    Pork tacos

I ordered 3 tacos with extra onions. The food was very dry. My mom took it back and she asked several questions. We love less than 5 minutes away. They redid the order and it was just as dry. Please check your food and taste your food before leaving. We even had the receipt and she was still very short and somewhat rude.

Left to right: asada, lengua, and birria

Good tacos, good service, and all from a food truck. The parking area is kind of small, and it's hard to find a spot if it's busy. I ordered 3 tacos: asada, lengua, and birria. All were tasty, affordable, and authentic! The hot sauces had great flavor that complimented all of the tacos, and they had a really good kick to them. I would definitely come back, and recommend their food to anyone looking for tasty and authentic tacos.

Friday 12/8/2023 I always see this place when heading home and it's usually always packed with parked cars waiting for or eating their food. After a while of knowing about it I finally decided to try it. I made a takeout order of the birria combo 15$ (it comes with a quesadilla, tostado, and a taco with consome) to be able to try some of their items without spending a lot. The birria quesadilla was pretty good. The birria taco was solid and the texture of the taco resembled more of a hard shell taco rather than a soft flour/corn tortilla. The birria tostado was decent. The consome was okay. Overall, the Mexican food was decent but I've definitely had better.

This location is a taco truck that gets a little tricky to visit when it's busy because of the parking, but does not takeaway from the quality of the food or services! They have benches placed to the side of the truck so you can grab food, and trash bins to dispose of your trash afterwards. When you've ordered your food they give you buzzers to notify you when your food is ready which is clever in such an open space, mad kudos to the owners. They have a large menu, and everything I ordered was a 10/10 and reasonably priced. I'm pretty particular when it comes to tacos but everything I chose was phenomenal! I also ordered Elote as a side and it was amazing. I socialized with the people who were also waiting for their meals and had met some friends a long the way so I can say the atmosphere is very welcoming! And even saw a rainbow while eating, truly out a movie scene I plan on coming back and bringing more people!

This is my go to taco place in the area. It's not much and it's really bare. There are pot holes entering this place and it it very tight when it gets busy, but the flavor is here. The flavor is what gets people to come here. Ever since inflation has been going haywire, there has been less and less ingredients in the taco, but they keep the prices the same. Just be aware of that. It sucks, but I guess businesses have to cut corners somewhere. I like what they have been doing recently. They have online ordering and a vibrating number dongle. It was pretty bad before where you have to wait for your number to be called so many times. I have waited outside for 40 minutes before - in the cold. So, these upgrades are marvelous. They do their best to help and cater to everyone. I would like to keep supporting them.

Don't sleep on the birria here! The #2: Birria combo comes with a quesadilla, crispy taco, and tostada. Served with consommé, red salsa, grilled Serrano peppers, cucumber, and radish. I've found that most places under salt their consommé so you can add salt to your liking. Not here, it's perfectly seasoned to my liking. The meat is tender and flavorful. As I took my first bite of the birria tostada, without dipping in the consommé , I drizzled a little bit of the red salsa on top. This is what I want to taste when see those birria videos on YouTube/ TikTok/ Instagram etc. The tortilla remained crispy all the way home. The sopes also remained crispy all the way home, fillings all in place. The sope was filled with asada then over top: shredded lettuce, crema, and cheese. Perfect balance of crispy, savory, refreshing, salty, and creamy. I already have a bucket list for my next visit: Flautas, and all the other tacos. Note: The red salsa is spicy. If you like spicy, you'll love it!

Amazingly delicious birria tacos. The soup is super flavorful as well. Must give it a try!!!

The word on the street is that they make some delicious tacos birria! My friend and IG have raved how delicious these tacos are. So its not your average taco. They make regular tacos but the birrias are tacos on another level. Its number #1 on their menu. You get 3 of them for $12.00 The shell is a deep fried flour type tortilla. Its red. It comes with meat and cheese. Your given a beef type broth to dip your birria in. It makes the the flavors come out. They are very generous in their portions. Yolis the employee who took my order was very friendly. I think she might have been the owner/manager, she worked hard in taking orders, making our orders and getting out to us, in a timely manner. Its best to order ahead and get here early! You will wait. The parking lot is small. and its not very easy to get in or out. Theres another things I wanna try but I will be stuck on their birrias for a minute.

The food is so good. I have friend that comes from all over to try this place. The ambiance is great they even have a place to eat outside. The Birria taco w/consume is my favorite to go meal. I love the esquites. The burrito is so delicious and fulfilling. I also tried thier gorditas and they were a good snack. The tacos are sooo good it's crazy. I know it can come off as plain but the sauce is what kicks it up and the meat is just flavorful and tasty. The service is great you just have to order ahead and consider in a 20-40 min wait. Totally worth the wait. Please try this taco truck and I know you won't regret it.

Easily one of the best taco trucks I've been to. Made the drive to give it a try and it didn't disappoint! The workers were very friendly, and it only took about 10-15 minutes to get my food on a weekday afternoon. Everything was fresh and packaged well. Birria Tacos. Lime, cucumber, hot pepper, hot sauce and radish(opted out) come on the side. Broth is hearty with chunks of beefs. So good! The hot sauce is more of an acquired taste, but honestly the tacos didn't need anything anyway, they were excellent. It's a bit of a drive for me, but if you live in that area, you're lucky!!!

There's a reason why this truck always draws a crowd, the birria tacos! Located off 355 (20220 Frederick Rd), there is always cars and people here, so get here early or count on them selling out. We arrived on Sunday at 2ish, and they had already sold out on esquites (off the cob elote) since apparently someone drove in from PA and bought them all. We were some of the last few to get birria tacos before they sold out. We ordered the Birria de Res con Consume ($12) and the Birria combo. The Birria meal with consume had three brisket tacos, the combo had a taco, tostado and quesadilla. I have to say dipping the quesadilla in the beefy stew made the combo the winning choice for me! The consume that comes with the combo and regular meal is pure beefy goodness. We ordered a ham torta (not on menu; the cashier specialized for us) and we started dipping that bread into the consume. The tacos, torta, and quesadilla we all just overstuffed with delicious meat! We finished the meal with a tamarind fruit cup with mangoes and cucumbers (fruta). The wait was around half an hour, and so worth it. Excellent birria tacos! Please stop by here if you are in the mood for tacos, reasonable prices and friendly service!

This used to be one of my regular go-to spots, especially when I was craving a fresh veggie burrito, and this visit reminded me exactly why I loved it. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and packed with quality ingredients. One thing I've always appreciated about this restaurant is the consistency. This place is hoppin'! Whenever Yelp asks me if a place is hip, I never know what to say -- until…read morenow! This place is definitely hip! What a vibe! So cool, fun, nice décor, super-helpful and responsive staff, lots of people eating outside and inside, and quite a selection of foods and beverages with lots of room for personalization. We came here because they have lots of vegetarian things and are known to be accommodating of requests regarding dietary needs and preferences -- what a relief from the get-go, even before arriving! Parking was easy but since I wanted to go to the bookstore afterwards, I parked near that, around the corner, and had a little amble along the road, looking at various shops and restaurants along the way, plus the greenery of the park .... I got the Avocado Tacos and asked what I could get instead of rice -- one option was the El Greco salad, so I got that. I felt a bit weird about it, though, until it was explained to me by our waitress that this wasn't just a Mexican place but rather a Mexican-Greek fusion! Oh, wow! Mind got a bit blown by that -- cool! Well, with that info., my mind relaxed ... and I awaited my meal. This is a good thing, but if you're in a hurry you might want to get something ready-made or more quick such as soup or salad that needs little to no preparation. For me, I'd rather wait! (I mean, whenever possible, that is.) So ... it was delicious! I was hungry. It was filling. The avocado was all very fresh, no yucky pieces, ha ha! Plenty of flavour, texture, colours, visual and all kinds of other appeal for the tongue. My two corn tacos under each heap of goodness did fuse together -- presumably from the moisture of all that lay on top of them -- so I could not separate them as I usually do, but the truth is that it ended up being so much food, I didn't even finish my tortillas, anyway. The tempura tacos (Aha Baja) have warm and crispy pieces that are not too big -- and that reduces the potential of a too-greasy feel. In a word, good! Or just plain 'Mmm!' The Roasted Potatoes are absolutely delicious! The Black Beans are totally tasty! The amount of desserts is incredible -- and all are house-made, wow! I could not believe how long the list was! Oh, yeah, and the appetizer of chips and salsa was crispy and yummy. The guacamole is creamy and has a hint of spice that varies by bite .... The food was all great, and so was the rich Lemon and Ginger tea was incredibly good! It looked and felt rich and thick -- such a surprise! I enjoyed it immensely. I was also offered honey, sugar, and milk to go with it if I wanted, and found out that the owner is a tea aficionado and that's why their teas are so good! If you don't like noisy environments, you might want to avoid the busier times (such as weekends) or eat outside, weather permitting. This is such a one-of-a-kind-place -- not to be missed! Yay! :-D

Solid 4.5/5 This…read moreplace is located in a high-end residential community in Gaithersburg, not far from Rockville, MD. There are lots of street parking but not a dedicated one in front of the store. However, when I went for a happy hour, I had no trouble getting a spot. As you step in, you realize how tiny this place is but don't let that fool you, it's still an outstanding choice if you're in the area. As a vegetarian, I wasn't disappointed with their selections. They had quesadillas, yuca fries, bowls and salads, and tacos options for me. I went with the inspiration and avocado tacos, with the side of quesadillas and yuca fries. I thought that perhaps the side quantities might be small but once the food came, I realized I may have ordered a lot. The quesadillas and yuca fries were good, nothing special, but not bad at all. The winner for me were the two vegetarian tacos. Both had distinct but very mouth watering flavors in them. I was bummed out that none of them were that spicy, but the unique flavor profile on both more than overcame the lack of spiciness. I enjoyed my meal because I was well taken care by the serving staff. They were attentive, welcoming, and friendly. I didn't feel that they didn't have time for us as that can happen in the happy hour rush usually. Both my friend and I concluded that this is a place to come back to in the near future. One suggestion would be to also have a vegetarian option in the "Legacy Corner" or sandwich section but otherwise I enjoyed the variety. Lastly, I was slightly disappointed with the Daddy Guac and the chips we got with them. The guac size could have been bigger but more importantly is that the chips were too thin that they kept breaking apart trying to scoop up the guac. Overall, I would come back again. Next time, I'll try to have a drink or so to see if they have knocked it out on that side as well.
