I spent 20 minutes driving here only to get here at 11:40 spent several minutes at the drive through screen, pulled forward only to be told "ten minutes closed" UPDATE YOUR HOURS THEN I waisted my time going to a closed restaurant only because they couldn't be bother to update that they closed at 11:30. The food is good but the service is slow when it's open and now they close so early that I probably won't be able to visit after work ever again. I'd rate it a higher if they were actually open when they said they were though. But I can't in good conscience rate higher since I am now frustrated and hungry. read more

0 stars for this dump Come by on a Saturday at 7am just at opening time The staff was late about 10 minutes I finally put in my order for 2 breakfast burritos of steak and chorizo that I have been getting for years after about 20 minutes I got my precious food and I also got me a grande agua fresca of piña I about passed out when she charged me over $28 dollars for 2 burritos and a agua fresca Needless to say we will not be supporting this local business no more even though my Waite is all about local business! read more

I placed a pick up order for one burrito with a side of sour cream. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast burrito with refried beans. They forgot my sour cream and I returned back to work to have a burrito FULL of fatty bacon and no beans. It was gross, do not recommend! Only ordered one burrito and it was wrong?! read more

So by no means in anyway does this place live up to the name.... I don't like to leave reviews like this but, I believe you should get the truth about a place. I'm here to help the business get there name out there. Help them grow, and achieve the best success ever. I was here by accident to be honest. The place I wanted to go to was so packed. Santiago's... anywho I walked in and it was a small place but not to bad for a taco place. I stood in line waiting to place my order which seemed like 30 mins. There 3 people in front of me, when it came to my turn I placed my order. Carnitas burrito and carne asada burrito. They lady taking my order was pissed off.. She was talking smack big time in Spanish about all of the customers, and complaining about the drive thru. Let's just say everyone in that work place should of been let go. She must of thought I didn't know what she was saying. I speak Spanish very well. So when I asked her what the problem was she was just in shock and you could see she was like dang it!!! Anyways I didn't make a big deal about it. I just waited for my food. I had already waited 20 mins just to order. As I communicated with the other customers and asked about the place they said it use to be a good place but it had went down hill. Most had been there for an hour waiting not including the drive thru. So I figured there just busy. So I waited but about 45 mins go by I asked about my food, I was told we will get to it when we get to it. I finally had enough as I could hear a the cooks just talk smack about all the orders and the customers. Let just put it this way! If you have any doubt when you read my review then don't go. I don't know the quality of the food since I never received it. I ended up leaving. And I wasn't the only one. If you do go here do not pay for your food after you order. Wait to get it if you have that kind of time. Once you pay your there till you get food. Can be up to an hour long. Good luck here! Taco's rápidos never more! read more

Tacos Rapidos - This place - Mexican Near Me - Brighton, Colorado

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Bacon was burnt, eggs had all kinds of black shit on them, I'm assuming from a dirty ass grill. "Salsas" were basically water. These burritos are not worth 7.25! Go down the street to Taco Bell because even that shit tastes better. Fucking gross read more

I've been coming here for 3 years now and the Prices keep getting higher and portions are getting smaller. read more

Driving through Brighton stopped in here to pick up a quick lunch. We were kind of skeptical because you had to get it to go do to Covid 19. So we went across the street and ate our lunch in the park. Tacos Rapidos did not disappoint. We ordered one combination enchilada with a burrito which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the super nachos with Carne Asada. The orders were so large we ended up having to take home leftovers. We ended up eating it again that evening and even reheated it was delicious. Can't wait to go back to explore the menu. read more

See all

Is good food but they are closed whenever they want last time I went at noon and it was closed is very annoying

This place was average. It was fast and it was good. It had awesome flavor. The price was average. I would recommend.

Loved. The smother burrito- green sauce was out of this world..will come back many times

Came through drive through food was real good and good customer service !!! Carne asada tacos were big , salsa could be hotter ..

This place must have changed cooks, it never was really good but did ok in a pinch. However the past two times this has felt like we're being served leftovers scraps too many peppers and onions, the meat at least what we could taste. Just a friendly warning stay away this place won't be missed. !!! OVER PRICED FOOD SCRAPS!!! read more

I cannot believe their prices are double of what the 2 denver locations are and the food sucks.

Love the food here. Their green salsa is amazing. Definitely a different type of Mexican food. Chili is hot I wish they were never out of the jalapeño and carrots. Tortillas are the bomb! Super super slow wait times but everything is fresh! read more

I really love their carne asada fries! One thing though, they're not "rapido". Food takes awhile but it's way worth it. Also, sometimes around 1-5 am... the food is not fresh and i feel as though the cooks don't want to make an effort. Overall though, fries are a must try! Yummy! read more

Good food, but they charged us 10$ more than we bought and tried to say things were more expensive... when they weren't. Both on the menu and online menu. Not going back. Not worth getting ripped off when things are already expensive from what we ordered in the beginning. Nice trying it, but will be the last time for us and my family - who actually introduced us! Not worth it read more

if I could give a 0 star I would. I can't believe the prices they are crazy. save your money and time coming to this place, I order 1 adobada fries and 2 tacos they charge me $27 dollars this is unbelievable, plus they take forever to make your food and the portions are so little. not worth it. read more

Wasted my time once again trying to grab a late night snack. they advertise they are open until 12 but that absolutely is not the case multi times I have been here at or around 10 and they do not answer or when someone does come out to greet you they are extremely rude and will tell you they aren't open and slams the glass door in your face. the food is never worth the hassle but this place esp is not! the food is alright, most of the time will destroy your stomach but it's the only place that is open... well at least advertisea that it is. would give this place a -5/10 and that's being nice 1 star is even too much for this place. Save your time and money and find another place there are plenty around. read more

This is the go-to, late-night, Mexican fast-food drive-thru in Brighton. It never really occurs to me to eat here unless I just left a bar, and need some carne asada burrito to soak up some o' that alkyhol. (And christ forbid that I would go to Taco Bell, or, as I like to call it, Caca Hell). These guys can be a little hard to communicate with, even though I speak a smattering of Gringoese, but perserverance pays off, and you drive off into the night (uh, not ME, of course, the, uh designated driver....drives...), clutching your bag of burritos. Get home, and commence to stick yer face into a BIG ol' tube of gloriously greasy, beefy, beany, cheesy, guacamole-y GOODNESS. Slather liberally with that weird, runny green sauce, and chew on your roasted jalapeno for extra bathroom adventures in the morning, and you, my friend, are enjoying life at it's FINEST. read more

This was a fantastic restaurant! It's family owned and the hospitality shows. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back! Great great restaurant! read more

are you looking for mountain-mex? Its not here, thank god. I'm from San Diego and Colorado is THE hardest place to find real mexican food. Want carne asada, rolled tacos, carnitas, adobo, salsa verde? This is the place. Otherwise, go to mountain jack's burrito shack. read more

Very good carne tortas ,aswell as burritos and carne frys are always amazing horchatas are good here too .

I love this place. Good prices for authentic Mexican food. this place is legit'! ;)

We like the chorizo breakfast burrito and the loaded chicken chimichangas. I took stars off because the food is VERY greasy and the carne asada and chorizo can be VERY chewy. You can expect a long wait time for your food and don't expect them to alter any one dish for you even if you are willing to pay more for it. The Fish Tacos were disgusting and the tostada was very soggy. Overall its not bad if you want a breakfast burrito or if you are ordering chicken as your meat. read more

People who helped me were nice enough and the food seemed to be truly authentic but probably to authentic for this gringo. The atmosphere was nothing but bad. The smell of used grease along with everything looking dirty is enough to keep me away. The size of the building looks big but the seating area is very small. Someone asked to use the bathroom and they were quickly told it didn't work, I think that might be an ongoing answer but I don't know for sure. I love the town of Brighton and I try and go to the locals for food and service but this one I will stay away from. I'm bummed because I really wanted to like it. I'm not sure there's a lot they could do to fix it except a total renovation. read more

It looks like you might get stabbed or spend the rest of the night on the toilet. But I promise you this is the best fast Mexican food in Brighton. Go with a Colorado burrito, you won't regret it. read more

I used to live in Henderson and would love stopping by Taco Rapido whenever passing through Brighton. Their Colorado burrito with their green chili sauce is amazing! read more

The drive thru is fast and the girl working the window was very friendly and helpful on our visit. The portions are huge and the quality is what you would expect from this type of Mexican fast food. The Aquas and Horchata come in a large size that is like a Super Big Gulp and they are great on a hot day! I would drive thru just to get one in the future. read more

Tacos Rapidos - Tacos Rapido has a drive thru! - Mexican Near Me - Brighton, Colorado

We go to Taco Rapidos all the time. The problem I had was we went late at about 10.30pm and the food was spoiled. We live too far away and it was too late to go back. We had tacos and Nachos. The taco meat was spoiled,I spit it out. The Nachos were hard as a rock. So all we could eat was the steak off of it. I hope we don't get sick later for doing so. We were just so tired from working late. It's a bad idea going late it's better to go around dinner when the food is fresh I guess. I do know my family won't be going back. I will let my huge family and friends to do the same. I don't want anyone getting sick. I would like to know how the health department isn't involved yet? read more

This is the worst mexican place ever! Meat was unseasoned, bacon was harder than a rock. The carne asada fries were TERRIBLE! Guacamole tasted like it was about to turn. At first glance it's an ok price for their size, but you're just wasting money. Take my word for it, don't come here. read more

Brighton is packed with Mexican joints. some really suck but not this one. its my fav Mexican joint in town. prices are good, flavors are great and the portions will fill you up. be warned the seating is limited. read more

Every time I've gone here, the food has been great. I tried it the first time with everyone around me singing the praises of this place, but tried to go into it without any bias. I have to say, the Taco Rapido fanatics weren't far off. Their beef burritos are fantastic and everyone loves the carne asada fries. Definitely a great place to go if you want some fast quality mexican food at a good price. read more

Would give 3.5 if I could. Love the Colorado burrito, but have always been a little off-put by the cleanliness of the place. Food could stand to be a little less greasy, but all the hot sauces are fantastic and the meat portions are great. read more

TACO DAYTONA 500 GREASE PIT- Wow, this place is a grease pit! Not to mention the sweat dripping off the face of the customer service/ cook rep. Now, I took into consideration that this place is fast food; so my expectations were not high, but I have never witness a Taco Bell rep. come to the register, wipe their sweaty face with a towel and say, "What do you need?" That kinda, grossed me out! At least the staff look healthier at Taco Bell. I also took into consideration that night help might be hard to find. When I got my burrito I took one bite and had to throw it away, it was full of grease. I could taste more of the grill than the food. Makes me wonder when the grill was last cleaned? You could hold the burrito over the trash can and ring out the grease. Nasty! I later found out that this place uses lard to cook with, you know the pasty, white bacon grease that looks like white butter, caked on bottom of frying pan after it has cooled to room temperature. The thought of that stuff, clogging my arteries, just gave me chills. This place is perfect for a teenagers who want to mature their black heads into full popping zits. Just don't eat here unless your stomach has a strong constitution! Because all you're consuming is food drenched in grease! read more

Tacos Rapido! Just Horrible! Spent $110 on a large breakfast order of huevos ranchers and breakfast burritos. Burritos were very dried out from being over cooked... Huevos Ranceros orders were all wrong per how they were ordered, tacos Rapido just made the orders all the same way.... Despite being ordered different ways. Example, Asked for sunny side up eggs and NO tamatoes... all orders had badly overcooked and burned eggs and were all completely smothered in a watery pico de gallo... asked for fried potatoes and cheese to be added to the Huevos Ranchers, I was charged but none of the orders were with potatoes and cheese... when I placed this phone order to Taco Rapidos, because it was a large order, the woman taking the order was interrupting and seemed to be rushing me while taking my order. I also could barely understand the thick Spanish accent as well. I wish this were the only food quality and bad experience I've had from Taco Rapidos, but it is not. I can say as of now however, It will be my last.... Big 1 Star no bueno Taco Rapidos! read more

Carne as Ada is amazing. Enchiladas are authentic and creamy. Salsa and picos were tasty!!

I frequent this place at least once a month. Unless you're fluent in Spanish, communication will be just a little difficult. But ordering can be a rather comical experience. Yet overall, the service is very friendly. Love the drive thru even tho the speaker box doesn't always work. The servers will usually just wave you around to order at the window which I don't mind. Last night, I had the carne asada torta (no guac). it was so fresh juicy and amazing. Just melted in my mouth! My son usually craves their two beef taco combination plate and my daughter enjoys their tostada combo plate. I love that they always give plenty of sauces with the meal so you hardly ever have to ask for more. Their carne asada burritos are like nothing else I've ever tasted! Whatever they put it the sauce definitely works( it's probably guac :) ). I have to agree with the previous review when they say its great for those nights when you're a little lopsided and are in need of something good to soak up the nights overindulgence :) I also agree with the mention of their guac. WTH is that stuff? It's definitely not of avocado origin. Don't eat it. Unless it's in the Carne Asada Burrito read more

Burrito was nasty. The food wasn't that good. The inside is pretty divey. This place probably tastes good after a case of beer. Should have gotten Taco Bell instead. Actually threw out 3/4 of the burrito it was that bad. Never again. read more
