First time dining here, even though we live a few blocks away in all honesty it looked a little rundown from the outside..but don't let that fool you they have a wonderful menu with large variety. Prices were extremely affordable and portions were large.! Not sure if it's a husband wife that owned it but a man and woman waited on us and they were so friendly and nice! Food was quick. I'm thinking they are known for the tortas and you can see why they're absolutely huge and fabulous.! we will definitely run down here for a quick dinner night again! read more

LOVE THIS PLACE!! My son and I stopped on our way home from GRIT game in Greeley. Everything we had here was amazing and not like all the other Mexican food we all have had a million times. (Same options, but better, fresher...amazing!) The service made everything even better! So nice, caring and genuinely proud of everything the made/served. It isn't exactly on the way home, but we will definitely take the detour to visit this place again! read more

We went in because we were passing it and were hungry but definitely not for the cub appeal. The food was not good and I definitely say look elsewhere if you want good food. I got the smothered burrito and it was just blah. Literally tasted like a crappy burrito from the frozen section of the grocery store. The inside was not appealing at all either. I won't be coming back any time soon. read more

We just got done eating at this restaurant. I know it has only a few reviews, but it earns the high marks! We loved the salsa, guacamole, street tacos, chorizo and eggs and molcajete. The food was freshly made (including yummy house made tortillas) and the service was excellent. I wish I lived closer, because I would come eat here again and again. Did I mention the street tacos were $.99 each??? Try it if you happen to be in Fort Lupton! read more

Wow...why did I wait so long to try this place!!! Absolutely amazing. Definitely go for the barbacoa and carne asada. The best! I actually ordered deshebrada tacos and my hubby got the plato del rey, a huge combo plate. Both our dishes were great, but the barbacoa is a whole other level of flavor town! While waiting on our food the owner brought us both a barbacoa taco to try. I'm already making plans to come back just for it. So good! Then while we were eating the owner brought us samples of drinks they have, one of cantelope, one pineapple, and the traditional horchata. All three were great. I can see how the cantelope would be so refreshing on a super hot day! I highly recommend this over the other Mexican restaurants in town. Warning from owner: on weekends expect a 20 minute wait. But I personally promise it's worth the wait!! read more

So stoked!! Great Mexican food!!! 99 cent tacos... many meats to chose from. The owner and his wife are super friendly. The only downfall... I think their hours are a little off. I have headed there for lunch a couple times and they are closed (maybe not open on Monday??). That being said...I judge Mexican food on how it tastes WITHOUT green chili.... sorry Colorodans.... I like to taste the food and not the soup you all like thrown on top (how do you even know what you are digging in to on a combination plate?!?!?). When looking at the menu, the prices were outrageous, but thought the food must be really good! The restaurant doors were locked when we arrived around 11:30, even though their website said they opened at 10:00. I like to support local restaurants but this one was horribly disappointing! We were the only customers in the restaurant and service was extremely slow. There was only one employee we saw, the one who unlocked the door for us and turned out to be our waitress. She was polite, but very slow in getting our drink order, food order, and ticket. I could have understood understaffing, but as mentioned, we were the only customers in the place. When our food came, I was almost embarrassed for our waitress. The food hardly filled our plates. I ordered a chicken dish where the chicken breast had been split in half. It was tough and hard to cut and and chew. It was maybe the size of a small burger, very small and about 1/4 of an inch thick! According to the menu description, it was supposed to be marinated. It tasted like the "marinade" was ketchup mixed with a little Tabasco. Other plates were very skimpy on food. Burritos and enchiladas were small and almost almost laid flat on the plates. I guess I could deal with it better if the cost was about ¼ of the price we paid. No drinks for 4 totaled, with tip, around $80.00!! Will never go to this place again! I typically don't do reviews but this experience was completely "over the top" bad in all areas. We all left feeling cheated, and hungry! Don't waste your money here!

Since the revamp, the center section with the four high tops near the kitchen is probably one of the worst placed set of tables I've ever been at. I kept having to tell my husband "elbows in!"
