Pretty good coffee... Nice mug.
Stuart T.

Pretty expensive breakfast sandwich for such a bad neighborhood in Irvington. Also the person making my food got the order wrong and I was in a rush and didn't feel like waiting for them to make the missing part of the sandwich while letting the egg part get cold. Coffee cup was cute. I suggest these guys should lower the prices, the customers in the area don't deserve egg sandwiches that cost over $5 even if they manage to get the order right. Not returning.

My sister ordered from here a little bit of almost everything off of the menu. I tried the chicken quesadilla and the chicken burrito it was full with so much flavor and the portions were generous.

Kids 2 pc tenders and fries

Ordered delivery on Sunday night and was happy with my food and the service. I placed the order and even though yelp estimated that it would take a little over an hour my food arrived within 30 to 35 minutes, hot and fresh. I ordered the 2 pc chicken tenders with fries for my son and half a chicken with rice and beans. The kids meal brought enough fries to feed a village and I thought i had gotton a bargain for the price. The roasted chicken was seasoned really well and cooked to perfection. It was still juicy and not overcooked, or undercooked. The rice was flavorful and the beans were a nice touch to the meal. I also ordered a milk hot chocolate and it was sooooo good im thinking of ordering again just for the hot chocolate. It tasted awesome and it was still hot when it arrived. The driver was super friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend them.

My go to lunch spot from UberEats. The chicken is always juicy and I love the extra cilantro they put in my rice. You also cannot beat the under $10 for a half a chicken.

I have driven by this restaurant probably more than 100 times but got to visit only recently…read more Pretty decent spot for Mexican food and family friendly. Unfortunately, visited during Cinco de Mayo, place was packed, so service wasn't that quick and there were few mixups. I don't know how it is during normal days, so giving a pass. Everything we ordered tasted pretty good though. Food portions were decent and seasoned well. Drinks too were good and strong, so nothinh to complain about.

I am 0/2 at this restaurant. The first time I stopped by on my way home. Went inside and asked to…read moreorder take out, but was told the kitchen was closed despite the fact that every site said closing time was an hour later and a couple of tables were still occupied along with seats at the bar...Okay... My second attempt was on Tuesday, Cinco de Mayo, for a meetup. It was my first time meeting everyone so of course the first question I asked our server was if they could split checks. I was told they could do that, not an issue. Great! 30 minutes later, as we were STILL waiting for our drink order, our server comes back and says the manager informed her that they were not going to be able to do separate checks. We argued back and forth, tried suggesting multiple compromises, explained the situation, but our server said no because she had already put the drink orders in. She finally asks if we are staying or leaving. That's when I became annoyed--didn't you just say you couldn't accommodate us because our drink orders were in? If you can cancel then you can accommodate. There were still multiple empty tables so I asked if she could just charge my order to an empty table and close me out immediately. She still said no because we aren't at that table (I'm not sure what difference it made since she was going to close it immediately anyway). I didn't appreciate the attitude I got from her because I had specifically asked about splitting checks, if she was frustrated she needed to deal with it better. While I can understand limiting checks on a busy night, you had already agreed that splitting the check was ok at the beginning of the evening before things got super packed. The courteous action was to at least honor that. I only had $20 with me so I changed my order to one margarita. Ultimately, It took an hour just to get our drinks then another hour for food and half the orders were wrong so they had to go back to the kitchen. They even brought me an order of wings (which I rejected) because they saw me with just my drink and assumed an order was missing and the person next to me had ordered wings. Drink: The margarita was really good and strong, but a little sweet because they weren't using fresh limes. I can't understand why it took an hour though. I'm SO glad I stuck to my drink, because of course it was a hot mess paying the bill with 7 strangers, with one suspected attempted dashing??? (Drama!!) I dropped my $20 and went home. I think I'll take the hint from the universe and stick to the other Mexican spot for a while.

I especially love the outdoor dining area. It's really nice to sit outside when the weather is good. I just wish there was a little more seating available outdoors because it's such a great space. The inside is also very cute and lively, but it can feel a little crowded at times, especially during busy hours. One thing to keep in mind is that it's not the most handicap accessible, which may be difficult for some people. They also do not do separate checks, so that's helpful to know before going with a group. They are also closed Mondays. Overall, the food and atmosphere definitely make it worth visiting, and I would still recommend it to anyone looking for great Mexican food in South Orange.

This time, I stopped in on a Friday night to check out the upstairs. The drinks were a 10/10 -- absolutely delicious and strong without skimping. The daiquiri and the chips and salsa were definitely the highlights of the night. The food was just okay. The garlic shrimp were pretty good, but the rice lacked flavor and the refried beans were barely a tablespoon spread across the plate. We also had the shrimp cocktail appetizer, which was just alright -- the shrimp were a little tough. Service was great. The waiter was friendly and attentive and moved fast! Overall, it's a fun vibe and a great spot to hang out and catch up over drinks, but I'd come more for the bar than the food. There's a municipal parking lot a short walk from the main entrance.

Once we entered we got greeted by the host and got seated promptly. The place was pretty big inside and was not too loud. Ordered the tacos pollo ($14) which came in 4 and was pretty good. Also got the sopes carnitas ($15.10) which also came in 4 and was really filling and delicious. I like the sope better. The Coca Cola ($3.25) is the glass bottle type that you see at Mexican restaurants. Overall this is a solid Mexican spot and I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for tacos and sopes. * Great service

She seemed as if she didn't understand so I asked her if she understood what I was saying. She waved her hand toward the bathroom and said "okay". When I went to open the door it was locked. I said, "oh sorry" and then waited patiently. She comes out, I go in. As I'm leaving I say, "Thank you". When I'm almost to the door the young worker said, "you're not supposed to use the bathroom". I turned around and asked her to repeat herself. After I explained the earlier exchange with the lady that said I could use it she actually said I was lying. I told her I wasn't, but then explained to her that we all are working on the same side of servicing the community, we should be sticking together, and there is nothing wrong with allowing a delivery person to use the restroom. She continued to be argumentative and say I wasn't supposed to and that I was lying. This establishment was completely empty during the afternoon on a Friday. I have decided to leave this review because, as a black woman, I cannot be sure if her disrespect was racially motivated, especially in this social climate. I would never recommend someone patron a business that treats potential customers in such a classless and demeaning manner. It's unfortunate that she felt so comfortable being so disrespectful to a grown woman despite being addressed respectfully. The owner needs to sit her down and explain how the way she handled that was inappropriate and how split decisions can affect business. She definitely has some maturing to do.
