However, the food I've had at the bar, at the conference and now at this restaurant have been surprisingly good. I stand corrected on what I expected from the quality of the food. I'll start by saying the service is absolutely incredible. I came in here 35 minutes to closing and was never rushed for hurried along. My server, Haylie, was an absolute gem and was very engaging in conversation. The ambience is definitely Denver meets Lodge meets rustic meets current and is a little shtick but definitely warm and inviting. The pricing is a little bit higher than normal but this is a resort and as far as Resort pricing goes if it's completely normal. Haylie recommended the cottage pie and it did not disappoint. The mashed potatoes or soft and flavorful the slash beef underneath was tender and seasoned well. All in all is really good take on a traditional Shepherd's pie. I understand now why the place gets decent ratings. It seems like it's a really solid meal at decent pricing with impeccable service. Haylie thank you so much for guiding me in the right direction. Would easily come back here

The menu is super cute and I loved the theming. The menu was also pretty small. The whiskey wings appetizer was the star of the show for me. Super flavorful and delicious! I also got the bangers and mash, which usually I love, but these were not my favorite. Not something I would order again! Our server was friendly and overall the vibes were nicce!

Hey, cool place! Casual ambiance. Sit where you want. Good drinks menu. The salsa we received was a green and a red and they were full flavored delicious! I ordered two tacos a la carte: Apple Cilantro Steak and Braised Short Rib. The tacos arrived quickly, were delicious. Especially the Apple Cilantro Steak. Note that the tacos are street taco sized. This means smallish at around 4-5" inches each. Nice that they are double tortilla wrapped. Our waitress checked in with us a couple times to make sure we had everything we wanted. We will likely return.

When the weather is nice, the patio seating is a nice bonus and adds to the laid-back vibe. I didn't see any happy hour specials on either food or drinks, but the margaritas are reasonably priced, especially the house margarita. They seem to be best known for their taco plates, but I went with one of the bowls instead. While it tasted quite delicious, the portion size felt a bit light for the price; I had this same concern looking at all the online photos of the tacos, too. Service was friendly and straightforward: just walk in and seat yourself. The bar area has plenty of TVs, perfect for if you want to watch a game. It would be perfect if they had happy hour specials. I would maybe explore your options if you want good value, but it's a nice casual place that's worth a stop if you're craving what their menu has.
