    Southwest chicken salad.

Local favorite eatery that is consistent on providing a good meal. Most everything I have tried is good. The atmosphere is also nice. I always have good service and they are quick at getting your food to the table.

Cheese dip is always fire. Salsa too tomato like, and waiter forgot my aunts raspberry chicken :( vibes are good feels like I'm in Mexico. Authentic tacos amazing makes me want to shout I love this life I'm living OMG. Sweet tea might actually be liquid gold. Sweet nectar of the el patio gods. (They didn't forgot the raspberry chicken just didn't write it down. Good memory ig)

Upon arrival the cashier (now I know) looked at me and I told her there was two of us. She pointed to the host who was tucked over to the side. Once seated we gave our drink order along with the extremely runny queso I ordered. The menus felt textured from the lack of cleaning. The salsa was some of the best; I love their salsa. We were soon served tepid food, which as you can guess tasted like every other Mexican restaurant out there. The bright side was my chimichanga was packed with chicken, although it was slightly dry. The towel they used to wipe the table next to us looked dry and was sitting on the bus cart. I sincerely question the cleanliness, and the staff is not friendly. The atmosphere is alright. It's probably decorated better than a lot I've visited.

    The number 13 is awesome!

My food was much better this time. Service was good. I had the number 13 (beef enchilada, beef burrito, rice, beans). Everything was hot and tasty.

I This is the 2nd plate that was brought to me. The first looked nothing like it. I had to complain about the food presentation. The 1st plate was full of chips little chicken. Here's the kicker it's the same meat, less chips and more cheese added Never coming here again!!!!! Employee Ricardo was the server

Finding an excellent Mexican Restaurant in West Tennesee is easy to do, just come to El Patio. This place looks like it was remodeled in the last 3-5 years and they did an excellent job. The Santa Barbara Mission feel is accented by a hand-made tortilla station, large colorful tiled mosaics and some interesting Frida Kahlo and Botero artwork ( I think it was Botero who drew the larger round happy figures) . The salsa was very good and not to spicy although it was a little on the runny side, thats just personal preference, I would gladly go back and drink it with a straw. What I really enjoyed about this place was the Chile Bola. I could say its just a stuffed pepper but instead I will say its a refreshing alternative to a chile relleno, no breading and no deep frying means you will not feel like you just ate a boat load of saturated fat and sodium. I don't think my server gave me his name and he accomplished his objective in serving me but it wasn't like walking into a waffle house. Also , the water just takes awesome in this part of the country so skip the soda and enjoy some H2O. There was also a bar that looks like it seats about a dozen with pink backlight. If I still got boozy I am sure I would have been persuaded to meander over, but , alas, the sober life is the good life. Plenty of parking and I saw a LEO in there, the cops always know the tasty spots.

Patio quesadillas with pico, nachos and salsa with the all famous cheese dip and an order of else patio nachos. Awesome food

ABSOLUTE SLOP... I gave this restaurant three tries. The…read morefirst two attempts were mediocre at best, but I just got done eating the absolutely ***WORST*** Mexican "cuisine" meal of my life tonight, and trust me, I've eaten more Mexican food out than any other cuisine, stretching the entire United States, and a few in Mexico itself. I ordered al a carte as I typically do (for the variety and to see if they can do multiple dishes well). I received three main course items sloppily placed into a single container drowning in a chili powder and salt heavy sauce such that I could not taste the tortilla or protein...it all tasted like a chili powder salt lick (btw, I am NOT sensitive AT ALL to sodium...I have been home cooking for 3 decades and fully appreciate a well-seasoned dish). This was the worse slop I've ever eaten at a Mexican restaurant, and to boot, the meal cost $20 for three al a carte items and a small side of rice. At the counter, I asked for a small side of their spiciest salsa (which I always do) and they up-charged me $2 for a literally a single two ounce serving of what appeared to be their house salsa with a ton of guess what....a handful of chili powder in it. Their prices are absolute highway robbery for the quality of food they are serving, and it's quite obvious that since they are the only Mexican restaurant in this entire county, they are gouging the local Caucasian population that doesn't know any better. At this quality, their prices should be half of what they are, and if that were the case, you still wouldn't find me eating there. You'll get no more chances from me, you low-quality scam artists. Bye and good riddance.

Surprisingly this place is pretty good. The King Kong roll was huge ! It was decent as well…read more This place is super clean. Everything was good! Very flavorful! Would def give it a try. Service was attentive!

I'm unsure how something this good ended up here, but I'm happy it has. The tongue gorditas were little pockets of flavor; the lengua being done just right. $1 tacos (Tuesday's only) were a treat: the asada, pollo, and pastor being good and filling. Stop on by, the only real Mexican joint in Union City.

The front of the store is jammed with fresh produce in a small fridge and a wall of assorted baked Mexican pastries. The rest of the storefront was squeezed full of different hot sauces and other snacks and drinks. The back of the place was where the food magic happens. The menu is stupid simple (and I mean this in a good way) I opted for the torta cubana that I've heard so much about and IT WAS THE BEST DECISION. I've never had bread like it---super pillowy and soft. The sandwich was stuffed and overflowing with Al pastor and asada and a questionable hotdog/ham love child. The sandwich was huge and I definitely left with a happy full belly. My friends ordered tacos and apparently there was nothing super special about those...it's probably still worth coming back for $1 taco Tuesday! All in all, give this place a shot if you're into those hole-in-the-wall experiences. You won't he disappointed!
