618 Asian Fusion delivered on every level, beautiful atmosphere, exceptional food, and genuinely welcoming service. It's one of those restaurants that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even paid the bill. Highly recommend!

The menu has a great variety of Asian-inspired barbecue, smoked meats, shareable plates, and sides, so everyone in our group found multiple dishes they loved. Although I would reorder everything again, these are the following things that I still dream about: crunchy sweet corn fritters, char siew pork belly, smoked shishito queso, and smoked butcher's cut. The laid-back atmosphere made it easy to relax, share food, and enjoy good conversation. If you're visiting Austin with friends or family and want a place that offers delicious food, plenty of variety, and a fun, casual vibe, Loro is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

This is really disappointing because we genuinely love Loro and eat here pretty regularly…read more I currently have a hip injury, so we ordered curbside pickup. After receiving the notification that our order was ready, I waited in the designated curbside spot for about 10 minutes. Eventually I had to painfully get out of the car, only to find our food sitting on the pickup shelf while employees were standing around talking. The much bigger issue came when we got home. We were eating dinner while watching a movie in dim lighting when I happened to notice my boyfriend's chicken was completely undercooked. It was still pink throughout, with some areas even appearing bloody. By the time we realized it, he had already eaten quite a bit of it. He ended up spending the night very sick. Undercooked chicken is a serious food safety issue, not just a quality issue. Mistakes happen, but serving raw chicken can make people extremely ill, and that's exactly what happened here. I'm posting this because I hope management takes it seriously. We have always enjoyed Loro, which is why this experience was so shocking. I hope they improve both their food safety practices and their curbside service so this doesn't happen to someone else.

I've heard so many great things about this restaurant, and we finally made it there over Memorial Day weekend. It absolutely lived up to the hype. This place is truly impressive. You can tell every detail was thoughtfully designed and intentional, from the stunning interior design and décor to the incredibly creative menu. What I loved most was how the dishes stayed rooted in authentic Chinese flavors while adding creative, and sometimes surprising, twists. Everything we ordered was excellent. The Lobster Cheese Puff was a huge hit: crispy on the outside and packed with flavor inside. The Salmon Sashimi Mango Salad was incredibly fresh, bright, and crunchy. The sautéed pea shoots were so tender and fresh. And the Lamb Chop with Spicy Miso Sauce was absolutely unforgettable. One of the biggest surprises for me was the Veggie Fried Rice. As a native Chinese, I've had countless fried rice dishes over the years, but I've honestly never had one prepared quite like this before. It was so flavorful and unique. For dessert, the Chocolate Soup Dumpling was both creative and delicious, and the bunny-shaped sorbet was almost too cute to eat. Our waiter, Jake, was also incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the evening. He made our first experience there even more special.
