This place is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. The service is HORRIBLE and ontop of that you HAVE to pay for them to do their job to service you without having a choice. They did not explain what was happening correctly, and when we asked questions they were VERY rude and not helpful at all. It was like they were STEALING from us and they did not care one single bit. Then the food is so small it seems like you ordered off a kids menu and payed a lot of money for it, and for it to not even be any good with nasty parts of food inside of it and very little portions. Overall this place is a 0/10 and will never go again due to the service being horrible the food being bad, and how unprofessional they were. The food took forever to get to the table and they did not even come check up and see how we were doing while we wait. Unfortunately we went early but would have loved to try their lunch items like ceviche and shrimp cocktail as well as their alcoholic drinks in "jarros" (Mexican pottery). I started with a bowl of sopa de fideo which was so yummy and comforting then I ordered the tacos de papa and a tamarindo Paloma, You can tell the tortillas they use are homemade and made out of love!!! The torta was huge! And sooo delicious!I had 2 Paloma's they put chamoy and tajin on the rim but I couldn't help myself but u licked them clean before the pictures I just thought the cups they used were the cutest!! My waitress was super attentive and was so helpful! I came pretty early so it was a bit empty but I'm sure on a busy day it gets lit I would absolutely come back! read more

BEST TACOS IN BRIGHTON !! Living in Brighton I have driven past this place a couple of times and decided to stop in and give them a try. Everyone is so welcoming and immediately greeted us upon entering. We started off ordering 6 tacos to taste test them and we ended the night eating 18 tacos. The food was ok. We were a little confused by the soup, one bowl was set down for four people with no explanation and we weren't sure what to make of it. About 20 min later three more bowls of soup appeared. The lentil soup is pretty tasty. The service is soooo slow. We saw our drinks sitting on the bar for a solid 15. Went here today and it was SO GOOD! Super clean inside, delicious tacos (I got al pastor), really tasty agua fresca, and they even started us off with some wonderful consumé! My parents found this place a few months ago and we're bragging about it. One day we finally decided to give it a try with them. OMG!!! It was so delicious from start to finish!! They start you off with a soup of the day so far we have had pozole, lentil, and fideo they were all authentic and amazing! Then we order some micheladas (red beer) the flavors they use in there were tasty and refreshing! On top of it they slide in an amazing piece of beef jerky. We have been here once a week for about a month now and every single plate has been just so amazing. The tripe tacos I have looked for everywhere because most places just leave them too chewy but they do a half and half so that they have a crunch to them and just perfection. Their green chili is delicious and has some heat to it. Menudo, huevos rancheros, tacos, tortas, I mean something as simple as rice and beans could be sold alone at this place! We have been bringing all our friends and will continue to do because along with the great food the service is just as great! read more

Don't waste your time. The soup they've substituted for chips and salsa tasted like dirty dish water. The salsa they do have are in ketchup and mustard bottles that are communal and not refrigerated so who knows how old they are, or how long they've been left out. The steak in the tacos would have turned into jerky if it was cooked any longer. The queso fundito was awesome but no chips came with it so we had to eat it with tortillas. We meant to stop by here for months, why we didn't I have no idea. So glad that we finally did on a Saturday evening. While I do like getting chips and salsa, the lentil soup was good and was a nice change before the meal. The tacos were fresh and very tasty. My wife had a veggie burrito (not on the menu) which was also very good. We'd like to see a couple of veggie items on the menu, but they are very accommodating if you ask. You won't get massive portions like you will at some restaurants, but it was was still filling and a good value. We're definitely coming back. read more
