I made a request via Yelp for my project. I have a HUGE Oak tree that is the bane of my existence. The acorns are horrible to clean up and keep up with in the fall. I wanted to cut it down to the stump. Carlos came and spoke so eloquently about the health of the tree and the importance of keeping a healthy tree for the environment and the shade benefits. He gave me a price to trim and a price to remove. He told me what each would require and we made a plan. His dad is the arborist and Carlos is the front end manager. The collective knowledge about trees is so impressive. You can tell they really love what they do. Carlos was on time for the estimate and he was early for the appointment. His dad came to help and they are a great team. They gave my tree a very needed trim, chipped up all the branches and cleaned up everything from the area. In addition to cutting my tree, a neighbor came and asked if they could cut a limb for him; they did. Then they added in a branch from a tree in my sister's yard down the street. This last wind storm took a few branches down all around our neighborhood. They were so kind to let others just ask for help because they were there. On time, check On budget, check Great job, check Job well done! I have an arborist to help me manage this crazy tree. It's still standing because Carlos talked me out of cutting it down. These guys are the most professional tree service I've ever dealt with and heard of. They showed up on time to give me an estimate and sent me a quote in writing, along with proof of insurance. They slowed up as scheduled, cut down a large Live oak, ground down the stump along with six others, cleaned up the entire yard, planted nine trees, and stacked the wood I wanted to keep. Mine was a HUGE red oak in a fairly confined area with many other obstacles. I watched almost the whole process and was amazed at how flawlessly they took down this tree without damage to anything around it. They had a setback with the truck and grapple used to remove the debris, but explained it clearly and came back as soon as they were able to get the repairs done. An unforeseen challenge but they explained everything clearly. The job was very difficult but they stuck to their estimate and cleaned everything up beyond my expectations. Carlos Sr. even took time to explain what they were doing, he answered my questions immediately and I learned a great deal from listening. The individual that came out to give an estimate on the trees we needed cut completely down and removal was very professional and courteous. He actually provided the lowest estimate along with the certified paper work without me having to ask. The only reason I did not hire them was due to the company I did go with gave the same exact estimate amount but they were personally recommended by someone we knew.
