    Al pastor sope

This place was recommended by a friend and after months of knowing about it I finally gave it a try and was so glad I finally did! The place smells like authentic Mexican food from the outside. Outdoor seating is shaded which looked nice, but I sat down in my car since it was cold. Now my food was ready at a reasonable amount of time and it's honestly the best taco place I've tried in town. The al pastor meat is always my go to for everything! They seasoning it to have the perfect amount of flavor and the meat is never dry! If you love tortas you must try theirs. The torta is flavorful, a little greasy, and so satisfying. I wish I could finish a whole one because my tastebuds always want more. Anyways, **you can't go wrong with tacos, sopes, or tortas** that's all I've tried so far.

The carne Asada burrito and torta were delicious, the Birria tacos aren't good and the the torre is just a mess they literally throw 3 different types of meat and 3 tortillas and mix it all in 1 plate . Not that good for that price. THE PRICES ARE OUTRAGES 51 dollars for- 3 tacos 1 burrito 1 sope 1 torta 1 torre

Some of the best Carne Asada Tacos I've had. They load up homemade tortillas with a ton of asada which isn't greasy or grissley like many other places, serve your own toppings bar with some killer salsas. On a prior visit here I ordered the asada plate which was exceptional, not photographed here. This is my go to when I'm in the south east side of town.

    Mulita!

I have tried their tacos, mulitas, birria tacos & consume and it's all bomb!! Their mulitas are so big and packed with meat! One will fill you up! Their salsa are good too! They have a open little dining area. Only downside is, we'll it's union, if you know the area then you know why. But other than that It's worth the drive out! everyone I have taken there loves it!

    Carne Asada and Pastor Tacos

first time here, came in the middle of the day. Only customer there probably because of how cold it is and everyone at work...Pastor and Carne Asada tacos and the Horchata was on point. May be eating here again in a couple days.

After waiting an hour for food I was annoyed and upset but the food was worth it! It is authentic homemade tortillas and salsas. Had the deep fried birria tacos, didn't realize that they come with cheese so will skip next time. Family had torta and nachos, which were both large servings, and the agua de horchata was perfect flavor not to sweet

This little hidden gem is the spot for tacos de birria. It's located on union ave where the old el efectivo use to be. The parking is limited to about 8 cars tops so parking could be a hassle if it was the busy time of day. Luckily for us we came around 6:30pm on a Thursday so it wasn't too bad. You walk up to the window and place the order. The menu is vast and they have a lot of options. Even on weekends they actually sell ribs and BBQ chicken. The sitting area is a make shift carport looking area. It's neither indoor or outdoor. The heat wasn't too bad in there but I'm sure in the mid of summer it would not be a good experience. We decided to go with the tacos dorados de birria(de res). I also opted to get a few tacos of the meats they had. One was asada, pastor, tripas and lengua. The birria tacos were the star here. They were greasy and crunchy. Filled with juicy tender meat and cheese. If you haven't had a birria taco this is the place to come. The regular tacos were nothing special. They come out plain and you add your toppings. But the meats were dry and the tortillas were unimpressive. If you want a birria experience this is the place the other tacos I'd stay away from there is other places for that.

Carne Asada Fríes. Amazing dish, delicious food every time we visit.

First off it was a steady flow of customers for a Wednesday evening. Many birthdays! We were sat immediately and waiter came to take our drink order. I had a mango chamoy margarita, while my husband got a roasted chili cucumber margarita on the rocks. His drink was SPICY! I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken and steak molcajete. Our food was brought out super fast! The portions - humongous! But the food is so good! My husband is super picky when it comes to Mexican food, and he said this molcajete is his favorite so far compared to other Mexican restaurants we've been to. The bright colorful colors and great music selection really make it joyous and fun dining experiences. Highly recommend.

The place is pretty easy to find on the corner of 18th & R. There isn't a lot of seating for more than parties of 4. We were a party of 6 and we all smooshed into a horseshoe booth inside. There are only 2 of these booths available and they indicated they are not able to place additional seating at the booths. I imagine you might be able to put tables together outside for a larger party. We were greeted warmly, and while I felt overwhelmed by the amazing choices, the gal taking our order put me at ease by walking me through the menu board. We got amazing carnitas quesadillas and tacos and another dish that came on top of a mound of delicious fries. It's the kind of place where you order, then sit down and they bring you the food. We were well taken care of. Our drinks were refilled and they brought us 'to go' boxes. Their portions are generous and just tasty. And the iced tea was perfect! We ordered a full order of chips and salsa. That is extra. It was $6 for a full order ($5 for half) and these chips were well worth the cost. We will be back!

Before my guest even arrived, I was told the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes, which made it impossible to plan or order properly for both of us. About 30 minutes after being seated, the waitress asked to close out my tab and mentioned they were closing an hour and a half early, something that should have been communicated when I walked in so I could have chosen to go elsewhere. To make things worse, about 10 minutes before closing, they turned the lights all the way up and shut the music off, which made it very clear we were being pushed out. No one came by to offer boxes for our food (I had more than half my meal left), and my guest didn't even get to finish her drink. We were essentially rushed out before the already early closing time, with no proper send-off. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
