Bring your friends, bring some food, and bring your puppers!!! Their beers are AMAZING!!! They have lots of different sours etc. The flavors were amazing, and there were so many different rich and complex styles. While we were there, there were 4 other dogs, which was fine with us. The service was strange. I didn't exactly get the feeling we were welcome, which is strange. Also, they kept trying to clear the glasses for the ladies, even when they still had beverages in them; but they left the men's glasses alone - even when they were completely empty. Isn't that weird? I say, go for the dogs and the beer but don't expect friendly warm service. read more

This place was located in a very ritzy looking place of Orlando, they don't server food at all, but do get food trucks to provide meals for those who want it. It's interested how they get you to order beer, very unique but not well adverstised. Overall, a fun place to attend. read more

Tactical Brewing really is great. It's got everything, ideal location, outdoor seating, and of course; great beer. They're constantly changing their brews although they typically keep 2 or 3 on there all the time. Some of their brews can be pretty kooky too. Not too long ago I sampled the pho-sho brew. No lie, it straight up smelled like pho, and the taste was... interesting, not a beer for me, but where else can you find creative brews like that? There aren't many places that's for sure. They also have more traditional beers though and even hard seltzer/juice sometimes. I am a fan of how they have the outdoor seating set up. It's facing the beautiful village center of Baldwin Park, and conveniently located right next to an Italian restaurant that apart from your typical italian fare sells pizza by the slice just in case you want a little something with your beer. I've come here after bike riding a couple of times and if I'm not feeling like having an entire beer, they do 5 oz pours for like 2 or 3 bucks depending on what you get. This option is also good in case you're waiting to eat at Osprey, or Seito's and don't want to get full on beer, but want a little something to drink and pass the time while you're waiting for a table. Hope you enjoy it as much as I always do! read more

Tactical Brewing - Cuddly Chupacabra was the best out of the entire flight $12 - Breweries Near Me - Orlando, Florida

Tactical is hands-down the best brewery in Orlando; possibly Florida (not to come across as a fanatic but this place is that good). The head brewer is a sour beer savant which makes Tactical a solid date night location. But, if you favor the classics, there's the house Lager plus several in traditional options available. Their staff and bartenders can help you pick out a beer (if you're unsure) or provide a sample if you're stuck between a few choices. The taps change constantly, so you always have a reason to pop in and see what's new (plus their to-go options are substantial). Bonus points for a first responder and military discount. read more

Tactical Brewing is one of those spots that gets it right. The second you walk in, the wall of military patches and challenge coins hits you with a super cool touch and gives the place a ton of character. It feels like part brewery, part clubhouse, and part tribute wall. The vibe is laid-back but lively. There are TVs for sports, live music in the corner, and people laughing over flights. It's the kind of place where you can chill with friends or strike up a random conversation at the bar. I went on a Sunday, and they had live music, which was awesome. The beers? Awesome. I tried a flight, and every pour was different, but all were well done: a light, crisp one to start, a darker malt-forward brew, a fruity one with just the right balance, and a tart one that popped with flavor. I'm not a Frith beer guy, but I love the blueberry one ( and I loved it #13). They're definitely not afraid to experiment, but they still nail the fundamentals. The service was quick and friendly, and the staff clearly loved working there. The merch wall and barrel displays add to the whole vibe. You can tell they've put a lot of thought into making the place feel unique. read more

I have something in common with a Supreme Court Justice. I like Beer! And this brewery in Baldwin Park delivered on said liking of said beer. They have about a dozen (give or take) beers on tap, and some packaged in cans to go. One of my joys in life is beer samplers! Well, not just beer, any sampler. It takes the decision making out of deciding which delicious food or beverage to order. Tactical Brewing puts the sample price right on their menu and you don't have to order 4. They also put the IBUs (bitterness scale) and Alcohol content on the menu too. That was a tactical decision I believe. As someone who does not like bitter beer (thanks 90's Keystone Beer Commercials) or overly strong beer, this was helpful in ordering. They had a lot of flavored brews and the one in particular that caught my eye was one based on the infamous (or is it famous) Orange Julius. They had a beer that captured the essence of this delicious treat. I love wheat beers and their Hefe was one of the better ones I've had. Cloudy and wheat-y, like an an overcast afternoon in Kansas, this beer hit all of the notes of a classic German wheat and reminded me of the reason I fell in love with this style many moons ago. Their Paloma Cocktail inspired beer also delivers on flavor without overwhelming you. It had 0 bitterness! They also had featured beers from other breweries (Ravenous Pit and Bowigans) showing they support the local beer scene. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and were sanitizing the bar and tables and door handles regularly. They also had cool shirts and hats for purchase. They don't serve food, but you can order from the many businesses nearby. So Run to the Hills* to this brewery just South of Heaven* (Winter Park) if you want to support Veterans. Any Modern Day Cowboy* should pony up to this saloon where you can imbibe with the likes of Mr. Crowley* inspired themes. Get there early to get a table inside or out or you may be Caught in a Mosh* of patrons waiting to get in. All Aboard!!! (*All of these songs from Maiden, Slayer, Tesla, Ozzy, Anthrax played during my visit). Beer and Metal go together like Beer and Pizza or Beer and Wings or Beer and Whiskey. read more

Tactical has a covered outdoor seating area off of New Broad Street in Baldwin Park with a fantastic location right next to Lake Baldwin. I'm a big fan of sour beers and I heard that this location had some good options for me to try out. Walking into Tactical for the first time you'll notice that it's veteran themed and (I believe) all of the staff are veterans as well. Their story and mission of tactical is unique and I love what they stand for. The staff was very nice and the service was fairly quick for me to get a flight of four sour beers. I tried the following: #5 Improvised Explosive Noms, a Passion Fruit and Vanilla Sour #8 Lazer Dragon 3000, an IMP Sour #10 Melancholy, a Watermelon Sour #14 You're Going To Regret That, a Pink Lemonade Sour IPA #5 is by far my favorite and for those who enjoy very bitter sour beers, this one is for you. #8 tastes like a gin & tonic with a hint of Dragonfruit. Definitely tastes less sour and more dry with a hint of flavor. #10 is very smooth (not too carbonated) and is more sweet than it is sour, almost like you are drinking juice. #14 is a classic Sour IPA. Initially you get the taste of an IPA but it finishes off with the taste of a sour beer. The have 11 other draft beers to try from and quite the variety of types of beers as well. Overall I would highly recommend this place for lovers of all types of beers, but even more recommended for those who enjoy sour beers! read more

My wife and I were here for a day due to waiting on a flight. We intended to travel to multiple breweries and Tactical Brewery was 2nd on our list. Due to the service of Sedrick, we ended up spending the rest of our night at this brewery. The Beer was absolutely fantastic and the service and hospitality of Sedrick made us stay. As an active duty service member of over 10 years it's a great place to drink and spend quality time, I would recommend anyone to visit thanks to Sedrick and the outstanding beer. read more

Still 5 Stars, but gotta shout out their great take-out setup during Covid 19. I stopped by the other day and caught them just before they closed. Tactical J's set up a tent out front to provide additional shade while you order at a table set up right at the front door. This means no one is actually entering the brewery other than the staff. Ordering was quick and they filled a couple cans for us on the spot. We paid with a card which never had to exchange hands and we bought a gift card to help support. The beers were great, as usual, and it was a super quick process. Highly recommend you grab a beer! And keep a lookout because they're still doing cool releases! -------------------- 5 Stars for a brewery where the staff is friendly, the drinks are tasty, and the vibe is festive. Right in the heart of downtown Baldwin Park sits Tactical Brewing. I was able to grab a table around 4:30pm this past Saturday and was glad I had because an hour later, the place was absolutely packed! Packed with adults, kids, and quite a few pups. The people/dog watching alone was pretty entertaining. You order at the bar and then take a seat with your drink. I wasn't sure which beer to pick from the first two on the list and the bartender let me take a taste of each to make my decision. I got the coconut white stout because of the light coconut aftertaste that made it feel special. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I can still say that it was a great time. I am so glad BP got a biz like this and I can't wait to watch it grow, not only the business, but also the city. read more

Brews were great. Entertainment and good vibes genuinely had a great time and will be back

Located in a great location and close to some good nearby restaurants as well as having many excellent pop-ups come through. The staff is friendly and very helpful in making a choice if you have questions. The beer selection is constantly being updated and a decent range to choose from. You can also purchase cans to drink there, which is always a nice option. Overall my visits to Tactical have been enjoyable and I will continue to come back. read more

I love it here! I've been in Florida for work and have visited twice. If I lived here, I'd be here all the time. It's very chill and the employees are awesome. The beer is also great, my favorite is Brew Crime (collaboration with True Crime Garage). Definitely go visit here if you're in the area! read more

Fun and friendly vibe. One of the best locations for a brewery I've ever seen. It's walking distance to everything in downtown Baldwin. The inside isn't that big but there's a couple of TVs and there's even a console setup in the back for playing some games while you drink. The outdoor chairs are probably where I prefer to spend my time. A flight of beer on a hot day just hits the spot out there. The beer itself is very good. A lot of creative brews. I definitely recommend the IPAs and Sours here above all else. read more

Tactical Brewing is a local gem amongst the noise of many, many, many, craft breweries in the area. Located in the heart of Downtown Baldwin Park (near the lake), this brewery is a wonderful addition to the very popular strip of restaurants, shops, and bars in Baldwin. I'm not even fully sure where to start. Tactical is one of the few breweries that has a healthy balance of rotational beers of different styles. Unlike other breweries that do one style pretty well and the rest are meh, Tactical has category killers in every category. This has helped them shine amongst the competition and rise above the rest. They've won more awards than most realize because of their incredible brew team. My suggestion is to check out their social media accounts for bottle drops (the pistachio beer they had around Christmas was to die for), and then check out their board of events every week! Trivia on Wednesday is incredible! read more

Visited here on a Friday night around 7pm! There was no line to get a beer and they have really good selections of different types of brews. It's the place you'd want to go to if you want to try new beer, for all different beer lovers. They had a lot of customers sit down and relax, which made my boyfriend and I trust this place for a pint. Only giving it 4 starts because the employees were not that friendly or welcoming. They saw us stare at the menu for 15 mins and didn't offer us any suggestions or to help us narrow down what kind of beer we're looking for. The tables were also not cleaned properly. They'd wipe it down, but there are still hard circle stains left. I'd come back for the drinks, but not to stay. read more

Had an opportunity to visit Tactical Brewery on a Monday evening. It was great to see it was open on a Monday as typically breweries are usually closed for brewing. I ordered the Stairway to Nothing. New England IPA, great flavors with a citrus taste. They have 14 beers on tap and have very friendly staff. Besides their quality of beer. The brewery was founded by veterans. They are strong supporters of helping veterans and first responders. You don't find many breweries that are founded by veterans in the area. Location is in a great area of Baldwin Park. Many restaurants near by. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. Great job Tactical. read more

Interesting location for a brewery. The beer is pretty good, smooth and very well made. A good selection of flavors and styles also, pretty trendy and up to date with the stuff that the trailblazers are putting out, meaning the beers that everyone who knows about beer talks about. My only quip: no flights. No one will ever be able to try all the beers in the menu in one sitting/visit. That means: no word gets out there. And it is simple to sell a flight, all you have to do is pour 4oz of beer instead of 12oz in the SAME glass, without need for those silly little taster glasses and the clunky wood board. But that is me and my biz sense... Cool space, the crowd is more akin to a regular bar, that is also interesting, and helpful people. I'll stop by again when they get those flights rolling. read more

Tactical Brewing is easily the best microbrewery in Central Florida. If you normally don't have a taste for beer, this place will open you up to a whole new world of flavors and options. I am particularly fond of their frozen Meloncholy, which is a gluten-free watermelon sour. Super inventive and refreshing- they put a little watermelon sour candy on the end of an umbrella pick for you. Gary, Quinn, and Cedrick are regular bartenders my husband has gotten to know and Chris is their head brewer. This place is a veteran-positive establishment. They do events for veterans and offer discounts for veterans and first responders. You won't be devoid of food options- you can get your meal from a food truck outside the establishment or from any of the wonderful Baldwin restaurants and eat it inside or out. There are frequently performers on the stage and little events like Trivia. Added plus for me is that one TV always has Gossip Girl playing.... yeah guilty pleasure lol! This place is just awesome, please try it! read more

*Updated review* I went to Tactical last night shortly after they re-opened for "dine in" service. I have been to quite a few places during COVID and I must say Tactical was probably the best at sanitation that I've seen. We were there for about two hours and the staff was constantly moving. They were wiping down tables, door handles, bathroom doors, counters, etc every 15 minutes or so. I've seen the usual tables and bar tops but I haven't seen many places be that attentive to touch points. They are one of my favorite breweries in town so I was extra happy to see them open back up for "dine in". It was obvious that I wasn't the only one that feels that way, it was busy from the time we got there til the time we left! It makes me so happy to see people supporting local businesses, especially breweries (I work in the biz). I really wanted to update my review mostly to say THANK YOU to Tactical for everything you guys do. Keep making great beer and thank you for taking the extra steps to ensure your patrons stay healthy! Cheers! read more

Heard about this place because they have a running club? LOL This place is a pretty typical brewery. The atmosphere wasn't very inviting but the beer was worth it. Tried a few before I settled on a Thirsty? Why wait? "Snicker doodle inspired white stout with Lactose, coffee and a hint of cinnamon" BOY this was to die for, I really enjoyed. I also had a (Few) "Standard Issue Fanny Pack" This was a DNEIPA Double Dry Hopped with Citra and Cashmere. Notes of Intense Tangerine and Citrus" This one took me by surprise as I am not an IPA or Citrus beer kind of lady but a lot of patrons ordered so I got curious and gave it a try. Unbelievable, really great citrus beer. Also did you know they have a running club?? Meet up at 6:30 and take a run around lake Baldwin (about 2.1 miles i think??) and get $1 off a draft after. My husband and I are in town visiting friends and family and heard about this brewery. My husband being the beer connoisseur that he is, was very adamant on checking out a military themed brewery because of his time in the USMC and just to see what it's all about. Let me go on and tell you that Tactical Brewing by far exceeded both our expectations in every single aspect. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the owners, we felt welcomed and they took care of us immediately. We ended up trying quite a few different beers and I honestly cannot say that there was a single one that wasn't absolutely amazing. My husband was very into their Hefe beer and when I tried their sour beer called CRAYONEATER, it was game over. We have gone to dozens of breweries and beer hauses in many different states and I have to say, this place had THE MOST tasteful beers we have ever had. The owners and bar staff are fantastic as well. They truly make you feel like a part of the family the moment you step in the door. Doug was able to tell me all about the brewing process and how sours are made and about the set up they have going. Chris supplied a million and one jokes and kept everyone entertained. Brie was just the most adorable person I think I have ever met. Overall, every single person we met there was nothing short of great. The brewery has a couple of other fun things to offer you as well. It's situated in such a cute part of town that we never even knew existed. You'll have many food options around you so don't worry about needing to leave. You can literally spend all day at this brewery and just run to get a quick snack. The brewery itself does sell their own flavored popcorn, so definitely try that out while you're there! Before you leave don't forget to grab yourself a t shirt because not only do they look really awesome with their logo on it, but they are BUTTERY SOFT. Grab a bottle opener (made with high quality metal. Super cool looking and can fit right into your wallet) and get some stickers while you're at it because their logo alone is really neat. Overall, my husband and I had an amazing time at this brewery and had a great experience with their customer service skills. Their beers are flat out the best things we have ever had and the only bad thing is that we don't live closer to here. I truly hope that they are able to ship cans out in the near future because with how much we enjoyed Tactical Brewing, we would order them by the case load. Thanks for a memorable experience guys! We WILL be back! read more
