So to start off - the concept of the restaurant is wild. The literally do have two full menus. A full Mexican menu. It is not small at all there are tons of choices. When you sit down they bring you complimentary chips and salsa for the table and it is good. The salsa has a nice kick to it and the chips are thin and crunchy. I ordered the fajitas and they were delicious. The sushi rolls are HUGE! We ordered a few to share and it was SO much food. I enjoyed each roll I tried. The gyoza is also good. My dad said the ginger salad was good. We liked the Bubba roll and the Angry Dragon roll. The overall experience was good. Our server was helpful and quick to check on us. The restaurant is decorated with their logo and mostly looks like a Mexican restaurant. It's fun and didn't. I would go again. read more

ABSOLUTE SLOP... I gave this restaurant three tries. The first two attempts were mediocre at best, but I just got done eating the absolutely ***WORST*** Mexican "cuisine" meal of my life tonight, and trust me, I've eaten more Mexican food out than any other cuisine, stretching the entire United States, and a few in Mexico itself. I ordered al a carte as I typically do (for the variety and to see if they can do multiple dishes well). I received three main course items sloppily placed into a single container drowning in a chili powder and salt heavy sauce such that I could not taste the tortilla or protein...it all tasted like a chili powder salt lick (btw, I am NOT sensitive AT ALL to sodium...I have been home cooking for 3 decades and fully appreciate a well-seasoned dish). This was the worse slop I've ever eaten at a Mexican restaurant, and to boot, the meal cost $20 for three al a carte items and a small side of rice. At the counter, I asked for a small side of their spiciest salsa (which I always do) and they up-charged me $2 for a literally a single two ounce serving of what appeared to be their house salsa with a ton of guess what....a handful of chili powder in it. Their prices are absolute highway robbery for the quality of food they are serving, and it's quite obvious that since they are the only Mexican restaurant in this entire county, they are gouging the local Caucasian population that doesn't know any better. At this quality, their prices should be half of what they are, and if that were the case, you still wouldn't find me eating there. You'll get no more chances from me, you low-quality scam artists. Surprisingly this place is pretty good. The King Kong roll was huge ! It was decent as well. This place is super clean. Everything was good! Very flavorful! Would def give it a try. Service was attentive! read more

This is one of the best Sushi spots in the Ripley/Dyersburg TN area by far. Great customer service and love the family ambiance. I have enjoyed every roll I have tried. My favorite is the Amazing Roll. Tried the Garlic Shrimp for the first time. Won't get that dish again, it wass hard to eat because it was extremely salty. The Amazing Roll was delicious as always. Don't let the name fool you there is much much more than just tacos and sushi inside this fun and eclectic restaurant. The menu folds out to 5 full pages. Half oriental food and half Mexican. Same as the restaurant it self, one side decorated Asian the other like a cantina. Everything was clean. Service was excellent too. Very nice folks that seem glad you walked in. Unusual these days, I'm afraid. The food was served hot and was also very delicious. We've only been twice but will try their sushi rolls next time. This place is decorated so cool and the concept is new. Cool logo too. I thought it was a chain but it's the one and only. It's a gem, worth the drive for sure. This was by far one of the BEST Mexican places that I actually loved everything I put in my mouth! The Queso isn't pictured, but it was smooth, creamy, and delicious! It wasn't watered down like most Mexican spots! The chips were fresh and not too salty. My shrimp was grilled with smokey, seasoned grill taste! The onions and cilantro were fresh. I don't understand why people weren't lined up outside! I mean, this was the best quality, portion size, flavor, authentic Mexican food I've had in FOREVER! The rice was fluffy, seasoned, and hot! The beans were full of mouth-watering flavor and seasoning. I would give you a score of 100%! Now let me not leave out the staff was friendly, courteous and the menu has something for everyone! I was very skeptical about stopping because of the name, but my tastebuds did the happy dance!! The location is in a rural area, but I promise I will make the 45 min drive! This place is always hit or miss for me. Sometimes I go and the food is really good, and other times they don't do so well. The chicken and rice was ok. The serving amount was enough for two people, so that was a positive. Whenever I try the Mexican food, the cheese is not melted or they use mozzarella and it is not melted fully. We have been wanting to eat at this restaurant for several weeks, we kept seeing people posting about how great the food was. We got a chance to stop after a baseball game and it was just ok. The service was great, it was a nice clean restaurant but I wasn't impressed with the food. There were 6 of us that ate. Our bill was $120. Me and my mom both had sushi rolls, they were ok, noting to just rave about but they weren't bad. My husband had hibachi steak dinner and he said it was pretty good. Our daughter only had an order of Mexican rice and our son had kids chicken nuggets and fries. In my opinion $120 plus the tip was kinda high for what we got.
